The lady that manages the location is truly a gem to speak with. She is so helpful and willing to help her patrons with folding and washing. She also provides change if needed. Just used LT today and can not recommend it more highly…read more Here's how it went: --Booked on the LT website yesterday, requesting pickup today and dropoff today. --left a suitcase of clothes at the bell desk --LT picked up the suitcase and texted us to confirm --LT cleaned and folded our clothes, wrapped them in a plastic bag, and put the bag back in our suitcase --LT delivered the suitcase back to our hotel and texted to let us know it was there We were all ready to spend a couple hours of our vacation at a local laundromat, but spent about 20 extra pounds to be able to enjoy our morning in London. We were charged 2.50 for using a credit card and the attendant put the coins in the machine for us. The place is very clean, especially for the amount of traffic. There is a park nearby with a coffee/tea stand while you wait. The attendant is very aware of machines and who uses what. The laundry was safe when we stepped away. I highly recommend this place for your laundry day.

It's also got a very cool sign, which seems to shift with the wind, each part glinting in the weak London sun light. They have been around for ages, provide a very good service and all the machines are in good, working order. There are also quite a few shops and restaurants very close by, so if you want to pop out for a few minutes to order a takeaway with the new lover (or potential axe murderer) you just met while drying your Sunday PJs, the option remains open.

It took 20 minutes and £10 for a large washer to wash all of our clothes and £5 for 40 minutes in the dryer (recommended by the helpful staff). I felt this was a fair price as many other reviews locally listed excessive pricing as a concern. I felt at ease; it wasn't too busy on a summer Friday afternoon and we popped down the street to have a coffee while we waited. Baskets available for convenience inside. If you need to purchase liquid or powder detergent, it's £1.50 (coins or card). There is an employee there if you need anything, she greeted me when I walked in and explained the pricing on the machines. They offer pressing services for an extra cost, but you might have to wait a day.

The owners are sneaky. While vacationing in London we went here to do laundry. Two of the washing machines I was using broke mid-cycle. The owners laughed and told me to move the clothes into another machine (after waiting 18 mins and over 7 euros later). I told him to give me money to which he only provided 5 euros. He asked me to put the rest of the money into the machine. While I was there I saw two other machines break mid cycle. The laundromat is also filthy and the neighborhood is slightly creepy.
