There are several rooms to choose from and bathrooms are shared among guests. I was hesitant about that aspect at first but it never was a problem. Our rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels and our bed made. Breakfast every morning was fresh and delicious. The property is close to Knoebels and everything else but is far enough away that you feel relaxed and rejuvenated after a long day at the park. The B&B is also approximately a couple hundred yards from the local hospital so in case of an emergency help is less than a minute away. We stayed for 7 nights and 8 days and enjoyed every part of our stay. Give it a go and I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

This was on our list of places but we called around to several other inns first. They were all booked so we ended up here, what luck! The Inn is a few homes down from Main Street Bloomsburg which has several restaurants and other activities to choose from. It is owned and operated by George and his wife (didn't catch her name). The place is large with several common rooms, snacks, and a wrap around porch. There is a side door and you get a key so you can come and go as you please. Our room had a comfy bed, large bathroom, and direct tv. In the morning George cooks an amazing breakfast and I can almost promise the other guests will join you. Overall, I would highly recommend this to parents of Bloomsburg students or anyone looking to get away for the weekend. As a Knoebels enthusiast I was not sure how far this place would be and it turns out it is super close. Don't think twice about staying here!

The entire place is comfortable, clean, and quiet - just what I want when I'm going on a vacation! The grounds are nice as well, and we had a nice late afternoon walking around the grounds and watching deer from the porch! The breakfasts are great, very delicious and filling, and they even cater to coffee addicts like me by having a keurig out and available all day long. Owners Linda and Bill have created a lovely and calming atmosphere throughout this historic home. Classic and uncluttered, all the rooms are spotlessly clean and appointed with comfortable beds and well chosen simple decor. Certainly not the stereotypical lace, floral wallpapered and wall-to-wall dusty antique kind of B&B. Breakfast is always delicious, as are the frequent evening cookies left on the entry table for guests to enjoy at the end if the day. Will continue to make this our home-away-from-home when visiting our Bucknell student.

Bill and Linda were extremely welcoming and friendly. The home itself is beautiful and meticulously furnished. After a day of work-related travel, coming back to soft music, a glass of sherry, and chocolates was probably among the nicest travel experiences I've had. If you're curious about the history of the home, the rooms also feature a picture book with facts about the home and pictures of all the guest rooms. I enjoyed reading it over while having a glass of tea from the Keurig in the upstairs hallway. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip through Pennsylvania... and next time I might stay longer!

Beagle's....what can we say...you're just the best in the biz! We just wrapped up our 6th year…read morestaying at Beagle's and each time it gets harder and harder to say goodbye. We have quite a large group so we rent out the entire house and Georgia and Reid could not be more accommodating! The house is perfectly quaint and immaculate. Each morning we were greeted with a hot homemade delicious breakfast with everything you can think of. All made with lots of love too :) We have a few folks with a gluten allergy and Georgia always makes sure there are options for everyone. Nothing like your kids waking you up early so they don't miss "the buffet" only to run in the dining room to greet Reid with a big hug and a few high fives. It's not unusual for us to hang around with a second cup of coffee just to listen to some of Georgia and Reid's stories about growing up in the area, the history of Beagles and just some great life advice...and if you're lucky enough Reid will play you some tunes on one of his guitars. The house has a ton of ground for the kids to play. It also has a massive wrap around porch with ample benches, swings, tables and chairs for the perfect night cap. It's only a 10 min drive to Knoebels so coming and going is incredibly easy. The Beagle's have become very much a part of our family now and we couldn't have asked for better stay. We're already booked up for next year...only 364 days to go! Love you guys!

Visited the Stegmaier for brunch over the holiday weekend. I'm not sure if it was because of the…read moreholiday, but there were only two other parties during our visit, so it felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. The wait staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. While the brunch menu left a bit to be desired, I kept it simple with two eggs and toast. The food itself wasn't the highlight of the experience--instead, it's the setting and ambiance that truly make the Stegmaier special. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated, from the vintage salt holders and silverware to the historic décor. One of the standout touches was the tableside Bloody Mary service, presented on a tray with droppers of truffle oil and hot sauce so you could customize it to your liking. The staff also encouraged us to explore the upper floors, which added to the experience. The grand piano in the entrance, the stunning chandelier lining the staircase, and the beautiful stained-glass windows made the building feel both elegant and full of history. I think dinner is probably where the Stegmaier truly shines. Because of the timing of our visit and the holiday weekend, brunch was our only option, but I imagine the evening atmosphere offers an entirely different experience.
