I agreed to the cleaning. The first hygienist who did the right side was amazing. The next day I came back for the left side with a different hygienist, and it was horrible. I was choking on water the entire time, and instead of using the suction tool, she just kept apologizing and letting me struggle. After the cleaning, I asked again about my retainer -- the main reason I was there in the first place -- and was told I'd have to wait two more weeks for an appointment, all while my teeth are shifting. This was a horrible experience. Dr. Tath is not focused on helping patients; he seems more interested in money than care. I would not recommend this office to anyone looking for an honest and patient-focused dentist.

She knows what she's doing and is always up to date on the latest treatments and methods of dentistry. I believe she told me that they are also going to start offering Ozone therapy for those who want to use it in their treatments, which is awesome. (Look into it) Every time I have come in, they have gone above and beyond to make sure I'm comfortable. This is also important to me because I never know how I'll be feeling. They take different insurances but if you have to pay out of pocket, their rates are resonable. The office is very clean, and she has plenty of chairs for when she is working on you, so when you are in for your appointment you do not feel crowded. I had one of the worst dental experiences of my life at Plume Dental Implant Studio in Lathrop, CA…read more95330. A routine dental check-up turned into weeks of pain, frustration, and hundreds of dollars in unexpected out-of-pocket charges. I initially chose this clinic because it was near my home and I had dental insurance. During my first visit, the dentist did X-rays and an exam, then presented a comprehensive treatment plan based on my insurance. They also offered financing for uncovered costs through a partner lender, which I accepted. The plan included two price options for a crown--one with a root canal and one without. Without consulting me, the dentist decided to go ahead without the root canal, supposedly to save me money. A temporary crown was installed. That night, after the anesthesia wore off, I experienced severe pain that lasted for days. I returned to the clinic and saw a different dentist, who gave me antibiotics and painkillers and set a follow-up appointment. I had never had this level of discomfort from dental work before--couldn't eat, sleep, or function normally--and had to pay for medications myself. At the next visit, the original dentist told me a root canal was in fact necessary. He wasn't sure he could complete it and might need to refer me to a specialist. He also said I would now need to pay the root canal fee out-of-pocket because he had previously chosen not to include it in the loan. Although this fee was listed on the original plan, it was now excluded from financing due to his earlier decision. I was left paying more than expected mid-treatment. He offered me a 50% discount, which I accepted reluctantly just to move forward. To his credit, the root canal itself went okay. But when a new temporary crown was placed, it fell off within a day. The permanent crown was delayed for three weeks with no update--I had to call the office myself. When I arrived, they realized it was the wrong size and needed to remake it. Another temporary crown was placed, and guess what? It fell off again the next day. During my next visit, I was presented with yet another unexpected bill--over $100--because my insurance supposedly didn't cover some items. This was never disclosed beforehand, and those items had been part of the original treatment plan. I was told to "ask my insurance company" myself. I absolutely despise the kind of practice where pricing is agreed upon at the beginning, only for the patient to be hit with unexplained charges halfway through under vague or questionable justifications. It feels dishonest and exploitative. In the end, I endured a week of unnecessary pain, multiple return visits, added medication costs, temporary crowns that never stayed in place, crown delays, and far more out-of-pocket expenses than initially quoted. I've lost trust completely and will not be returning. I'm sharing this to help others avoid a similar experience. Dental care should be based on trust and transparency. Sadly, I found neither here.

Sure, so we made the appointment along with a filling. Two weeks later, doc says that tooth suddenly needs a root canal after he asked if there was pain. **Mind you, I made it clear there was pain in the initial paperwork and at the very first appointment.** I was caught off guard and nervous but took the risk and went with the root canal on the spot. Days followed with excruciating pain and discomfort as expected from a root canal but the temporary crown was sharp along the sides, hurting my tongue and gums. I go to a different dentist (bc mdc isn't open weekends) who adjusted it for me and prescribed meds since I couldn't sleep for days due to the pain. Weeks later, the temporary crown breaks. I let them know it's broken and I'm told doc is on vacation the entire week but they have the permanent crown...so no one else is capable of putting one in except him, cool. (Later I was told the entire office was on vacation that week) So I went through that week with a broken crown, hoping it doesn't get infected. Final appointment, it was very busy in office. I wait 1 hour for doc and fell asleep in the chair (I've been up since 4:30am for work). I could hear another patient complaining and waiting to be seen as well. If you're going to be this busy, at least hire another dentist to help out instead of a dozen assistants. Adjusting the crown to my bite took ages. I give up and say it's fine (it wasn't, I was over it) so I could just ask a new dental office to adjust it for me. Majority of the staff and reception were super kind and attentive. The ones I made contact with via call/text made it seem like it was a chore to reach back to me at times. Shoutout to the long haired blonde assistant who helped me first, she's extremely kind and gentle with patient care. However, a different assistant that finished off my crown cleanup nearly cut my lip with the tool, overall seemed unapologetic, dismissive, wanting to go home type of mood (me too kid). I'm never one to "Karen" and complain at all but holyyy this was the worst dental experience I've ever had. If you need a root canal, go to an endodontist but anything else may get done well here...I won't be back though.
