The sugar house coffee was a standout. Rich, smooth, and exactly what you want on a cold Vermont morning. We also tried the handmade biscuit, warmed and buttered, and it genuinely felt like a hug in biscuit form. Shoutout to Ethan for being incredibly helpful and thoughtful with recommendations. With his guidance, we built a fantastic sandwich with sourdough, hash browns, avocado, green sauce, and chili crunch. He understood the assignment. Messy, hearty, and delicious. The vegan wrap was also flavorful and satisfying. We left happy, full, and already talking about coming back. As our drinks were being created I was checking out their huge selection of bag teas, I had Lapsang Souchong tea on my shopping list for making seitan, I was shocked to find it in our lil small town and so happy! I did see a small girl sitting with plate in front of her that had a waffle with ice cream and whipped cream piled so high, that it was almost as tall as her.
