I have been officially blown away. I've have my fair share of lash lifts in the past, and while I love them, I've always been curious about lash extensions. But because I'd usually be exposed to mega volume lashes in my everyday life, I never felt the need to pull the trigger immediately. After seeing a couple of different works done by lash techs that didn't just look like tarantulas coming our of your eyes, I saw the potential and thought it might be worth the shot. I've done a decent amount of research on what I believe would fit my face and which lash tech in LA could make my idea into a reality, and after looking high and low from the bowels of Instagram to the neck of Yelp, somewhere along the line I stumbled onto Lashes Girl in West Covina. I liked their range in designs and offers, from a classic to a Russian volume. I especially had my eye on their classic designs, and after scouring the net from their Instagram to Google and Yelp, I thought they especially excelled at their natural-looking classic lash extensions. I made my appointment through their booking platform with one of their techs named Chloe. Their modest shop is nestled in the corner of a nearby intersection, and while the parking lot was small I had no issues finding parking. My first impression of their brick and mortar store was bright and clean, and I was greeted inside by a receptionist. Chloe was able to immediately accomodate me and we had our consultation. She'll show you the different lengths of lash extensions they provide, and will do her best to explain the whole process to you while seeing what design would work best with you. I went for the natural classic look, and after getting past all the nitty gritty, she got to work in haste. She makes sure you're comfortable with the lash glue, and is very lighthanded and gentle. Despite it saying it takes 1 hr and 30 mins a session, Chloe wastes no time and it took her only about a little bit less than an hour to get everything done. I was honestly a little nervous to see how it'd look on me, but the way I GASPED when I opened my eyes and looked into the mirror. I was absolutely blown away by her results. She managed to make my eyes appear beautiful and she constructed the lashes in such a way that it naturally accentuated the shape of my eyes. I appreciated that she didn't glue every single one of my lashes, making sure that I still have my natural lashes concealed underneath. Her outstanding work has brought back my confidence and I felt beautiful with my brand spanking new lashes. Chloe is incredibly talented, and at this point it would be a crime to go to any other lash artist from this point going forward in my lash journey. Note that there is a 2%-ish surcharge if you use a credit card to pay, but the quality of her work is beyond valuable. I look forward to being a repeat customer here indefinitely.

The most important thing for me is that the lash artist listen to what I wanted! I know that seems obvious, but I have been to countless lash places who say they understand what I want (very natural looking, and not like I am wearing mascara) and I walk out looking like I'm entering a contest for a drag queen show! No joke! This place not only has the material, but they listen to what I'm coming in for 100% of the time. I will drive further to this location every time for this reason. I've been here multiple times and it's the only place I would ever visit for my lashes. I have sensitive skin and eyes, but I have never had any problem with Lashes Girl. Their salon is very clean with disposable sheet cover and everything else. Chloe is my go to and her skill is indisputable. She understands what I want and delivers. By far, she is the only technician I've ever worked with that can do that...I highly recommend Chloe. They also keep a record of what you've done/tried before, such as length and curl level. This made it easy for you to try out different styles and figure out what you like the most! read more

I came in today so they can fix something for me. They got me in as quick as they could. I love how they can work around my crazy work schedule. I love my lashes this is my third time coming. All the eyelash technicians are super talented. Their customer service is great! I like how they ask me if I live how one of my eyes looks before they start the other. Gurl don't do it. I went here so excited to get my lashes done for the first time and I was so confused when I opened my eyes. I really explain how I wanted a mix of a hybrid and classic set. The lashes were bunched like this by the time I walked out. I got to my car and tried to brush them out but they weren't fanned out properly so they just clumped. These are my lashes a week in. Like what?? They don't even curl at the ends, anyone they're just straight. I ended up paying 130 with tip. Be real with me... we all know this wasn't worth $130. I went in on a Sunday for either lash extensions or a lash lift with tint end up going with a lash lift due to having long lashes, they weren't as dark as I would have like but reason I'm writing this review is because by Wednesday I was in urgent care and had to miss 3 days of work due to reaction burns not sure, but I ended up with two black eyes. It's been a complete week now and I'm still not 100 percent better. The swelling and bruising has gone down, but the irritation has not.. also lost a lot of my natural lashes. read more

Kathy did a great job with my manicure. As soon as another lady started with my pedicure I told her I had an ingrown nail in my right toe and I would appreciate it if she could get it out. I could see her trying to get it out and I see she pulls a piece of skin and I am thinking she will stop and cut it as soon as she takes it out, instead she keeps pulling my skin to the point where she peels off the front of my skin. A think layer by the way (as you can see in the picture). The gentleman that answers the phone walks around and he did noticed the lady had hurt my toe and didn't said anything. Looks like he is the supervisor or something, I thought he would say something when I was paying, but he didn't. I didn't want to argue because I already knew I wasn't going to come back. I should have taken the advice from one of the bad reviews they have here. Too late to regret it now. It's unfortunate that I paid $98 and walked out with my skin peeled off. I wanted to share my experience in the hopes that this won't happen to someone else. Save yourself time, money, and a bad experience. Go somewhere else. Not worth it. During the filing process, the technician filed very aggressively and actually cut two of my fingers. Despite explaining the shape I wanted, I never got the result I was asking for. The French tips were the biggest disappointment. They looked uneven and already appeared days old despite being freshly done. Throughout the appointment, I respectfully pointed out areas I wanted adjusted, but each correction seemed to make the lines thicker or more uneven. I felt like my feedback wasn't being heard. The appointment took nearly 1 hour and 45 minutes for a very simple design. As the technician became visibly frustrated, I eventually said the nails were fine because I felt that was the best result I was going to get and I just wanted to leave. When I explained that I needed to go, she still turned the drill back on and started reworking a nail instead of respecting my time. I had to leave to pick up my son from basketball practice, and I shouldn't have had to justify that. The entire experience felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. I understand that French tips can be challenging to perfect, but I expected better communication, more attention to detail, and respect for my feedback. Unfortunately, I left unhappy with my nails and wishing I had spent my money elsewhere. I would have preferred a refund so I could have them corrected by another technician.

Chloe can design your style for you per your desires, or you can just show her a picture she will make it happen, and she's so quick while not sacrificing any quality.
