I step back in the spa and ask the receptionist what my total was she said $57.00. I then asked her what the balance was on the gift card and she tells me the card only had $57.00 and she kept the gift card. I thought that is strange...so I call my husband and ask him how much he purchased the gift card for and he said $80. I go back in and advise the receptionist that the gift card had $80. She then tries to explain that the way their system is set up that there is no way of her knowing what the balance is on the gift card. I thought that was very strange. She then asked "how much did you say was in the gift card" and I said $80 she then hands me the gift card and says so then your balance is $23. I thought that was extremely shady. I decided to try Ulta Salon services, and I am so glad I got her. She was able to get me in the same day, fix my disaster, and add highlights. Finally, I found time to pamper myself today and initially scheduled for a haircut, but she was able to squeeze in some highlights... and again, I'm just happy so happy with her services. I highly recommend her. She doesn't push or assume what you want, explains every step of the way, and listens to my mindless chatter, lol.
