***I had to update my review after my most recent visit because WOW what a difference!*** I really appreciate businesses that take ownership when something doesn't go as planned. After my previous experience, the team reached out, made things right, and even provided a complimentary service for the inconvenience. That's the kind of customer care that earns customer loyalty. Experience: This visit was a complete 180 from my last one. No issues with the call box or communication with calls/texts. I was able to get in and out in under an hour and everything stayed on schedule. KUDOS! Service: My lash lift with tint looks amazing! I will say I have had better lifts done. I think I prefer the Korean lash lift (which they don't do here), but Keyaira did an amazing job, as usual. She's talented, a great conversationalist, and made me feel so relaxed throughout the whole process. Overall, this visit changed my impression and everyone was very accommodating (shout to Kay as well!!) and focused on making sure I had a better experience. I wish I got to meet the other staff in person, but apparently they aren't there most weekends or at least when I went. Thanks for turning a frustrating situation into a positive one. read more

I had a very disappointing experience. I originally had an appointment at 2:30, then messaged them asking if I could come earlier. They told me there was availability at 12:15, so I went at the new time they gave me -- only to be told I had no appointment. I had literally spoken to them just two hours before, so this was very unprofessional. They asked me to wait "just 10 minutes," but I ended up waiting 30 minutes. After that, the preparation alone took another 30 minutes. When the lash application finally started, it was extremely slow and unprofessional. She would place one lash, then pause for about a minute as if she was distracted or on her phone, then continue. The actual focused work only happened in the last 30 minutes. They also mentioned there was a $50 discount this month on all services, but when I paid, my total was $189 -- almost the full original price of $200. On top of that, during my previous refill appointment, I was also charged $200, which is unreasonable. This experience wasted 2 hours and 40 minutes of my time on my birthday. I have a baby and needed to be back to feed her, so this was especially frustrating. I would not recommend this place. read more

Parking is usually a hassle down town, but there is a self parking lot directly across the street from the building (Ace Parking was about $15 for two hours). Imagine giving this place 3 chances and every time your lash tech is late. The first time I waited around 10-15 mins after my lash time because Zenia thought the time of the appointment was for another time. -I let it slide. The second time Zenia asked an hour before our appointment to change times which I agreed and she was still late, I call but no answer then she shows up- I let it slide. Today, she is late, no responding to my calls or text. After 5 minutes she shows up and I ask what happened as I called and text and you know what she says? "I was still working, it's only been 5 minutes but you don't have to take the appointment if you don't want to." Keep in mind as the customer I showed up early. No courtesy text or call was ever made anytime to let me know she was going to be late either so prepare to be wondering where your lash tech is because theirs no common courtesy or respect. read more

I recently purchased a Groupon for microneedling and requested an appointment via their website. My appointment was denied even though I selected from their available appointment times. I then texted to make an appointment and found a time that worked. The day of my appointment I realized they never confirmed my appointment so I texted to confirm my 7:30pm appointment. They asked if I could come earlier at 5:45pm which I said was no problem. I show up early around 5:40pm and the door is locked. I waited there for 25 minutes texting the number all to find out the esthetician had left as their shipment of products never arrived so they couldn't do microneedling. Worst customer service. Why wouldn't you let your client know this or cancel the appointment? Also why ask me to come early if you didn't have the supplies? Don't waste your time. I was texted 2hours before my appointment to change my appointment time to 45min later. My appointment was at 11. I had a appointment after so I couldn't change the time more than 30min. They said they wouldn't have enough time and tried to change my appointment for the following day. This is not okay. They take a credit card to secure the appointment time. If I was running 45min behind I would be charged, correct? Their policy should go both ways. I should have been offered a discount or something for the inconvenience and short notice. This is so disappointing. I won't try to go back. read more

As a total tom boy, non make up wearing Newby, I was absolutely terrified of getting lash extensions. Lorena messaged me back quickly and I booked an appointment. This covid-19 following, comforting, wonderful lash technician made my dreams come true by making me look beautiful and truly feel beautiful. You arrive with no makeup or oils on your face, lay down on a comfy table and either chit chat or relax and listen to music while your technician delicately applies each lash. There is no pain with this process at all. I almost dozed off into a good nap before I realized it! The appointment itself was under 2 hours for the classic lashes. I did not want huge dramatic eyelashes. I wanted something pretty, natural looking and had no idea what to ask for. Lorena showed me pictures of the styles available, the length choices, the curl choices and even the pinpoint to which direction I wanted the lashes (focal point in the middle or eye lash getting subtly longer towards the outer corner). I chose classic with focal point center. I highly recommend Lorena for all of your beauty needs. If you feel like lashes wont change your appearance or confidence level...
