AVOID THIS PLACE FOR YOUR WEDDING!!!!! Quynh Tram was very unprofessional! My sister booked her to have her bridal makeup and hair done, made a deposit, confirmed with her about the appointment a week before her wedding and many times before that. She never even put my sister down on her book even though she has already took the money. On the day of the wedding when my sister came out to get her makeup and hair done, Tram never showed up! My sister needed to get her things done by 7am so they had schedule for her to come out at 5:30am. She came, waited until 6:30, no one showed up. She called and texted Tram and she came up with some lame excuses to tell my sister. You would think that after her lame excuses she will eventually show up..no sign of her. My sister, the bride, was soooo mad that she cried on the spot! She didn't know what else to do now that the lady she booked to get her makeup and hair done didn't even bother to show up. In the end, she didn't show up but instead sent two other people who worked for her to come and get the job done. They were very polite. But then again, if my sister wanted someone else to do her hair and makeup for her wedding, she wouldn't have booked you! It was her wedding day, you took her money! If I can just give this place/lady NEGATIVE stars, i would do so! I am sooo disappointed in Tram. When we came to meet her, she brags that she does all these pro stuffs for models and how quick she works and all that. Full of BS! I dont now where else she works, but dont ever book her if you want to avoid this same incident from happening to you. Other than that. I dont know much about the beauty place itself, I am just going to avoid this place from now on. My sister booked the full package, which includes (Tram's makeup and hair work, her brother's photography and video work). On the wedding, none of them showed up, they both sent other people to get the job done. Her brother's excuse? He had to be at another wedding. Im thinking, so I paid you guys, did the whole process like everyone else, yet I don't even deserve what I paid for, because the other wedding you had to be at was way more important? I honestly don't get it. Why bother even booking you guys if you guys are going to send someone else to do it? We liked your work, that's why We booked. The video took around 3 months, the whole taping and editing sucked! The photographers that Tram's brother sent were nice, we liked them. But please please please avoid these two for your big day! If you can't do the work and be professional about it..dont have your eyes so wide open for the money and mouth running like crazy just so people will think you're legit and book u. I don't even know how these two even last in this business until today. So Unprofessional! I think everyone can understand how frustrating it is if it was your wedding. Imagine thinking you had everything booked and ready to go on your wedding day, but then everyone that you booked, took your money, but never showed up to get their jobs done. Tram is good at bragging about herself, so she might pull you into booking her wedding package deal if you're gullible. Don't take any chances of this same situation that happened to my sister happen to you on your wedding day. It's not worth it, she's not worth it. There are plenty of people out there with better makeup/hair skills and are more professional. This review is for wedding make-up and directly to Quynh Tram. I got married in late August of this year and Quynh Tram was my make-up artist. Before I found her, I had asked around for make-up quotes and did make-up trials with other make-up artists in town, but I was not very pleased with their style and price range. $500 for hair + make-up was too much for me. Then I stumbled across QT Beauty via Yelp and being it's so close to my parents' house, where I was getting all my wedding things done, I decided to give her a call. She's cheerful, friendly, and very accommodating towards her customers. She did a very great job on my trial hair (updo) + make-up for only $85! I was sold on the spot but still a bit skeptical and decided to wait for a bit until my friends see me. That very same evening, I went to my friend's wedding and received many compliments on the hair and make-up, so I did what every sane person would do, I came back and booked her for my wedding. Not only her service is superb and professional, her price is also very reasonable and she made me look amazing on my wedding day. At first I thought I looked a bit too much with the make-up being it was daytime and a bit different from our trial session, but upon looking at myself on pictures and receiving compliments after compliments, I'm glad Quynh Tram did the way she did. I didn't have time to return for a touch-up on my wedding day because it was in the opposite direction, but the air-brush make-up and hair stayed up all day, unbelievable! First of all I wouldn't even give this place one star. I showed the lady that was going to do my hair exactly how I wanted it, I showed her a picture and explained to her thoroughly in every detail what I expected. So for me being there for 4 HOURS you'd think my hair would come out looking amazing, but it was everything but that. I had came in with ombré hair and I told her I just wanted it lightened and toned and brought up a little more, but when she was done with my hair it was practically fully blonde or should I say ORANGE and not even blended in! My hair looks so horrible you can see nothing but patches everywhere. After some meticulous searching I found this place on Yelp. They had a good deal on updo and styling. So I decided to book an appointment for the day of a wedding I was attending. I was welcomed instantly after talking and showing my photo of how I wanted my hair, I was seated and she began.The sweet lady who did my hair was patient with my long hair and was very gentle. She also talked to me and was very friendly. She also asked me every step of the way if I was ok with what she was doing. But I was ok with letting her have the reigns with the styling. What I really liked about this salon is that it was very well ventilated, so I wasn't smelling remnants of hair dye chemicals which I really don't like. My hair was done just like the picture and she also included some silk flowers for free to match my dress. I was overjoyed that she went above and beyond to make my hair so pretty. I'm quit upset with the salon. Saturday, 7-16, I had a new set of eyelash, getting a new stylist, Trish, she was very painful when taking off old lashes and not good with new. Having the from Saturday to Tuesday, 4 days they started falling out. I called Tuesday to have my lashes filled/fixed. She started washing my hair, and offered a hair treatment for my damaged hair, but she never did it, guess she forgot. No big deal. I originally was looking for a place to get my eyelashes done, but I ended up discovering that this place had so much more to offer. I started with lashes, then a hair cut. I really liked the way they took care of me so I decided to let them color my hair. My hair used to be very dry and brittle, but the products they use rejuvenated my hair making it soft and shiny again. My natural hair is also very curly, she recommended I get a Brazilian blow out and immediately I noticed how less frizzy it was. Since I have been coming here my hair has grown 3 in., which it hasn't done in years. I even take my daughters here to get their hair cut as well. Their hair has grown and looks ten times healthier than before. Most recently, I got my nails done. I have always worn acrylic but she recommended I try the gel nail polish. I loved how my nails came out they are so natural looking. This place is truly a one stop shop and I absolutely love this place and would highly recommend it.
