We were working against a clock to get this done (it was not busy). It was painful. Cutting the nails down too far. Ripping at my cuticles with the little scissors. My feet were barely in the water. The "massage?" More like someone rubbing lotion on my legs. Hot towel? Yes, left there until it was cold. Good job on the polish though. The manicure. Apparently I don't know how she expects me to move my hand because she kept scolding me as she turned it the way she wanted it. Sorry. She got annoyed with me because the polish wasn't curing under the light. My bad. Pretty sure that's not my fault. She didn't remove the one layer leaving it tacky (I did it myself). Good job shaping my nails and for getting the design right. I'm not from the area and just popped in while I was in the area. There were other people doing nails in there but I don't think I'd go back. The gal doing my nails didn't even say hello. Asked me what color and what design. I don't wanna chit chat but a simple hello would've been nice. The reception folks were nice and the man was so happy with how my nails turned out (me too) but the process to get there just wasn't enjoyable.

I was happy with the work and continued to come. But recently, I had an appointment, which I book in advance at the end of my each appointment. I drive 30 minutes from Brownsville to get here. I arrived and the place was locked. I sent a dm, a text, a phone call and left a message. I received no response. I waited for 25 minutes and then drove 30 minutes back home. So it ended up being a waste of 1 hr 25 minutes of my time. I received no response, definitely no reason for the "no show" , no attempt at rescheduling a new appointment. I was out of town for 2 weeks and when I got back I again attempted to get an appointment but received no response. I left it at, she's probably still out. I received no apology, I needed no apology but an attempt of rescheduling would have been nice. I waited an additional period of time and again attempted to get an appointment. This time around, she did acknowledge my attempt and gave me an appointment for the following week. The day of my appointment, I started my drive and about 15 minutes in, she text me that she had to cancel. It's 2 days later, I have been waiting for a reschedule if my appointment and I've gotten nothing. Again, I don't need an apology but a total disregard for my time and effort to be a loyal customer is so disrespectful. Needless to say, I will no longer be a customer of this establishment. I can no longer recommend it. If you value your time, please stay away from here.
