Since my visit, Janae (accountant) has been on vacation 3 separate times and OH, this last call, reception stated that the whole staff, including yourself, was on vacation till the middle of April. Same with my family, parents, and grandparents and the attention to detail and just making you feel absolutely heard and taken care of is insane ! I'm a huge cry baby when it comes to sensitivity in my mouth and they are so helpful and understanding. Definitely patient and honestly just willing to always work out an amazing treatment plan. She's very sweet and kind I met with Makayla who showed me around she introduced me to a few people and took my x-rays this was my first time at Manteca Dental Care. And then I met with the hygienist Liz, who was outstanding! again great customer service. then I met with my Dentist Rick Tran super personable and caring. He asked me questions about my concerns (if I had any)I was most impressed with as busy as it seemed there he took his time with me. It did not feel rushed very genuine. I've been going to Manteca Dental for many years even when they we're at their old address across town, but I've always had good treatment with the staff and they make you feel like an individual just coming in. It's a pretty calming environment although Dr. Tran is teaching hygienist along the way as well to learn their practice and they've all been very cordial and have the abilities and knowledge,if not, they'll find out from him or you'll get an answer that way, but treatment and service has been great for me. I've waited too long. I got my dental insurance just before the pandemic started and, after it ended, I didn't push to get things done. My insurance has a couple of days remaining. I made an appointment here and I understood that I was going to have everything inspected, have things cleaned, and get a plan to put things right. I showed up for the appointment about 15 minutes early, at 9:45. I was asked to go back around 10:40. Anxiety was getting stronger with every minute. I explained to everyone about my insurance going away, hoping for some kind of help today. The first person took a number of x-ray images. She re-did a few, as they weren't quite good enough. I had trouble breathing and the anxiety was continuing to grow. We talked casually, but it didn't help much. Eventually, after the images were ready, the dentist showed up. I explained my situation to him and got a very patient "We're all here for your health." kind of message, with a silent "don't rush us". The financial person came to get me about 11:30. We chatted while she was preparing the list of needs. She told me about the different financing options. Almost $15,000 later, she asked me if I needed to go home to think about it. Yes, I need to think about spending almost $15,000. So, I'm still in pain and anything that they could have done to help me was apparently too much trouble. They didn't even do a simple cleaning. The second dental hygenist called out, according to what I was told. read more

As a person who used to have extreme dental anxiety, choosing Manteca Dental Care has been the best decision I've ever made. The front desk and office staff are a vibe!! They're friendly and personable for every interaction whether it be on the phone or in person. They never fail to greet me when I walk in the door, and immediately put me at ease. They're also so patient with me and clearly communicate when answering any of my questions. The Hygienists are top notch (shout out to Taylor) as are all the dental assistants. I'm on the back end of my ortho treatment! I am happy, but I am also a bit sad I'm sad because I will miss the amazing ortho specialists, Ally and MJ! Although the dentist is not my favorite place to be, I always enjoy my genuine conversations with them. They are always very warm, caring, and of course patient and reassuring with any concern, big or small. I have not been an easy patient all the time, yet they continued to be understanding, competent, and professional. I also have to mention Dr. Tran! I am new to the area and scheduled an appointment based on a flyer received in the mail. I checked the reviews on Google and they were really good so I felt confident making an appointment. My appointment was at 1pm and by 1:45 I was told a room was being prepared for me. By 1:50 I was put in a room and told that I was not receiving a cleaning today only x-rays. This was NOT stated to me prior to the appointment. I had a cleaning and x-rays done 6 months ago with the Dentist I have been going to for the last 20 years. All of my records and x-rays were sent over to this office way in advance of my appointment. The woman insisted that I would need to get more x-rays done to determine if I needed a deeper cleaning. She left the room as she was going to check the records received and by 2pm I was still in the room so I got up and walked out. Not a good first impression of this Dentistry office and feels like they are just working patients to get more money out of them. read more

I have the worst anxiety and Dr. Tran is so patient with me and humorous, he's just great. They help out with so many payment options and accommodations as well.
