I've never felt rushed during my appointments. The office staff is friendly and efficient. Whether it's a routine checkup or something more serious, Dr. Rekar has always provided excellent medical care. I recently had a complicated issue arise with my insurance company authorizing a prescription and Dr. Rekar helped every step of the way until we were heard and approved. Caring more for protocols and quotas than individual plan of care. Facey the medical group is priority over the patient care. Office staff was fair. The kitchen staff does a excellent job creating tasty and nutritious meals. The administration staff walks the fine line of corporate needs and patient needs. it is necessary to advocate for yourself at times, but that is actually a healthy part of your rehabilitation process in my eyes. I was a patient here for over a month, during that time I met some amazing people on their staff! One thing to consider when you're coming from a hospital environment or a critical care unit, this isn't that. You won't get a 2 second response on the call light, and your needs may be met in order received. be patient be understanding, be courteous to the staff and it will return to you tenfold. be sure to ask questions, advocate for yourself.
