These are old school guys, Dan, Dave, KC, in the absolute best way possible. Like a hand shake deal, I will hold your truck until you show up no matter what even when others are offering more money. I knew after talking to them that they know what they're talking about, oh Master Techs. I basically purchased the truck sight unseen no test drive. I hopped in and drove 1,000 miles to Katy, TX. 75-80 mph the whole way. No issues. The truck is practically brand new. I forgot to tell you that they also picked me up from the airport. The best people you will find in the USA. It's kind of like the Frost Bank commercials...what no way that didn't happen. Oh yes it did. read more

Terrible mysoginistic they do not give receipts. They will not work with customers to rectify problems. Don't put downpayment toward car. Women are treated of stupid. Never buy from this company. read more

Pleasant car buying experience. No pressure sales. Jim was great. Gave us time to browse and were super accommodating with the test drives. Felt like we got a fair deal on the buy and on our trade. The financing process took a little time so they loaned us a car to go get some lunch while they finalized the paperwork. Nice. About as smooth and seemless as buying a car can be. We purchased a 2008 GMC Acadia SLT1 from Crossroad Motors on December 11, 2013. Five months and 2300 miles later we had to replace the transmission for over $4000. Crossroad Motors basically told us too bad. Their exact quote was "there's no way for us to know that something like that will happen." So I am here to let you know that if you purchase a car from Crossroad Motors in Caseyville, IL there is no way they will know if it is a piece of crap. Even though they take every car to a local mechanic, there is just no way to know if the $19000 you are paying will get you a quality used car or a money pit waiting to happen. Just for the record, we purchased our previous vehicle from them. A 2004 Dodge Neon RT and it lost power on the highway while I was doing 65 mph. I was able to get it to the dealership who "couldn't replicate the problem" and they got it to the mechanic who did everything they could think of and couldn't reproduce it. After I had the same problem again on the highway, I figured out it was the negative cable connector that connected to the battery. I switched it out and all was well. So why would I go back to the same people? Well, I'll tell you. They provided me with a vehicle right off their lot with no questions asked and immediately tried to rectify the problem. I thought they had made a customer for life. I thought they cared about repeat business and referrals. I guess I was wrong. In conclusion I will make this recommendation based on the quote above. If you buy a car from Crossroad Motors in Caseyville, IL expecting it to be a quality used vehicle that won't break down in less than six months, their response will apparently be "there's no way for us to know that something like that will happen." read more

My last few cars have been purchased from large, big name, new automobile dealerships. I was looking for some very specific options for my next purchase and found a vehicle (listed on CarGurus) that had every single option I was looking for. The fact that this was a smaller used car lot did worry me at first, but I was pleasantly surprised. On arriving at the lot all of the vehicles looked great (not a "beater" to be seen), clean and reasonably priced. Jim was friendly and helpful. The purchase was straightforward and quick. There is a reason this place is so poorly rated. Again, stay away.

On the second appointment, they changed out the radiator, which probably wasn't bad. Then I had an electrical problem with my truck took it in twice. They couldn't figure it out so I went somewhere else. Recently we took our car in for an oil leak. It took them two days to figure out what was leaking...some oil valve. They changed it, we drive it home and the low oil pressure light cane on, We were down 2 quarts of oil; one would think that if you're doing something about an oil leak , you would check the oil before you give it back to the customer.

I was willing to pay them to fix it at their cost. I thought this was reasonable. The answer was "no." Would have been a super-happy customer if it wasn't for this. I was willing to pay for some of the repair, and felt that since this was a "known issue" when I drove it off the lot they should have met me "1/2 way" on it. Would not recommend buying from them.

I read my contract before purchasing because I was buying my car $10,000 cash and that's what you're supposed to do. Not one time did I come across a page that disclosed any major issues with my car. I had to sign the bottom of every sheet and I did just that. My car died a week and a half after I got it! In that time I did an oil change, a tune up, I had to replace the radiator and thermostat, and I kept getting a code saying the 5th cylinder in my motor was misfiring. The car died y'all it's been sitting in my driveway for a year and today I decided to check the seatbelts because from the beginning when I cleaned it out I kind of suspected water damage. They smell like mildew more and more the closer it gets to the end of the belt! But let me go back a little because when I contacted them about the other issues I was having after having the car 3 DAYS! at that time they told me I bought it as is and they weren't fixing anything and it's all on me now. He said it in the most grim way with an added chuckle. I said ok and went to seek legal advice but in the state of Illinois there are no lemon laws so I was stuck with this junk and I was helpless. Something said check your contract, why when I went to read I found a mysterious page saying that I would possibly have to replace the motor... I was like wait I e never seen this otherwise I wouldn't have bought the car at all. I then got excited because I had proof that they fraudulently sold me a car. They failed to disclose this information and they couldn't say I saw that page because guess what (remember when I told y'all I signed every page?) there was no signature. So I instantly called the lawyer and as I snapped pics to upload for the legal team I noticed my signature was not in a single piece of paper but how was that possible if he took it in the back for "copies" and he switched the contracts! I wanna say his name was Jim but forgive me if I'm wrong because it's been a year and I'm still going thru the legal side of it all. I don't hardly remember his name but I can tell you whoever works in that building that had surgery with in the last year (he told us he was going to be off awhile for it) is the guy I'm talking about so beware of the man with the cane because he's the worst kind of human, very dishonest, and shame on you sir! But let me add when I've told this story to people around me I've discovered two of them had been there and also were sold lemons so be careful and make sure you read your contracts and pay attention to everything like I did. I've contacted the attorney general and I'm pressing the issue y'all got the right one this time. I got nothing but time to sit in a court especially when I know I'm right. You will pay for what you did to me! Enjoy

Simply because he has already lied to me and caused me sleepless nights.. First off when i first called the dealership and he picked up the phone and ansured what few questions i had on the car which was.... Is it available? It does get 40 to 50 miles a gallon? And is their anything wrong with the car? He told me that their was not one thing wrong with the car those were his exact words and he never try's to mention anything about the Salvage Title not until after i had someone from work drop me off up their because i had no car at the time and he made sure to get the 2500 down payment from me and have me fill out half the paper work and then he springs it on me now its real slick how he gives you no time to find out what a salvage title even means i had no idea but if he could have told me just a hour earler i could have read up on it and would have diffenetley not have bought the car to begin with. And on top of that he didnt even sell it to me at the salvage title value which is $ 4300 i have the tax papers on that is what the state of missouri appraised it at. So he sells me a car for $ 9000 that is appraised at $4300 and that's not all the ad that you had on the car clearly says that it get around 45 miles to the gallon. Well just a couple of days after i bought it i knew that was not at all accurate because it only gets 12 to 15 miles a gallon reason the IMA battery is out on the car which is a $ 2500 dollar item now to me that qualifies as one thing being wrong with the car and two things the would be the Salvage Title. Now i did drive it back up to the dealership to see if he could have it fixed you know since it was right after i bought it and of course because he assured me their was not one thing wrong with the car.... but instead of helping me it just said well that sucks and let me know that it was my problem... OK so there are two options that i think is more than fair and i really hope that you agree the option being i have already paid more than what the car is valued at so 1st option being we clear the car note... if that is not possible for you than option 2 would be i bring the car back and just get refunded the money i paid on it one of these options could surely work. i really hope that you can work with me on the matter you can reach me at 903 910 9722 Now don't just go off my reviews please look them up on the BBB WEBSITE AS WELL THE BBB RECOMMENDS NOT DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM AT ALL COST!!!

The customer service is top notch, the prices are very fair, and the purchasing process is truly painless. We felt absolutely no pressure to buy anything, the team here is a joy to work with and very knowledge. They have a good selection of vehicles on their lot, and if they don't have it they can get it for you. The gentleman that I have dealt with here more than anyone is Alex Steiger, and if you deal with him I am sure you will be just as pleased as we are. Crossroad Motors have earned our business for life. We ended going to Crossroad Motors after too many aggravating trips to other big name dealers with salesmen that are quite full of it and pushy. I recently found the car I was looking for by doing a 500 mile radius search. I found the car on car guru. It was by far the best deal, but 200 miles away. I hesitated at first, thinking that this deal was too good to be true. I went for it and drove down to Caseyville ill. The guys at Crossroad Motors were for real. My 2017 Infinity qx60 was perfectly new and by far the best deal over Chicago, Indianapolis and Cincinnati. I even got a great trade in deal, considering that I didn't have a way to get back to Danville Il. without one. These guys are friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy. They were fair with the price and they didn't haggle me over my trade-in like most dealers like to do. Everyone that worked there was professional and I would buy from there again. The truck is under factory warranty, that way I'm covered if it has trouble. Even new vehicles can break that's why its good ideal to have a warranty. read more
