Absolutely terrible groomer and shady owner. I have been going to Laura for 2-3 years. I noticed every time I went she would raise the price of the groom for my cat even though the service was always the same. She stated "he needed more grooming this time" but I always brought him in the same condition. They also only know how to cut very short. I've asked several times if they could cut my cats hair just slightly shorter (I have a Persian) and he always came back almost bald. Also note your pet will be sitting for hours until they actually get to him/her. They will tell you a couple of hours but my cat was always there all day. My dog has special needs and Laura told me she would be able to work with our special request. My blind, deaf and highly anxious(from past abuses) dog gets very nervous about being outside of the house. I made arrangements to wait the hour for her to get groomed to minimize her time out of the house. After almost 2 hours I went inside and witnessed my dog yelping in pain from her ears being pulled. My dog then fell off the table, she was not secured. I immediately took my dog and left. I emailed Laura asking for a refund since my dogs fur was uneven and looked awful and her nails were never even trimmed. I never heard back. Stay away from this groomer. She pretends to care but it is all about the money. read more

What can I say about Laura? A lot actually :-) We had the fortune of corresponding and working with Laura while she was fostering a Great Dane up for adoption from Wise Animal Rescue. She was gracious and freely giving of her time while allowing us to interact with Lilah the Great Dane. She provided us with all the specifics and details we needed to know about Lilah. She constantly was in contact with us through the whole process. Thankfully we made a great choice with Liliah and she is now with us at her forever home. The day we went to pick Lilah up, Laura and her team cut her nails and gave her a bath and had her ready for her adoption day! She looked and smelled great! Do not bring your dog here! I went despite reading some of the negative reviews thinking that they were just maybe biased or unfairly discontent. Should have went with my gut. Brought my dog for a groom. A week or so later I noticed my dog kept itching at two spots on her back to a point that it was inflamed. Took her to the vet and vet said that the groomer's clip got too close to her skin, resulting in raw spots. Was prescribed topical meds and had to pay $140 for this exam BECAUSE of the groomer. Not only this, my dog's fur was uneven after the groom and it was way too expensive compared to other options (go to Terry's Pet Depot instead!!). Customer service was also poor when I arrived there-- no greeting. I didn't even bother calling to complain about all of this because what's the point? They screwed up my dog's skin and there's no taking that back. Don't come here, horrible place. read more

Laura's has groomed my cat Scout twice now and both times it's been a five star experience for both Scout and me. Easy to make an appointment, drop off and pick up. The staff clearly gives him a lot of TLC because he's always a cool customer afterwards. Both times they've called me to give me a 20 minute heads-up that he'd be ready so he's not cooling his paws, hanging around waiting for me to arrive. Great service and work all around! read more

When I first arrived at this location my fiance and I walked into the lobby. We checked in and were told that we would have to come back in about 4 hours to pick the dog up. As the nice gentleman upfront was explaining this to us one of the dog groomers said "well maybe if you weren't so fucking retarded I would be able to cut your hair better". I felt in my bones that I should have just left right then and there. The gentleman upfront swayed my fiance and I that we would love the grooming service and we stayed. They charged us $78 dollars for the grooming service with a 5% extra charge for using debit/credit cards. When I saw my dog she looked so cute that at this point I was just very happy with her hair cut and just let that go. Later that night my dog kept licking her paws. We thought this was an odd behavior because she has never done that before. My dog was licking so obsessively that she started biting. This was enough I was worried and brought the dog to the vet. HER TOE NAIL WAS CUT TO SHORT AND INFECTED! I called Laura the owner of the spa and told her what had happened. She did not believe that this happened and was requesting that I show her a picture and also a note from the vet. I gathered all the information and made sure that she received the information. She did and I had to ask to get a refund that I deserved. I wanted her to cover my $150 vet bill as well as the refund due to the fact that her pet spa was the reason my dog got an infection to begin with. She claimed that all her equipment is sterile and has a company come in a clean and everything like that. Then she lied and said that she personally cut my dogs toes. I know this was a lie because 1. she was not in that day and 2. The first time I called she really wanted to know who worked on my dog so she can "fix the issue". So when she gave my the refund she did not refund the whole amount which ticked me off because that was the least that she could have done. This place is HORRIBLE! My puppy was told he cannot come back unless he takes a tranquilizer before his appointment. Thats fine. They kept him locked away in a cage three hours + after his appointment. I then get a call saying they cant work on him because he was not sedated. THATS NOT MY FAULT THAT YOU LEFT HIM IN A CAGE I said that to one of the groomers and WAS HUNG UP ON. What great customer service if you ask me. I picked up my puppy and his tail was poorly cut, half of his face was trimmed, and his eyes were dirty. Laura did not want to talk to me because she knew she was wrong. Laura has been trimming my cat's claws for over 4 years and she does a great job. The cat won't let me cut her claws, but Laura knows how to grasp the cat just right so that the procedure goes quickly. I won't even consider taking my cat to any other groomer for this. read more

Do not go here! My dog was older but after a grooming session, we picked her up from the place and she could not move. We took her to the doctor and she was paralyzed from the neck down due to a severed spine. After two weeks of hell, we made the decision to put her to sleep. She was moving fine before the grooming session and when we called the spa to discuss what happened, there was no call back or any sympathy for what happened. Took my cat for first time and will never again, he was shaved too close and is raw on the back of his legs, when I called to tell Laura, her remark was to put baby powder on it, he did have matts on his underside , not on the back of his legs, my girlfriend also took her morkie there the same time and now he has no whiskers and one ear is 1" longer than the other and she was told " it will grow" who says this to Clients? And new clients at that, I am a hair dresser and would never speak to a client like this, but I would never do this kind of work to begin with. I do not recommend this place at all, and I'm not the only one, while walking the dog afterwards at the park ran into other owners of morkies and they said that no one goes there anymore, not good. read more

Do not go here. I have been going for 5 years. One time my dog came back home sneezing and coughing . I had to take her to the vet the next day . She got Kennel cough so now I always get her bordetella shot. Few times she came back nicked and I had to tell staff the following time to be careful . Then this time I go to pick up my dog and she was not ready . They asked me to wait as they finish her . I hear my dog screaming and yelping . I here the groomer saying stop don't bite and shut up. I look over the gate to see my dogs legs being stretched out with force wearing not a muzzle but a full leather mask covering her snout and eyes . I was horrified . I mention to the groomer after who was the owner about the screaming . She said oh it's ok they worked it out . I wondered why my dog was so shaky last time . That's not a acceptable answer for a 10 year dog going through that plus have their owner witness it . I guess to them this is normal. I will never take my dog back. read more

If you have a cat, do not go here! The only pleasant part was making my appointment and dropping my cat off ...for the most part (the gentleman I spoke with was helpful and nice) but when I arrived the woman at the front counter addressed me, "Oh is this the cat?" Very Rude. I will NEVER take my cat here again. First off, I was quoted $70-$90 ($90 if his hair was completely matted). My cat was not matted at all and was in perfect condition. He only needed a bath and to be shaved down for the summer. They charged me $90, did not provide a receipt and did not even say THANK YOU! The worst part was I was quoted 2.5 to 3.5 hours...instead they had my cat there for 7 HOURS! My cat was still traumatized 4 days after his grooming session. I arrived to pick up my cat and they brought his crate out and then carried him out and shoved him in. They didn't tell me how he did or anything. I was not even sure if my transaction was complete, but after standing in front of FOUR WORKERS for almost a minute, I finally took the crate and walked out. I should also mention, while I was waiting for my cat, one of the dogs came out into the front area and as the lady came to get the dog, she told my boyfriend and me that the dog BITES!
