The price is just right for not being too close to downtown, but close enough. It was about a 5 minute drive from the wedding reception. The cottage is so cute, with a vintage looking mini fridge, a coffee maker, and eclectic decor. It definitely fits in with the Eureka springs vibes. I did get to partake in the campfires because we were so busy, but I loved the option and the firewood was there ready to go. I chatted with the owners some before we left, and they were just the nicest people. We will for sure be back and next time I am making s'mores over the campfire!

It isn't a big resort style mega hotel that strives to be 5 stars...in fact, it runs screaming in the opposite direction of corporate branding and upselling. It is a small, modern, tasteful bit of the picturesque and quintessential American Roadtrip inn. The rooms are color coordinated, clean, and thoughtfully friendly to both the guest and environment (and high quality without attacking the pocketbook!). And, while I checked in late, the owner brought us to the room, explained everything, pointed everything out, and was simply the nicest owner I have met outside of small towns in Europe! What was planned to be a roadtrip with eldest kiddo has turned out to be a magnet, and I hope to return to this beautiful part of the US and FIVE STAR accommodations as soon as possible.

We really appreciated the coffee and the huge thoughtful gift basket filled with great snacks and fruit. It felt very VIP. The refrigerator was stocked with beverages and bottled water, and they replenished it daily, which was such a nice touch. Added to that was wine glasses, a fireplace and candles. Each room had its own smart TV. There were also plenty of towels and shower amenities, and the huge double shower was especially nice! The bed was very comfortable, and we were extremely grateful for the awesome air conditioning, especially with how hot it was outside. One of our favorite features was the beautiful wraparound porch -- such a nice place to sit and relax in the morning and evening. The hotel's front desk team and manager, Olivia, are a massive bright spot in an otherwise terrible hotel. The bellhop, Marcos, was also incredibly friendly and very helpful. Without those two people this place would be absolute trash. I can't in good conscience give them 1 star, even though they deserve it. The overall service is abysmal. The bar staff stood there talking for nearly 3 1/2 minutes right in front of me before acknowledging my presence. This was at 2pm and they weren't busy. They were actually having a conversation about their recent break and their plans for after work. As far as the room, it's old and things creak - which is likely part of its charm. But the beds suck and this is not part of the charm. The balcony door doesn't close correctly so it's hot as hell inside when it's hot outside. This is also because the AC unit can't keep up. But at least the plumbing doesn't work. First thing I did was blow my nose and threw a small bit of folded toilet paper in the toilet and flushed it. It didn't flush. Spoke with the hotel and they said it would be fixed. When we returned the toilet was still not working properly. Amazingly, these issues weren't even close to the worst part. The restaurant staff were absolute trash. I wish I remembered the barista's name from the coffee bar in the hotel's main dining room. I went down to get my wife and I a coffee as we were checking out. She barely acknowledges me. When she finally does she rudely tells me that she has to take care of the dining room guests first and that I must wait. Given my experience with other staff, I just told her not to worry and started to walk off. She called me back and said she could get to me after the order she was currently finishing. I'm guessing she thought I was headed to complain by the immediate change in her attitude. It then took her over 13 min to make two lattes. I came back to pay and she rudely instructed me to go to the front desk to break my $100 bill to pay. I came back to pay, and 2 10oz (approximate) coffees were almost $19. This hotel sucks, it's not haunted except by shitty service. And it is so overpriced. One balcony room was $335 + $35 for early check-in - shitty service included.

The apartment was so clean, and the perfect amount of space for me and my family. The owner, Pat, was so kind. Anything we could need, she provided. The location was perfect for walking into town, and all of the authentic stained glass windows were beautiful. Due to COVID, we didn't get to experience the awesome buffet breakfast, but we did get some cute muffins and handmade biscuits and gravy! (Yum!) The building does sit on the side of a steep mountain, and that means lots of stairs!! It was a fabulous workout, although a little inconvenient for my great Aunt, who has a wonky hip, but nothing we couldn't handle! Also, there were cats on the property! Super sweet babies! They made my trip even betg All in all, a fabulous stay. Would totally recommend! As long as you understand boundaries and not being disrespectful to the room and owner. Shame on y'all for trashing a room. Treat the places you stay with respect and clean up after yourselves.
