This laundromat is the worst I've ever used. I had my clothes picked up for cleaning, and when they came back they were riddled with fabric softener grease stains. Extremely upset, I called and politely asked for something to be done since the clothes that were stained were brand new and had neither been washed nor worn. I asked for compensation for the damage and to be refunded the cost of the wash which in total came under $100 which for someone living in New York, is not that much to give for ruining clothes. The response I received back was absurd stating they were not at fault because they did not think they did anything wrong. You may not THINK you did anything wrong but I actually KNOW that my clothes did not leave my apartment stained with fabric softener. TL;DR: don't go here. Saw a 5 star review for this location before & decided to try it out since I'm sick and tired of going to the local laundromat (see my Yelp reviews on laundromats in Ridgewood). I HATE lugging the clothing to the laundromat, giving money to the owner of the closest one considering he doesn't use A/C on hot summer nights and once nearly killed us b/c of not having the door near the dryers open when it was killer hot there (we were waiting on clothes to try) and I despise having to sort the laundry immediately or knowing my clothes will be permanently infested with deep wrinkles. I thought "Why not let someone else do this considering our time & labor are valuable + I'm not He-Woman?" Did my research, saw good things about this service and decided to finally bite the bullet and go here once our laundry card for the local laundromat ran out. Tons of people I know send their laundry out but I feared the monthly cost killing us financially. Your first order is 15% off if you're a new customer & you'll also get a free laundry bag. I found out this happens even if you forget to give the guy your coupon like I did. It turns out doing this was very, very smart. First off, no need for me to lug heavy laundry from my second floor apartment or make my husband do it (the driver will come to your door & not make you go downstairs with your laundry; why can't postal services do that?). Second, you can provide your own laundry detergent and the like for them to use. Third, even if the 15% off hadn't applied the cost was far more reasonable than I expected (the per pound cost is the cheapest I've seen). Fourth, they will pick up and drop off in Ridgewood (it feels like no one ever services Ridgewood so this was a welcome change). Finally, the staff is extremely friendly, answered my questions without making me feel stupid or like an intrusion and my laundry came out wonderfully without us having to fold and sort it. This is an example of something you're better off spending the money on if you don't have your own washer/dryer at home. Be aware that the time you select is a range for when they will arrive (for example, 11 doesn't mean they will arrive precisely at 11 but within that hour). The driver even contacted me when my clothes were done and offered to bring them back early, which I accepted. Greatly appreciated. I wish we had started doing this a long time ago. Since losing valuable daytime because of my work hours, 2-3 hours a week at the laundromat became a "no way I'll waste time on watching my clothes dry and fold". Pros: Online delivery request. Pay by card Delivers up to the apartment (not to the door like other places - wth?) Cons: Deliveries are often skipped or forgotten. I have to text the guy to double check that someone is actually coming and communication is always a struggle. The drop-off time window is meaningless. Most recently, they dropped off a 6-8 pm delivery at 11:30 at night. With no notice. I separate out delicates that are air dry, and they don't air dry them. Wool sweater? Ruined? Expensive lingerie? Disregarded. OR, sometimes, they give me back the air dry stuff, still wet in the delicates bag. Hm. I live in a 4th floor walk up and work 10 hour days on the reg, so I love a delivery service, but I'll be on the lookout for a new one. read more

Being a working mother of a 10 year old girl, it's great to have a service that comes to your house and picks up the laundry, and drops it back off next day!! Terrible service. First, they missed the 2 hour delivery window (4-6pm) by over 2 hours, so I had to wait an extra day because I had to leave for work. On top of this they lost half of my laundry, refused to acknowledge that they lost my clothes, and then refused to speak with me further about rectifying the situation. These guys are great! My clothing comes back pristine, it only takes one day to get my stuff back, everything is folded so nicely that nothing is ever wrinkled, they'll use your own detergent if you ask, the guys who pickup and drop-off have a very friendly vibe, they'll handle special requests like air-drying for certain items, etc. I despise doing laundry and will go a scandalously long time without doing it because I HATE it. In the past I've had to Facetime with friends while I did it, or it would never get done. Hate. But now, the problem is semi-solved. I still can't afford to send my laundry out all the time (and I especially can't always justify it since there's a laundromat right across the street from me!), but when I'm feeling too downtrodden to deal with it, I call them up. t never, ever was so satisfied with the various vendors I have used, that I felt moved enough for me to use my valuable time to give an "atta-boy" to any one of them.. Laundry Xpress is so exceptional in the service they provide that they rate an exception to this elitist rule. By the time my husband gave me the number for LX I was DONE!! Done with trying Laundry Service after Laundry Service and finding they all lacked any type of work ethic that would fit with what I needed. If they couldn't deliver on a regular basis then they were too inflexible to work with a routine that would change from time to time. There were always unexpected charges that changed every few weeks. And while I appreciate the various additions to my wardrobe of clothes that weren't mine, I had to wonder what stuff from MY laundry was ending up in various households within my zip code. Laundry Express was such a refreshing change. They worked with me endlessly until we were able to hammer out a schedule that worked for me. They are efficient, reasonably priced, infinitely patient, and the quality of laundry service which they render is beyond amazing. There is never a gain or loss of clothes. I get back exactly what they pick up. The clothes are washed, dried folded and delivered with virtually no bump in my routine. If I could hug the building where Laundry Express is located, I totally would!! I recently moved to Williamsburg. After trying different laundry services, I was extremely impressed at the customer service and quality of their work. Laundryxpress was recommended to me by my girlfriend. They offered 1st time discounts and gave me a free laundry bag. I now give them my dry cleaning as well. I would highly recommend them. Why spend time hauling the laundry up and down a walk up apartment to the coin operated self service to spend 3 hours in a laundromat when you can it done for a few extra bucks, They provide laundry wash and fold, dry cleaning and shirt wash and press service all delivered with a one day turn around. Their rates are competitive queens prices which are very favorable when compared to other services located in my area in Williamsburg. Thier prices for comforters and blankets are the best. IF I could give this company no stars I would. Two weeks ago, I used this service to have my clothes washed and they completely dropped the ball. When my clothes were delivered, they delivered my clothes MIXED in with others. I was so LIVID that I ordered the delivery person to go back to his car and get me the rest of the bags that he had. As I'm going through them, I realized that my clothes were in other people's bags as well. I was fishing my clothes out of other people's bags as well as taking out thongs, bras, panties, socks, towels, rags, and bath mats THAT WERE NOT MINE. There were even rubber gloves (assuming the gloves they used to fold the clothes) that were found in my bag. I was refunded immediately but it still doesn't take away from the lack of care and regard for my clothing that I trusted them with. Save your money, time, and articles of clothing.
