I've had lashes before but stopped because they are quite high maintenance and pricey. But I happened to stumble onto Groupon and found such a great deal with high reviews for Cristina. I purchased the Goddess Lashes but was a bit surprised how booked up her schedule was. After trying online and seeing that she wouldn't be free for over a month, I texted her and she was able to squeeze me in the next week It took about 40 minutes for her to complete my lashes and she was very pleasant. Once done, I was thrilled with how they turned out. The lashes she uses are much thicker and darker than I've had before yet still looked very natural. I went to Lashed by Cristina after reading the reviews here on yelp... I got a Groupon and made an appt for the soonest available, almost 2 weeks later. I had gotten eyelash extensions twice from other salons, this was not my first time getting them. I would not go back to Cristina, nor would I recommend her services to anyone. I was not happy with the work completed by Cristina, during the appt she mentioned multiple times that if eyelashes fell out right away she'd be able to get them fixed if I let her know. This was a bit off putting because I would hope the eyelash extensions would last at least 2 weeks. After Cristina placed the eyelashes on me, my eyelashes had glue and I was unable to open my eye. Cristina had to pull the eyelashes apart for me, after my eye watered due to that. I asked for a tissue... Cristina had no tissues. That was sorta inconvenient to me. After a week, the eyelash extensions looked like I had had them for alot longer. I didn't call Cristina because to be honest I was unimpressed. I've never had my lashes done before so this was my first time. I was nervous but excited. I asked for a dramatic yet natural look and that's exactly what I got. I think next time I would ask for dramatic since I want them to really stand out. She answered all my questions and was super nice, quick and efficient. Overall great experience and will keep on going back. Parking: I usually go in the morning on weekdays or saturdays and because of the time i always find parking. Street parking is about 2 bucks and parking at the westfield is about 8 dollars for the morning early bird (weird even though it says 1 hour free). Service: I got a group on for a full set and a fill it was 99 and totally worth it. The first time I went in for the full set it was about 45 mins and not too dramatic. within a day or two one of my lashes came off. I contacted cristina and asked for a fill because they came out. She was really easy to reschedule with and the next time around they were full and wonderful! The next round for my fill, we did a more full look and I really wanted them to last (i went back after 2 weeks). I was advised not to use anything with glycol around the eyes and no waterproof make up and no water 24 hours after it happens. I even started wearing a sweatband so no sweat will go into my eyes at the gym. it all really worked. I got my 2nd fill and it was 45 (really affordable) my lashes are full and don't fall too often and i will go back over and over and over again! I've been going to Cristina for lash extensions since 2013 while she was still over at Lash Beautique, and I absolutely adore her! Here's the quick gist on house I found her: Lash extensions were something that I wanted to do for a really long time. One of my former co-workers got hers done, and it gave me the extra push to give it a try. She mentioned that she purchased hers through Groupon. I ended up following through to do my own search of where to go, and that's how I ended up finding Cristina. I had a major budget to work with and chose Lash Beautique from Groupon out of all discount service websites to make sure I get the most out of what I'm paying for -- ALWAYS do your research and read the fine print when it comes to big decision things to make sure you're comfortable. It makes make a difference in how you feel with the final outcome. For me, my lashes stick straight even when I curl them and use mascara. It takes me probably an extra 10-15 minutes getting ready with mascara and what not because of how I like my lashes look. I am pretty simplistic with my daily routine and sometimes like just using mascara and leaving for the day. Cristina is the one who I chose initially and still go to her even though she's over at a new location now. Mine are pretty natural looking. Most of the time people can't tell whether I have lash extensions on or not, and I don't really care if people know because I totally vouch for having them or for anybody to give it a try. If you've never gone, always ask questions to help calm any nerves you might have. The process itself is pretty simple. You lay down with your eyes closed, and your bottom lashes will be taped to prevent glue from getting on them. It isn't uncomfortable at all. You get to chat and hang out for about an hour and a half while the lashes are being applied to your own. Fills are a lot shorter and quicker. Mine tend to be around the 4-week mark. I'm pretty good with how I treat mine and follow all of the instructions that were given to me because I like making the most out of the money I spent. There will be instances where some fills go through phases and one eye will have fallen out compared to the other side, but Cristina is more than understanding that things just happen! Each visit is great, and we chat about pretty much everything and catching up with each appointment! The process is completely painless and would recommend it to anybody who has been thinking about it. The smell of the glue doesn't bother me at all. However, I would not recommend lash extensions to you if you have really sensitive eyes or can't handle laying still with your eyes closed for long periods of time. Be mindful of which set you purchase to what look you want to get. The level of how dramatic the effect is does correspond with the number of lashes in each set. I did not want mine to be obvious that I have fake lashes and did the research to figure out which would be best for me. The difference with my natural lashes and the extensions were big enough for me. It looks like I have mascara on and appears completely natural. I do use contact lenses, glasses, and sunglasses and am able to go about my day without even noticing the lashes. It's worth it to try even if it's at least once. She also has a little yorkie that's the best little assistant, so I call my appointments Enzo Play Dates. I only vouch for people and things I believe in, and I've been super happy with my experience with Cristina! read more

I purchased this groupon 4 months ago, I was not able to book the appt from the beginning because the website was always down most of the time. I voiced out a concern on a substance used for the procedure. After that she refused to provide the service. I told her that I still wanted to get the service anyway and she still refused. Being disabled, I thought that I would treat myself to something nice for a change and purchased a Living Social coupon for Lashed by Cristina. I left early for my appmt and drove downtown to the address on the voucher. Not only did I have a hard time finding it, but I had a very difficult time parking. No Parking anywhere ! I finally found a place that charged me $10 and had to walk pretty far. As I was walking there, I receive a text notice saying, " DO NOT REPLY, YOU ARE CONSIDERED A NO SHOW." The same message was sent to my email address. I was 15 mins late ! Upon contacting the salon, I was told that the salon AUTOMATICALLY CANCELS YOUR APPOINTMENT IF YOU ARE 15 MINS LATE, NO FLEXIBILITY AT ALL, they refused to work with me. Cristina told me that she is booked back to back which I believe; however what did she do with the 1 hour and 45 mins that I wasn't there? They didn't even offer me any other option. They could have at least offered to just do 20 lashes instead of 30 due to the time paramenter. NOPE, SALON POLICY. REALLY???? Now, I'm out $$$$ after all of that hassle plus I paid $10 for parking.
