Two years ago I visited a different salon that ruined my hair fried my hair, my scalp, and my neck! A week later I heard of Robin Enos (the owner) she does repairs ;) lol... Yes she does! She fixed my hair and I walked out a bomb shell!! Her salon is the only one in town that uses a steam hair dryer rather than your usual hot air dryer. I wasn't try to damage my hair any more. Just had my hair colored at the salon. I had an appointment with Robin. The color with highlights turned good but it was too pricey! My hair is above shoulder and was charged $95.00 for color with highlights and with snips of the bangs. Erin, the assistant was good and the salon's guy receptionist was great! He knows what customer service is! The salon has a good location. I thought of coming back but after careful thinking, I probably will try other salons and will post my personal experience again to help others in search of a great and reasonably priced salon in Bakersfield! read more

I love what Kirsten did to my hair! I went blonder after being a more natural dark blonde, and she did a wonderful job. I also asked for layers, and she gave me exactly what I wanted even though I suck at explaining it. I'm in love with their steam hair dryers. I came in for a haircut and color and I was not pleased with the end result. Although I liked my darker hair color that Jen Rose created, the hair cut was horrific. I like a straight cut and Jen Rose did not know how to achieve it. To make matters worse, she had straightened my hair then curled it. She obviously saw the poor hair cut and wanted to hide the evidence. I should have known something was wrong but I didn't so a payed $100 and left. The following day I straightened my hair at home, and I could not believe the condition my hair was in. The bottom was not straight and the layers were uneven. Ladies do not come here expecting much.
