Pizza and atmosphere were nice, enjoyed Basin hotel balcony a bit more if time only allows for 1 or the other

Stayed here with my mom for one night on a recent road trip. We arrived just after check in time and the check in process was fast and easy. The hotel is old and beautiful and really interesting to wander while looking at the cool old furniture and historic items. There is a restaurant and bar in the hotel so you don't have to leave it you don't want to. There is also a shuttle to town. The ghost tour was fun and not scary. Unfortunately we didn't have any hauntings during the night.

This is a tricky one. Love the hotel- the vibe, the views, the grounds, definitely feels like stepping back into time. Skybar restaurant on the top floor was convenient and great food and service. There's a shuttle to town or walking paths right from the hotel. The room was tiny (king with balcony). The balcony was great though! One side of bed is pretty much on the wall so no night stand or easy way out of bed if you're on the side. Tiny bathroom also. All things I can live with for the greatness of the other parts of the hotel, but only if the price for the two nights wasn't as high. We have stayed in other historical hotels and this was the most we've paid for two nights. So- either lower prices or nicer rooms and I would give 4 or 5 stars.

Amazing, unique and historic hotel, in the beautiful Ozark mountains of Eureka Springs. Something for everybody and a pet friendly hotel we had an amazing time and enjoyed the restaurants the phenomenal New Moon Spa and the various hotel activities, including yoga and the haunted house tours!

We did not stay at this hotel, but we did eat at the sky bar and go on the ghost tour. It was beautiful and eery, although like others said, this is a great hotel if you enjoy historic places. If you are looking for luxury, this is not it (I don't know why you would come to rural arkansas and look for luxury though...) It was so charming to us, and we love our diy ghost hunts!

We had a ball on our tour with EMF! He did a great job keeping us engaged and interested. The tour started on the fourth floor with a brief history of the hotel and city-tying them together nicely. As we went to each floor we were told of one ghost story or another. Since it is a real, operating hotel we did not expect to go into any rooms as some other reviews mentioned their disappointment in. If you do want something more hands on, they do offer a seance style tour. However, I would stick with EMF, he's great! The tour ends in the morgue with some really neat artifacts from the hotel-definitely check this one out!

The inside is charming and a little spooky. The front of the building looks fairly clean and kept up. Outside at the back, however, could use a little work. The landscaping was untidy and grass and weeds were growing up a bit. We did get to see and pet Jasper and Ozzie, though. They were cute. The room we went into to start the ghost tour smelled like an old band room. If you know, you know. Like there was a water problem that soaked into the carpet or something. It just smelled....musty.

We did not stay at this unique hotel, but ate breakfast there. The stuffed French Toast was absolutely wonderful. It was the best French Toast my wife and I have ever experienced.

Ghost tour was remarkable. Loved the sense of slow pace at the Crescent. Would love to go back.

Pasta is below average. Dessert wasn't baked, tried to send it back but they argued about it. Won't be back

Is the south penthouse haunted?? The room number is 501 btw and I'm just curious if you know anything or have had any experiences?

218, 5500, 419 and 101 are the haunted rooms. I spent the night in 419 but felt nor saw anything. I woke up at 3am and walked all over the hotel and still saw nothing. I was disappointed but it was a good experience. Everyone should give it a chance… Read more

Great place to stay in Eureka Springs. We'll stay here if/when we come back for sure…read more I really liked the ability to select a very specific room. We are happy to sacrifice space in exchange for specific amenities like a large jacuzzi and were very pleased with the Queen Suite that we ended up getting (with a nice view of the mountains/the Jesus statue). The room was comfortable and clean. If I had any complaints, the in-suite coffee was underwhelming and the TV was kind of oddly situated, but that's very much a minor issue. The rest of the hotel was interesting and fun to explore as well. If we'd had more time, we would have checked out the bar in the lobby. The hotel staff were outstanding. Andrew(?) and Co. made a point to learn our names and were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and on-point with the valet parking service. Just a really good experience and good vibes.

We booked the first-floor suite in the New Orleans Hotel for two nights. I have stayed at this…read morehotel many times over the years, and it was fine. Last night, there was a party with a live band (particularly terrible drummer BTW) right under our room until after midnight. It was so loud in our room that we couldn't watch a movie, talk to each other, or sleep. We could only put in earplugs and wait for it to be over. I could still hear all the lyrics through the earplugs, that's how loud it was. We are leaving a day early, even though we have already paid for tonight's room, because last night was so miserable. The hotel has effectively made this first floor room unusable on nights when the club right under it is open (W-Sa), and we were certainly not informed when we booked at their full price rate that this VERY LOUD party would be happening basically IN OUR ROOM UNTIL AFTER MIDNIGHT. Just ridiculous. I would not book the New Orleans Hotel first-floor suite again and would not recommend it to anyone else. As far as what the hotel should do to improve this problem: do not rent this suite out on nights when you are having loud parties right under it, and refund my money for this unusable hotel room.
