We had the arepas. They were hot and delicious! I got the shredded chicken with avocado and mayo and it was delicious especially for a mayo lover. My boyfriend got the shredded beef with Gouda cheese- their most popular arepa and for good reason! We also got the Pineapple juice and highly recommend it. They blend the ice with the drink so it's not too sweet! We ordered at the counter and ate in the restaurant. It was nice inside and there are extra Colombian treats on display. The 2 workers were very friendly and recommended a green sauce which made the arepas even better! Definitely recommend stopping at this restaurant!

I found a new place in Hillsboro, very close to US1, in Venezuelan food, they are new to the area, we tried tequeños, arepas and pastelitos, the prices are comfortable and the food rich. A place to eat something fast and delicious.

They have good empanadas. And some Venezuelan goods. Working girl is kind and fast. There's no coffee, machine was broke.

I've eaten here for a few years and the foods very good and the price is very fair. I highly recommend El Rincon De La Arepa.

I agreed that sounded like an excellent idea. Patio Tapas and Beer was supposed to have a good happy hour 5pm-7pm so we went with that. Its located in a tough spot to get a parking spot in South Mizner area, but we got lucky and landed a spot right by the front door. They had just moved to this new location from nearby a few months ago. It still felt kinda new inside in a good way. There wasn't many people there when we arrived. We were able to easily get a couple spots at their nice oaken bar. There were a handful of friendly staff there that were quick with some wine and some of their happy hour Montaditos. We tried the sangria as well which they had a large container of on the bar. We tried the potatoes, duck breast, shrimp, and Jamon iberico and manchego. Everything was darn good, the iberico possibly the best. Oh, and the Spanish omelet was a nice bite as well. It was a nice happy hour; much better than going to the gym. We will have to stop in again soon. They had alot of different plates to try.

They still have patio seating, which is smaller but slightly better views. Service is always good, attentive, and helpful. We usually come for happy hour to take advantage of their large menu of montaditos. I think they're all pretty good but our favorites are the piquillo relleno--a small, whole stuffed red pepper with goat cheese, the classic pan con tomate, churrasco, and cordero estofado. I would say those are the most flavorful ones and on our regular rotation. They also have an almond cake we always order that is imported from Spain. Served warm and à la mode, it has a little crusty edge and a very moist, dense crumb. Not too sweet. Sometimes they serve it drizzled with chocolate and I prefer it without.

Highly recommend coming here to watch your favorite team play. The beef empanadas were cooked to perfection and overstuffed, we likely could've just split one. The Picanha dinner was cooked fresh and came with so many sides, we took them a large portion for leftovers. The aji picante really stood out, we asked for more to take home. The Arepa Llanera de Picanha was also perfectly cooked & enjoyed very much. They ran out of the standard avocado that comes in it, but instead brought a side of guacamole for me to add. I really like that they did that without me having to ask. We'll definitely be back soon, to watch another match!

They had ONE working machine to take payments, and decided that after the final whistle of the game that every table should just line up to pay. They have cards on file from the time we paid for our initial deposit and still refused to let us leave. I shouldn't have to beg for 90 minutes to pay my tab. Again the food is great. The wait staff amazing, they were doing the absolute best they could with the resources they had. But the manager and owner of the restaurant need to be replaced. They had zero organizational skills and zero communication. Would never go back or recommend just for that.

I'll tell you right off the bat the entire staff was amazing, friendly, helpful and so nice. It's a beautiful restaurant actually a little smaller on the inside than we anticipated. From the outside you would think it's very large. It has great ambience and atmosphere. We had a couple of amazing cocktails. I had their fig old-fashioned, and my wife had their spritzer. Both were very good. As for the food, these were some of the best dishes that we've had at a Mediterranean restaurant We started with their octopus special and their hummus. The octopus was outstanding and had a great smoky flavor because of a smoked paprika The hummus was creamy smooth, and the pita bread that they serve with it has such a tremendously good flavor For dinner I had their duck and my wife had the fish special Dorado. The duck was hands-down the best duck I've had moist meat super crispy skin excellent orange dipping sauce, and the potatoes were a great side. My wife's fish was pan seared and came in a caper and lemon wine reduction that was out of this world. For dessert, we had their chocolate cake and it was flavorful light, airy, and delicious. 100% this is on the multiple return list. If you want great Mediterranean hit this place up. I do recommend making a reservation as we were told they can get busy.

Paul and Eli had the chargrilled skirt steak 24 rainbow cherry tomatoes, piquillo peppers, cucumber over hummus. Relatively inexpensive, served pretty quickly, and enjoyable. This is a fast casual Peruvian restaurant that reminded us of La Granja. It's located on the east side of Federal Highway. There's parking outside the free standing building. Inside, you order and pay at the counter and they call the receipt number or your food name so you will pick it up. There was only one guy at the register taking orders and payments -- in person and on the phone -- and preparing the trays. But he had it together. We got the number five combo -- grilled steak -- with yellow rice, black beans, and sweet plantains. It was enough for us to share. The steak is a flat thin one. The yellow rice and black beans were good. The plantains were nicely caramelized. They have a sauce bar. I tried the green sauce and the vinegar one. I preferred the green. He got the corn sauce and regular vinegar. They also have a chopped onion bar where he got the "hot" onions. I just got some lime wedges. Oh, and a soda also comes with the combo. Lunch for two under $20? Wow. Yes, we'd return.
