SO, SO, SO happy with my eyebrows!! Alma did a great job!! She's so super sweet and very professional! I wanted my brows thicker, but Alma really does know best. She talked me out of it and said we could always go thicker if I wanted to later, but I realized how silly my thick, drawn on brows looked after getting them tattooed. It's so nice not to have to draw them in every morning, it saves so much time! And I don't have to worry about them smudging anymore either. I was able to make an appointment fairly quickly when I called her. She called me a couple days in advance to remind me and go over pre tattoo instructions. When I got there the day of, she drew on my brows to get the right look, took tons of pictures and got started. It took around an hour and a half I'd say for everything, if that. She completely numbed my brows before starting and I didn't feel a thing! I kept sneezing and she told me that was a good sign that I was really numb. That's for sure! The brows looked really dark at first, which I actually didn't mind, but they lighted up over the next week, just like Alma said they would. I was referred to Alma by my mother in law. I had been interested in getting my eyebrows tattooed for many years but never considered going to someone until I saw their work first hand... I was so impressed with the eyebrows and eye liner that Alma did for my Mother-in law that I booked an appointment with her a few weeks later. My brows weren't too bad to start. I have a decent amount of brow hair and a good shape, they were just on the thin side (Probably from over plucking as a teenager). If I could give one star I would. I got my eyebrows done here couple years ago and take it from me it is NOTHING like alma said it would be. First of all I waited awhile to do my review because it takes awhile to get the actual results after getting permanent make up. I got my brows done and what was suppose to be the hair stroke technique and dark brown color, it turned out to be the total opposite. My brows have no hair strokes what so ever, and the pigment has turned a bluish color, which she said wouldn't happened. And on top of that it has no shape or form, my brows looks like Someone drew them on with a sharpie pen. I still have to draw them on myself to make them look decent. Lost my eyebrows due to alopecia and was tired of waking up with a bald face and pencilling my brows on, so I searched for someone who did brows with brush strokes that would not look just flat. Alma is an artist! Alma filled in my sparse eye brows and evened them out (one was higher than the other). At first I was worried b/c it was so dark (not bad, just looked like I was wearing make up). She assured me that it would fade...it took a couple of months for the color to look natural. It has been a year (almost) and she was right! My eye brows look so natural and they are even.
