After reading the reviews I'm beginning to wonder if I'm going to have future issues or if my deal was a fluke. We found a vehicle on their website and called to see if there was a deal pending/ was it on the lot? We talked to Lucy in sales, she confirmed it was. We drove 2 hours and she got the vehicle for us and off we went. We really liked the car. We've been looking for about 6 months at several dealerships. We go to negotiate the out the door price. It was pretty much spot on which I had researched and knew they likely would not negotiate much. However they didn't have random fees like other dealerships we've dealt with. I had one offer $395 for a braking thing that blinked 4 times for the car behind you to know your stopping. They have those already; they're called brake lights. They refused to remove it. Anyway, this dealership did not have any other fees other that tax and expected state and dealer fees. Once I negotiated the out the door, we talked trade in. I knew my car was worth 6-8k. I was told it had a lot of uncleared codes on it. Whether or not that was a ploy, I did get the lower end of trade in but still enough for me. Making our financed amount where I wanted to be. So far I've had zero issues and hopefully it stays that way. Lucy was non pressuring, informative and factual. We enjoyed working with her. It was the biggest dealership I've seen in my life with people everywhere. I could see where some people could get a lemon salesman or overlooked. read more

My 2014 Chevy Spark was brought into the service department on November 28th for a diagnostic test as the transmission is under warranty, per GM's website. As of today, December 10th, it has been there for 12 days and I've been contacted, twice, with no resolution or time frame about when it will be repaired. I've had to rent a car for most of those days and am extremely disappointed and am at a loss as to how to proceed. This is part of the issue that women have when dealing with car repairs, taken advantage of and not being treated respectfully. If I were a man none of this would have happened. At the very least they should have kept me in the loop and offered me a vehicle to drive at their expense. Never, ever again will I deal with this place. Discourteous and completely lacking in professionalism. These people don't sell cars, they let you buy them, but only on their terms. The sales manager does not know how to communicate. He cant answer questions succinctly. He doesn't care if you like his "deal". He just wants you to give him your money and stfu. I will never set foot in that place again. I'm telling six of my friends to do the same and recommending that they tell six more, and they tell six more, etc until these car pirates take the chip off of their shoulders and start to act like businessmen. Worst experience we have ever had buying a car. We bought a brand new suv and immediately started having transmission issues. When talking to Laura Buick they are rude and inconsiderate. They almost acted like it was our fault when the car is brand new! They can't get us in for weeks so we are stuck without a vehicle as they said they had no loaner vehicles. There is nothing good to say about this dealership. I purchased a truck back in December and it's been nothing but problems. Right after signing the papers for the car the running board on the driver side fell off. The first thing they asked me was "would you like us to take the other one off or leave it on" they didn't even offer to replace it. Just hours after having the car it wouldn't pump gas. I scheduled an appointment to get that fixed along with getting the windshield replaced. They had my car for almost a month to fix the gas tank and when I went to go pick it up they "forgot" to replace the windshield. They didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. After a few months of having the car I went to fill up gas and it starts leaking out of the bottoms of the car. Long story short when I took it to a different dealership to get it looked at Laura didn't put the gas tank back on correctly and damaged the filler neck along with not even solving the original problem which was the fuel pump. I tried calling Laura about the situation and no one was of any help and the managers didn't want to do anything about it even with all the paperwork as evidence. I could have gotten seriously hurt with the errors they made fixing the gas tank. Do not buy from this dealership. They are rude, have horrible customer service and only care about getting your money. A refrigerator box with wheels is more reliable than anything they offer to sell read more

Took the fun out of car buying Drove 11 1/2 hours for a deal we made over the phone Got there and the games begin. They stated my moonroof in my 2015 ford platinum was not working properly plus several other issues "they found" Manager was an ass in responses and even yelled at me after I went outside to check what they said was wrong. The salesman and manager then began playing good cop bad cop. Initially deducted $4000 then it was $2500......games I should have just left but was exhausted after such a long drive and just wanted to get a deal done. Paperwork and cleaning of new vehicle is also a very long process...too long, expect about 4 hours Be aware that if you get a deal on the phone don't expect it to be there when you arrive. Had the worst experience as an out of state buyer. Drove 10 hours with my family and 2 toddlers to trade my vehicle in and had a set deal in place. Got here and the two employees who took my truck out to make sure everything ran correctly, romped my truck and dropped the gas mileage per gallon and dropped my miles available to come in and tell me that they are dropping my trade in 10k for a part that is $450. Nick O, Bobby and David did nothing but run my credit a ton of times, waste mine and my family 10 hours of time driving out of state each direction and waste my money coming up here after I offered several times if there was anything else I could do or send or give extra pictures. They don't have any of their stuff together and the first time "they got me approved" was for the wrong financed amount. So they had to rerun my credit for the correct amount. They are time and money wasters. Would have chosen to take my family on a better vacation than wasting money on a room and gas in st. Louis. So thanks Laura gmc for wasting people's time and money. You make everything sound like it's good to go and there's no problems until you get down to sign your name and they end up giving you the shaft. Miles per gallon were at 17.1 and miles to empty were at 46. Got back in to leave and miles per gallon went down to 16.6 and miles to empty are at 22. My wife told me that it felt as though since she wasn't going to be on the truck, and because we had our kids she was invited twice to go sit in the "vip" lounge where there were tv's that were not on, that she was not welcome to hear any information that was being shared with me. Quite honestly, the overall experience of buying my first car was not as happy as i expected. I'll be 100% transparent to save someone else the trouble. I decided to buy a NEW 2024 GMC 2500 Denali Ultimate. As well as the truck came with 35'' nittos and a lift kit. My dream car for a 24 year, and yes you may be thinking totally irresponsible to spend that much money on a truck, but I have the luxury of living at home and have been saving since freshman year of college. So I could afford this truck and also pre-pay to hopefully pay this off in 3 years. Now onto the disappointing side of the buying now that you have some credible background because reviews can seem fake. I inquired about this truck in early September, when i first went out to take a look at the trucks i was finally greeted by a salesman who seemed less than interested in taking a young kid out to see what he may have been looking for online. Put a bad taste in my mouth as if he thought I was not serious, which i can understand from his point of view that someone my age may just be wasting his time. I than later brought out my parents, because they could help me with making sure it was a quality purchase and the entire mood around the visit changed for him. Now we get to this past Saturday the day i'm going to buy the truck, everything goes rather smoothly, i understand there are long waits when buying a vehicle, no complaints there. But when we finally finish all the paperwork, I get told that the LED light bar that I added as an accessory was not installed and to comeback. Disappointing because i just spent close to 100k on a truck and they did not feel confident installing the part (i appreciate them not installing it wrong, just was disappointed). After that, I was told the truck was finishing up getting cleaned and would be ready shortly. In my excitement and not really paying attention, did not notice the truck was actually not fully cleaned. Keep in mind this is a NEW truck. Yes it may have sat on the lot for sometime, but it had 35 miles on it. So when I get home and my father takes a look at it we noticed that the plastic on the exterior for the top of the truck bed and the plastic around the mirrors is faded, as if it had been sitting on the lot for sometime in the weather. You would expect that a NEW truck, worth that much money, would be fully detailed and brought back to life prior to leaving the lot. I put that on me for not bringing it up there. But then we get back home, and we notice the car is misaligned. I'm not a car guy, but when you stood at the back of the truck, it was leaning to the left. So i put in a call to the salesman i did business with a let him know. He seemed to be in a rush to get me off the phone, sort of rude if you will but none the less i got it scheduled to get fixed. I didn't even ask them to clean the truck, just fix the alignment and install the LED tailgate light. I got the truck back yesterday after going out there and having to pay for the gas of the courtesy truck even though i shouldn't have had to go back out 35 mins their way to get this done. None the less i paid for the gas, while wasting my own diesel for the truck. Now i get the truck back, look from the back and it LOOKS right. So i start driving it home and it is still pulling left. Thinking i'm crazy i wait til I get home to then TAKE OUT A TAPE MEASURE and make sure it's perfect or within a reasonable variance. Turns out no, the truck was not aligned correctly, or the lift is messed up, or the suspension (I'm not sure). But either way the tires (comparing left to right) vary from about 1.5'' to 2.15'' either side give or take. Which makes the car look slightly lop sided and also pull left. Extremely disappointed. Would recommend checking all these things out prior to leaving the lot for the first time. read more

My son purchased a 2023 Chevy Silverado back in May remotely. With all the pictures it looked like a beautiful truck. He made the deal and the truck was delivered to us. We noticed when the truck was on the trailer and when the driver pulled it off the trailer there were some scuffs in the paint not shown in the pictures, the driver's side mirror was broken and the floor mats shown in sales pictures were not in the truck. We contacted Aaron, his salesman and explained what we saw. His response was he would be right on it and would talk to his parts guy and let us know. When we didn't hear anything and got no response from multiple attempts to contact him, I reached out to his manager. I was told it would take care of it and he saw everything that was talked about in the computer. On July 16 they did finally have a set of floor mats and a paint stick delivered to our local Chevy dealer for my son. When we asked about the driver side mirror we were told there was not mention of the mirror. I tried contacting the sales manager again and when I couldn't get a response I asked for the next level of manager and was given to Brendan Quinlin. I explained everything to him and he assured me he was going to take care of everything. My local Chevy dealer finally got the ok the order the mirror in beginning of September. I was told Laura would pay for the mirror and the installation of it. My local Chevy dealer will not do anything until they get payment. I've called Brendan multiple times to be told he's waiting for my dealer to call him, my dealer says they've tried calling Brendan and have left messages. That every time they have called it's forwarded to voicemail. 2 weeks ago I called my local dealer to be told still no word from Laura, they tried to call again and it went straight to voicemail. I called down and got a hold of Brendan, he said he was going to call my dealer immediately and get this taken care of and they still have not heard from Brendan. Taking over 5 months to get this taken care is ridiculous. We informed Laura Chevy back in May of our friend who recommended them to us because they had bought there and had a great experience so we thought their referral program would be nice. Our friend has never received his $100 referral like Laura Chevy claims they do. We have been telling everyone about how great the sales experience was but now we are tell them about how they keep their word and service. Would like to do more future business with them but with experiences like this, I'm skeptical! read more

DO NOT SHOP AT THIS DEALERSHIP!!!! I had Purchased a 2019 from this dealership with only 40,000 something miles on it. Well upon test driving it there was a blinker issue. I advises the sales guy (Bobby Spurlock) who was helping me and he said just an out bulb. No bulbs were out. He was in the middle of helping another couple while helping me at the same time so I didnt feel like i had his full attention. I took it home that night and my husband said it was a wire issue. I live 1 hr and 30 mins away from this dealership. I drove back a few days late for them to look at it. They said I needed to keep It over night. They gave me a loaner vehicle and I drove back home. A few days later I got to pick it up. On the way home, I started hearing this noise. When I made a left turn the right front tire made a noise. I called my local auto shop and they diagnosed it with badly damaged break caliper. Upon further inspection, they noticed that the break calipers badly damaged the tire rod and the break pads. They stated they were shocked the dealership got away with selling a car in this condition due to it being a safety issue. Today I called the sales manager (Rick? I believe) to make him aware of the issues I have been through and how I was not to happy and told him they need to inspect the vehicles better. I did advise I will be reporting this to someone as the problems I was having were major safety issues. The sales manager in a rude voice stated "If you called to just threaten me to report the dealership then just do it" so I just hung up on him because I was to stressed and upset to be yelled at by someone who SOLD ME A UNSAFE VEHICLE!!!! I put down a pretty good down payment on this vehicle expecting it to be in great condition. I did make a report to the BBB and I hope they will honor the outcome of my request. If not I will be contacting the Attorney General and possibly taking this further if I have to. If you look at other reviews on Google about this place, a lot of people have the same issues. The purchasing experience was decent. Prices and salesman was on par with other dealerships. My problem with this place is the warranties they sell you. I bought a new 2019 Sierra in Oct. on 2019. Along with the truck I purchased a paint/interior protection plan. In 2020 I already had paint peeling, not chipping, off of my bumper. The dealership would not honor the peeling paint repairs and classified it as road debris damage. I have seen road debris chip paint and bumpers but this isn't anything similar to that type of damage. The second, and most recent, incident involves the 60m/60k mile extended bumper to bumper warranty I purchased with the truck. The trucks torque converter came apart the weekend before thanksgiving this year and sent metal into my transmission which is now getting replaced. I thought in purchasing the warranty I added 60k miles of warranty to the vehicle but have now found out that is not the case. I have been informed that the warranty they sell through GM Financial runs concurrent with the vehicle's factory warranty. I specifically remember asking the salesman for an information packet before I agreed to the warranty and was told he couldn't find one and showed me the laminated card on his desk which contained very minimal i formation but I trusted him. My mistake. Now that I have an issue, I have reached out to the dealership for a copy of the warranty benefits and contract. It has been 2 days since I asked for the information and I still have no response from them. If you want to buy a vehicle from them I wouldn't turn you away but if you want to buy snake oil you can get it cheaper on Amazon. read more

I was in the market for a 2025 GMC 2500 HD, and Laura had the one I wanted. I called the dealership and asked for the sales department. I never received an answer or a return call after I left my phone number. I called again on December 20th and spoke with Wade I told him what truck on his website I was interested in. I asked him his best cash price and he told me what was listed was his best price. I agreed to pay the website price, and he took my information for the paperwork. He asked me for a $1000.00 deposit as he said it was a dealership policy to hold a vehicle. I explained to him I would not be able to pick the truck up until December 28th, he said no problem, the $1000.00 will hold it for me until I could pick up the truck. I gave the finance department my credit card information for the deposit. So, the next day after my deposit was made Wade called and told me I would have to wire the remainder of the truck purchase price that day. I told him that was not part of our deal from the previous day. He stated that's dealership policy and his sales manager told him to call me and have the remainder of the purchase price wired. I told Wade I won't wire the remainder of the purchase price without putting my eyes on the truck and a test drive. I explained to Wade I would be paying with a check, and he informed me, we don't take checks, it is company policy. He told me that the dealership had over 3 million dollars in bad checks out. I told him I would get a certified check, and he said they won't take it either, the money would have to be wired. I explained to him that a certified check is guaranteed funds and there is no way it could be bad. He then told me they would accept a check if you lived within 60 miles of the dealership. I explained I live Southwest of Poplar Bluff, Mo. He told me I live to far from the dealership for a check or cashiers check. I asked, "why did you tell me you don't take checks but now you would if I lived 60 miles or less from the dealership?" I told him the name of the bank I use, and they have one less than 30 miles from the dealership. He told me it's because I don't live in a zip code within the 60-mile radius. I told Wade that it sounds like I can't satisfy any of your dealership policy's so now what can I do to get the truck. He told me he would talk to his sales manager and get back with me. Now it is December 21st and Wade's sales manager calls me and wants to know what he can do to make this deal happen. I explained the entire situation to his sales manager and explained to him that Wade had told me he had already spoken to him. He was quick to let me know that Wade never approached him about the transaction, and he was hearing of this for the first time. I explained to him that I made every effort to purchase this truck and received pushback from every direction I approached it from. He kept telling me they are the largest GMC dealership in the nation and have 3 million in bad checks. I was exhausted with the entire process. He told me they would make an exception and take a certified check for the remainder of the purchase price. I explained I was frustrated and disappointed with the entire process and was not going to proceed as I was concerned about what surprise I would get when I went to pick up my new truck. I asked for my $1000.00 back and he told me it would be 10 business days. Now its Jan 10th, 2025 (21 days later), and I still don't have my refund after sending emails and making several phone calls. read more

Back in April, I took my Buick Encore for a routine oil change, and tire rotation. The service adviser came to the waiting room to inform me that, there was an oil leak in the engine block, my inmediate reaction was a total surprise. I told that "adviser", that I have never had the need to add any amount of oil to the crankcase, and nor there was any sign of any of oil leakage on the floor of my garage, she proceded to show me a picture that I couldn't make out if it was my car's picture. She told me that it had to be repaired, and to bring the car back, as the parts needed weren't in stock. The "parts" came, took the car back to Laura GMC, a few hours later, it was found that other parts were also needed, and surprisingly, those parts had to be order from the manufacturer in Korea. I became very aggravated, I confronted the same advisor, and I asked her to let me talk to the mechanic in order to find out the details of that repair, as to why all the time taken to fix something that wasn't broken, she told me they don't allow that. Finally the car was delivered back to me on May 16/24. Drove the car back home, opened the hood to see if everything was ok, only to found a total mess in the engine compartment, obviously the technician that worked on my car, got pissed, and deliberately spilled oil and some white grease all over the compartment, and also a black sticky patch was found on the left front tire, that caused a vibration. Complained to service manager, he took pictures, a few days later the GM at Laura called me to apologize and that they were "investigating". Never, ever I will set foot in that dealership. read more

I ended up paying like a thousand dollars more than what I thought it was supposed to be however the service was so great I am not even upset about it and I'm pretty sure that John Martin was worth every penny of it. John Martin had got ill while I waa in thw process of buying the SUV and the finance guy kicked in and showed why they are a team and completed the deal and still made my car buying experience awesome. I really enjoy the customer service I enjoy the way that they got the car ready for me and they treated me with a lot of love and respect in my opinion. I had to get some service work did on the car and it was done free of charge and they even gave me a loaner car with no hassles no problems of any sort. Since I have went to have my car serviced; you know basic tire rotation, oil change and so forth their regular safety inspection and I'm telling you those guys in the auto service department they are just as goos at making you fewl important. I don't know why a lot of people give them a hard time but they were excellent. I've been to quite a few auto repair shops in different places and I've dealt with quite a few auto people and I tell you this place is pretty good. I really enjoyed every aspect of the service they treat me with a lot of respect make me feel like I'm important to them and I can't see myself going anywhere else. I read the reviews and was a little worried. I also heard they try to low ball you in your trade. I had to call and make an appointment because of COVID. I had a truck I had seen online and wanted to look at it. I had to put down a $500 refundable deposit to hold the truck until I was able to go look at it. I was emailed a form to fill out about my trade in. Very simple form to fill out, this just helps speed up the process because this is a very busy dealership. When I arrived I met with Kelly and he handed me the keys to the truck I was interested in buying. He told me to drive it and come back when I was done. I gave him the keys to my trade so they could get the final number after seeing it in person. Then he showed me how much they were offering for my trade. I was very happy with the amount they offered for the trade. No low balling or going back in forth. Walked into this dealership with full intent of buying a new truck with the husband. We stood in the lobby area for a good 20 minutes with 20+ employees around us. Not one single soul acknowledged us including the two receptionists at the front desk. We could not go but notice we were the only colored people in the building. Coincidence? Probably not. We drove 30 minutes to another competitor and had a completely different experience. Nonetheless, we are very happy with our 2020 purchase and glad our business did not go to such a closed minded establishment. read more

I recently visited Laura buick gmc to look at a vehicle. When I arrived they told me it had sold the day prior. Since I had made the drive, I decided to look at 3 other available vehicles. The first was $3,000 more, the second was a 4 owner vehicle, and the 3rd they were unable to even show to me because it was in a locked facility down the street. As I was trying to gain a better understanding of their pricing, the sales manager became frustrated, rude, and raised his voice. I eventually started talking price, and said what I was hoping to get for the vehicle I had originally come to see. He then essentially said I was crazy and all I'm doing is trying. He went on a rant on the sales floor without a thought towards a civil negotiation or rebuttal. I thanked him for his time as we clearly wouldn't be making a deal, and asked for his business card. He replied with "No, see ya!" And a wave of his hand as if he was shooing me off. This dealership seemed not to care about the customer. They would rather wait for the next uninformed buyer to walk through the door and sign on the dotted line no questions asked. Be savvy if you visit this dealership or look at buying from them online. The sales manager did tell me he had the vehicle listed above fair market price. They are willing to scam customers out of their money to make the biggest profit they can. Do your research! The more informed you can be, the better off. They hold a lot of information back until challenged by the customer. For example, They did the same with days on the market. "Where are you finding how many days it's been on the market" salesman said shockingly. They had tried pressuring me to move quick because their vehicles move fast. However this particular vehicle I had Inquired about had been there for over 90 days. read more

Another great experience with purchasing a vehicle at Laura Buick in Collinsville, Illinois! This is our second vehicle we have purchased from Steve Rogers. He is such a nice gentleman, and so easy to work with and made this purchase so easy!! We had made numerous calls to him to discuss the vehicles we were interested in and after we drove four hours + to meet with him, everything was just as he told us on the phone.
