TLDR: Ellen is awesome, her studio is so cute & so cozy, && her eyelashes are just amazing!! So the long version: I decided that for my 27th birthday I will treat myself to some eyelash extensions to see what they're like. I scrolled through instagram to figure out what lashes I like (anime eyelashes) and went on yelp to find someone near me who could do them. I stumbled on Lashmor and knew I just had to try Ellen out. I got them done on Sunday (6/29). We went back and forth about what style of eyelashes and how dramatic I want it, etc. After seeing her work, I was so excited...that I forgot about the post care instructions. I TOOK A SHOWER THAT NIGHT AND DRYED MY EYELASHES WITH A FAN. So as you know, EYELASHES ARE GOING TO FALL BECAUSE THEY CANNOT GET WET BEFORE THE 24 hour mark. I immediately messaged Ellen and sent pics, she reminded me that I was not supposed to get them wet until AFTER 24 hours. I was so sad...I was so excited and didn't listen to post care instructions luckily she agreed to help me on Tuesday (7/1). I got to the studio a bit past 6:30pm and she literally saved me. I was a little nervous as I've only gotten lash extensions a handful of times. I went for a wet set kitten eye. The experience was fantastic; it was easy to book an appointment, Ellen was so nice and welcoming, and the studio was nicely decorated and clean. The service was quick despite my fluttery eyelids and I'm super satisfied with the results, they're not too thick and are the perfect length. Bonus points for the music too! It was a little hard to find where the salon was located as there's no sign and the plaza looks like a closed off apartment complex, but just walk through the gate and up the stairs. I had an AMAZING experience with Ellen at Lattuie / Lashmor Studio! I went in for a full set of the anime style lashes, and she did them perfectly, they are exactly what I wanted! I have had sensitivity to lash glue in the past so I wanted to try her LED Light add on that she offers, and I had NO irritation at all. I was soooo happy! I was really worried I was going to have some sensitivity/ inflammation again, but the LED light is a game changer! The whole appointment was so relaxing, I almost fell asleep. 2.5 stars if I could. I feel bad leaving this review because Ellen is genuinely kind and responsive--but I'm really disappointed with the results of my lash perm and LED extensions. After just one day, all of the lashes had fallen off. Ellen was quick to respond and kindly offered to redo them the following week. Unfortunately, within another week, I had lost more than 50% again. Something clearly went wrong with the bonding process--especially since my natural lashes are still intact. LED lash extensions are supposed to have better retention, but this was the worst retention I have ever had with any extensions ever. I really wanted to like this place, but I wouldn't recommend it. I spent several hours and over $100 for results that didn't last. read more

I sent Ellen an inquiry regarding a lash perm touch up from 4 weeks, and she replied really quickly, so I booked an appointment the day of. The studio is pretty cute and cozy, and you get to sit in a comfortable plush couch. She offered two types of lash perms, and I chose "C-curl," which is the natural one out of the two, with a tint. I felt super comfortable and relaxed the entire session, and it only took about an hour. She applied a Korean keratin serum and essence to keep your lashes healthy at the end. Since I have small eyes, extensions usually make them look heavy, and my natural lashes are too short for a perm to be effective.
