Laura taught our daughter voice lessons. She really enjoyed her time! I would highly recommend Laura!!! She is kind, patient, wise, and made the lessons lots of fun for our daughter. She challenged her, allowed her to have fun and enjoy herself while learning new techniques each week. It was great for our daughter! read more

The best piano and voice teacher ever! Our two girls (then 9 and 7 old) were Laura's students for about a year and they just loved their piano and singing lessons. It was after Laura started teaching them when they finally started to practice by themselves without being reminded! I was simply amazed. I know it was because Laura put her whole heart into teaching them. She kept a good balance between challenging and fun material that kept them inspired and excited about playing the piano. They still play the songs they learned and are very proud when asked to play for someone. Our younger one also took voice lessons and she progressed so fast with Laura's training. Those lessons really gave her so much confidence in her voice and she continues to use the techniques she learned to continue to train her voice (no new teacher yet, just by herself). I wish we could continue the lessons, but it is just not feasible because of the distance. Laura does offer lessons via Skype for those who can do it. read more

Established in 1984.

Laura Wedemeyer has taught private music lessons for over 25 years. She has a Bachelors of Arts from Point Loma University in Vocal Performance. She has led worship for many years in several congregations in California. She has trained and taught seminars to young people and adults in worship teams and led various seasonal children's choirs. In the public school arena she has taught music history, music theory, keyboards and singing. She has helped facilitate songwriting and developing that area of interest with her students. Laura is a clear communicator and wonderful role model to kids. She is positive in her approach to life and in her teaching opportunities.
