As I walked in the laundromat I noticed the laundry attendant and about 3 people who were in the laundry drying at the time.  I was currently listening to music on my wired head phones and putting my laundry in the washing machine when I noticed the  attendant which is a woman of Spanish descent race was playing her personal music very loudly pretty much at club volume.  I kindly walked over and asked the young lady if she could turn down the music and I quickly observed that there was a language barrier. I used hand gestures and then the young lady responded "musica". Yes , and I motioned if she could turn it down ?! She then responded "no", threw her hands up and fanned me off and proceeded go back to her task. I then asked for the manager and she responded "manager" and again fanned me off while saying no.   Every Spanish person that walked in or out of the laundromat she  complained and pointed at me. At this point by the 2nd person she told about me I began to feel uncomfortable and threatened. She then spoke to a third person who she the had call the cops.   Conveniently prior to the cops arriving , the music volume went to a more reasonable volume. The same way she was able to speak to every spanish person to complain she could've asked them to translate to better understand and or resolve the issue.   The manager arrived shortly after apologized and provided me a credit. Still feeling like a unsatisfied customer but hopefully the manager takes heed to my experience and see that he either replaces her or see that she learns the importance of good customer service and respect.

They are retraining their employee and I've given the establishment a second shot. I've updated my rating taking into account the customer service and will update the review with the results of my second wash & fold Original Review: Clothes were folded weirdly, in thirds as opposed to half-then-half like myself and every other laundromat has done. So I had to refold to get it to fit properly on top of my other clothes in the closet... At which point I discovered clothes were not properly folded (were completely wrinkled before folding) so I had to iron or steam all my work clothes. Not much point in a wash and fold service if you have to iron and refold your clothes. One shirt looked like it was dropped on the ground and had some heavy dark industrial grease on it. Complete waste of money, but worst of all, a waste of my valuable time. Go elsewhere

They have multiple washer size ranging from $2 (8 machine), $2.25 (8 machine), $3.50 (3 machine), $4.50 (2 machine), $5.50 (1 machine) and plenty of dryers that are 25 cents for 7 mins. They also have 4 stations for folding and plenty of seats for sitting while you wait. Owner is very nice! Most laundromat owners would not change your dimes and nickels for quarters!! I think the only thing missing is giving customers free wi-fi access while they wait.

The two women who were on duty were ineffective and just listened to complaints and shrugged their shoulders. The folding stations were dirty and strewn with debris. Everyone sticks to themselves, it's not loud, it's super duper quiet like a library which is cool. I doubt anyone actually wants to be here so that works for me. As I'm writing this review there's more people slowly wheeling their beat up, passed down from generation to generation carts into the laundromat. I'm not into crowded places so I hope everything goes smoothly. There's plenty of washers & dryers. There's a self serve money machine to exchange for quarters. It's expensive to wash clothes. It's $4.75 for the triple washer, $3.50 for the medium washer & $2 for the small. It's .25c per 7 mins for the dryer....YIKES There's tvs, an employee who'll assist if need be, there's also a parking lot on the side of laundryland. The downside of this place is that there's no ac! The beverage vending machine had reasonably priced drinks in it like 1$ water bottles but I didn't buy any since I wasn't thirsty at the moment but it's nice to know they're cheap. Also cool how it takes debit cards as well as cash. Staff is helpful and nice. Overall it's a good laundromat that I recommend trying.

After so much time has passed, LOAD is still claiming they are correct in BLAMING ME for delivering my laundry to the WRONG DOOR which resulted it in being stolen. Not only is it NOT LEGALLY my building's fault ( Or mine) since my agreement was with LOAD (not my building) to ensure my laundry was delivered to MY DOOR, not a door NEAR MINE OR A DOOR THAT LOOKED LIKE MINE. Customers DO NOT have to take my review to be true. My original review is still up and has screen shots of how they asked me change my review if they compensated me for THIER ERROR. All future prospective customers have to do is look at 99% of all of their other reviews to see how awful they are. Also, I never got a full refund for the cost of my belongings, I received a portion of what my belongings were valued at. Bottom line: If you value your clothes, DO NOT SEND THEM HERE. Buyer beware, this place is unethical and will continue to bother you for months. To make certain they stop, I will contact the Better Business Bureau and report them. That should finally and hopefully put this issue to rest. Also, I use RINSE now and they are prompt, arrive when promised and have not lost a single item once and offer free bags if you don't reach their weight level. They still do a good job with the laundry, but there have been too many "kinks" for my liking…read more 1) delivery mishap 1 - I have indicated several times to deliver to my door at a specific date and time, but they haven't heeded this because apparently, they deliver "whenever" if you live in a doorman building. Part of why I get this service is so that I don't have to lug all my pounds of laundry with my skinny arms... and even if I noted this several times in the order, it's gone ignored until after it's been dropped off. What's the point of putting a note in your order if it goes ignored several times? 2) delivery mishap 2 - delay. Initially I was told that it's because my credit card info was updated too late. When I questioned them about why they said "you're all set" without confirming/denying a delay, they then said it's because the deliveries go out early and they take the steps to load the delivery vehicle even with those whose payments aren't confirmed. Then why didn't they tell the driver? If they couldn't reroute why couldn't they tell me? They didn't contact me about a delay until 10pm (my delivery window was 9-10) and that was only AFTER I emailed them. After I question this, they then tell me that there was traffic and an issue at a previous delivery location. Which is all fine (this is NYC after all, and stuff happens), but I don't appreciate the changing story. One plus was that the driver was super nice and apologetic. 3) twice my laundry wasn't all completely folded. They did give me a credit in my account for this, but I thought it went without saying that all of my items should be folded (unless I asked for hang dry)? Why was this even an issue... twice? I may or may not use this service again... it is too bad because I did really like using them, but there have just been too many "kinks" and I'll have to rethink booking with them in the future.

The machines are pretty fancy too- you can use both card/cash to load funds! They have a wide variety of machines ranging from $3.50-7.50 for the XL washing machines. Drying is 0.25 per 8 minutes. Lastly, they do have drop off service but I usually do my own. Maybe one day i'll give it a try.

This community needed a laundromat but not at this expense, they need to hire more workers or change management. We deserve better for our money. This topic will be on the next agenda.
