Today April 21,2020 I had my dog groomed today and he was injured. Failure to report is being sneaky. NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN!

My dog got injured today after a horrible grooming session. The owner never reported the injury to me, but I found out after I got home. The photo is of my dog's paw. I WILL NEVER TAKE MY DOG TO THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN! Negative star in my book..... but Yelp had me post a star.

Cut my dogs toe nail too high and was bleeding. The owner didn't seem to care much. Won't be coming back.

My dog pulls my arm out of my socket trying to get in this place every time I bring him here…read more that tells me he loves it. All I have to do is "camp bow wow" at home and he gets excited...what else do I need? I have to comment on some of the comments... * dogs walking in circles... - have you ever been to a dog park? after initial excitement, many dogs just kind of start to relax...some play like maniacs, others chill...dogs tend to cycle energy, rest, energy, rest...and in the afternoons you'll see many just laying on their sides, quite content. * Concrete floors.....indoor facility and very easy to clean and disinfect concrete floors. * dogs go where they are playing......have you ever been to a dog park? they pee and crap everywhere.... t hey're smart enough to avoid walking in pee and poop and with olfactory senses 600x more sensitive than ours they can detect the smallest amount of either. if you want to coddle your dog and spend over $100 day, go to the Morris animal inn..I'm sure it's world class, but these are DOGS for crying out loud... most have fun, and most come home very tired! The people are friendly, they'll feed your dog what you bring and how you instruct, and look after your dog in a warm, environmentally safe, clean facility. at a good price. my dog loves it...what more do I need? it's a good value!

Took her back because the trainer said to come in before 9:30 and she was not there. So they put her in a room with over 20 other dogs. Waiting for the training evaluation. We've tried several trainers and boarding facilities in various cities and states. We even resorted to trying a famous YouTube trainer and he came back worse and even more anxious. Typically, these expensive "board and trains" we've participated in have ended with medication recommendations and a "good luck". One final trainer recommended we try Mind Of Dog because she also wasn't able to break through. I'm so grateful we did. He's thriving and comes home exhausted. An added bonus is the people training we've received. The best part of all of it, is that he's finally getting the exercise and structure he's always needed and deserves. They handle the dogs calmly, but with lots of structure and clear boundaries, which our dog desperately needs. We can finally go to work and travel without worrying that he's being mishandled or ignored. We're so grateful to have found this place and I have to admit, I was waiting for him to fail again, because we had lost all hope. I highly recommend that you give Mind Of Dog a shot, especially if you're in a similar position as we were. Thanks, Mind of Dog! Senna loves you all and is so grateful to be able to play with dogs without fear and anxiety.

She came home in shock and growled at our other dog (who she loves and has never previously growled at). Whatever they did during the day together, she was affected quite negatively. It's important to us to be able to have the dogs stay at home when we're away so having someone come to the house is absolutely incredible. Lauren and her staff have always been great with our dogs and even when something hasn't 'gone well' (let's just say intestinal distress) they've been great about cleaning up and contacting us. It's also great that since they come to our house instead of boarding the dogs we kind of get a built in house sitter too-not that there's any reason to break in (besides, the dogs would love a chance to sic balls). If you're tired of boarding your dogs and live in the Morris County area I wholeheartedly recommend Canine Concierge. Your pets will be well cared for and won't be so stressed when you come home. I envy Lauren and her business...sometimes I wish I could spend each day just taking care of dogs...

To anyone in need of a professional dog walker, I highly recommend The Peaks Pet Nanny, a…read morefamily-owned and operated business providing various services for dogs and cats. Over the years, I've used different dog walkers on several occasions when I could not walk my dog. I feel the way most dog owners feel: my dog is a part of my family. He's like my child, and I am cautious with who takes him out of my home and walks him. Before I decide, I "do my homework," consider all of the options and select the best one. In this case, The Peaks Pet Nanny was hands down the company that met all of my criteria. Additionally, they were highly recommended to me by a friend of mine and one of their long-term customers. On my first phone call to The Peaks Pet Nanny, I spoke with Gina, who owns the business with her husband, Patric. During our conversation, she answered all of my questions. I found her to be bright, articulate, knowledgeable, and professional. In less than half an hour, I had a schedule worked out. She transmitted me all the necessary paperwork and advised me she would call me with the information on the dog walker they were arranging for me. Shortly after that, Gina called me and told me about who would be walking my dog. Within a minute of her scheduled time of arrival, the walker, a wonderful young woman named Olivia, appeared at my front door. Olivia is an experienced dog walker who is kind, compassionate, and the most punctual individual I've ever met. In the month that I've used the service, Olivia has never been more than three or four minutes late. When my dog sees her, he goes crazy. It's the happiest time of his day. He leaves with his tail wagging and returns smiling, panting, and tired. Exactly what we were looking for. Recently Olivia took a much-needed vacation for a few days. I made a phone call to Patric. Within half an hour, he provided me with a substitute walker, Debbie, another experienced dog walker who lives within walking distance of my home and who, like Olivia, is kind, compassionate, and professional. On Debbie's first day, Patric called me to confirm that everything worked out, and I was satisfied with the temporary arrangements, which of course, I was. Once again, I highly recommend using The Peaks Nanny for dog walking and for any of the variety of services they offer pet owners. They are professional, efficient, go above and beyond to satisfy and be responsive to their customer's needs.
