Sad that after certain hour they charge for being there as they have some live music (singer) and it was odd as we had dinner, we were consuming, having drinks all night non stop and once approach to pay $15 each if we wanted to stay, we thought it was rude, mind our bill with tip was $175 just my hubbie and me. My family and I ate there July 27th. My niece found a cockroach under her salad. We didn't receive an apology but excuses that it fell from the ceiling. My sister in law said her food tasted like egg shells or something gritty like sand. Again, no apology. We asked to speak to a manager but was informed that there wasn't one. My absolute favorite place to go to when I am in the South Florida area!! Stays open late, good casual vibes, and awesome food and drinks. There is a big parking lot right next to the restaurant as well. We came on a Saturday evening which is when it was at full capacity inside, but we were able to be seated outside relatively quickly. I think there was some sort of soccer game on inside and some live entertainment, and it would have been too loud for us. I got the Brazilian steak (small) and my boyfriend got the Beef Ribs. Both came with a side of rice and beans, salad, and a side of your choice (we got sweet plantains but they had fries too). Steak is cooked one level higher than we ordered (e.g. medium was closer to medium well) so I would keep that in mind for next time but no big deal. Our server was a gem and spoke loudly and clearly so we could hear over the loud music. Despite it being crazy busy, the food still came out in an acceptable amount of time. Atmosphere is great. I'm told they have music and the place is great for entertainment. We came in for dinner and I let my SIL help with the ordering. Service was very attentive and good. My boyfriend and I ordered the Lomo Saltado as our mains. There was ceviche (amazing) and beef empanadas (good) ordered as appetizers. We were very disappointed in the Lomo Saltado. The meat was so dry we basically ate around it enjoying the rice and onions and tomatoes. I tried my daughters pork which was pounded thin and fried and so juicy I was jealous. I get it's trying to portray a club like restaurant, but there's no one to greet you, instead you wait minutes to be told to sit wherever. Ken and me shared the Picanha Steak dinner regular dinner portion which consisted of 2 steaks, Salad, French fries and a bowl of rice each! Yummy yummy! First time here. You want Colombian, Peruvian or Venezuelan food then this is your place. On the weekends they have live music and DJ. The music is on point. The food is really good. Unacceptable. We finally placed our order, and I ordered my usual, the BEEF Lomo Salteado. 10 minutes later, we received our food, and my order was the chicken version. Unacceptable as I showed the server the exact picture of what I intended to order. Another 10 minutes later, I got the correct version of what I wanted, but again the server failed to ask me how I wanted the steak cooked. What a treat! Friendly hostess and plenty of seating. Great service & we opted for the breakfast choice. It comes a choice of hot chocolate or coffee. For me it is ALWAYS hot chocolate! Delicious calentado paisa for both of us & fiancé added steak for only $3 more. Eggs cooked perfectly & we asked for some hot sauce & received 3 little cups of this incredible green sauce - a must!! Latinos Restaurante is the kind of place you need to come to many times, and try something different each time. So far my favorites are their steak and tostones. Few places can boast homemade tostones. One of the highlights of the meal for sure. If you are an adventurous grill master of sorts then go next store to the carnicería and get a few pounds of steak to make yourself. On two separate occasions I've had their chicken and it seemed to me to be a bit dry. Good...but dry. Their drinks are also good. I'm a bit of a self taught mixologist, so I tend to be a bit critical. I can still say that these drinks are good and well priced. The value is very good. My wife and I will do a date night here and usually never spend more than $70-$80 to get two meals, tax and tip. read more

Ordered Ceviche Mixto and it was sublime. The flavors were sweet, acidic, just enough onion and the calamari/fish mix was great. Next was a Picanha Caesar salad. Bro, my girl and I fought over every bite! It was amazing. The dressing was perfect. Steak was cooked to perfection, medium rare. So flavorful. We sat and savored the flavors and decided to indulge our tastebuds a bit more with a steak/beef empanada and we were not disappointed. Real meat. Real flavor. Really good. A must try. Next we ordered the spareribs and once again we were not disappointed. The beef ribs were attached to the skirt or apron and the sear on the rib portion was amazing. You know that flavor, salty, bbq, beefy and juicy. An absolute must. The sides were rice and red/black beans and we had red. Fried yucca and salad on the side. We were locked in on the beef and the sides were fine but our focus was the beef and it's easy to fall in love with this dish for the flavor. We each had a drink and passed on the deserts and the bill was under $100 with tip included. The place is vibrant with culture, music, and a lively bunch of patrons. In spring 2022, I moved to CVE from suburban Philly. In February 2023, my sister and brother-in-law came from Jersey to visit me. On a weekend night, they asked me to recommend a Latino restaurant. Initially, we went to a Brazilian place on SW 10th Avenue but we walked out. I then recommended we try Latinos. We arrived and the girl put our name on the waitlist. They called us 15 minutes later and seated us. There was a wedding reception table near us and the place was packed. I ordered 3 big tacos. They were very good. Unfortunately, a woman at a nearby table decided to stand right behind my sister's chair and chat with a woman from another nearby table across the railing from us, repeatedly bumping my sister's chair and shoulder as if the nightclub activity had begun. We were interested in getting a second round of drinks but the waitstaff avoided us after serving the food. I could see them serving other tables but I'd like to think we mattered, too. Also, the piped in salsa music was blaring so that we could not have any reasonable conversation. Perhaps that's part of the cultural Latino charm. Found this gem through a yelp search! Love that! The place was not too crowded so we sat instantly. It's a lot larger on the inside than it looks from outside. Also, the curb appeal is low but the inside decor is beautiful. The shopping center parking lot was under construction when I went so parking was very difficult. The food selection was vast and plentiful. We ordered a bit of everything! There was nothing we were disappointed in. That chimichuri though! Even the dessert selections were many. Hate to give a 1-star but I feel it's only fair to consumers who may think this is actually a 4-star place. Not sure how they could have earned that but perhaps it just means standards are very low in this area. Service wasn't the problem, but the food definitely was. I ordered the stuffed arepa, with lomo saltado which is a thin cut steak. The arepa was awful, flavorless and slightly burned. The steak was awful, flavorless and cooked at all diff temperatures. The dish itself was very beaten up and full of chipped off corners. The juice was watered down. Never got water. It was just bad. I highly recommend folks to look elsewhere. read more

I ordered "calentado paisa" which is corn cake with cheese, eggs and rice and beans this breakfast includes coffee or hot chocolate all this for only $10 which is super reasonable because the portion is pretty big. The beans and rice had good flavor however they were a little on the salty side and the corn cake was a bit soggy and bland, but i still ate it all. I would still recommend this place. The best part of this visit was i got a free dessert all for just checkin in through yelp. My choice was cuatro leches.
