Alexa, the owners daughter, was knowledgeable about all their wines and incredibly sweet to chat with. The property & tasting room is in a great location. The outside patio/deck is shaded and elevated giving it a beautiful view of the pond below. We came kidless this visit, but will def be back with our children in tow next time. There are big grassy areas they can run around & okay. Only 10 min outside downtown Monroe. Had a great time, and we will be back!

It was my 1st time and I thought it was endearing. The rocking chairs give it a country vibe. They really capitalized on the space to allow different opportunities. I was hoping to see Albert(a) Wine-Stein aka, Amanda and she did not disappoint! So happy to catch up with her after almost 4 years. I know, I should get out more! They have a great opportunity to select from 50% of wine bottles so Michelle and I selected a Franciscan CabSav from San Miguel, Ca just south of Napa near the Paso Robles area. Just an EXCELLENT choice we concluded, you will NOT be disappointed with this selection with hints of black cherry, carmel and coconut. We settled into one of their many rooms and selected a table where we could order from their menu with a nice selection of appetizers, salads, hand helds and small bites. We shared the Crab Rangoon app & each had the Harvest Salad. All together is was an excellent combination. It was a warm pre-spring evening and just a perfect finish for memorable outing. The owner/host was absolutely incredible--so knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely passionate about what he does. He made the entire experience feel welcoming and special. You can really tell there's intention behind everything--from the wines to the story behind the vineyard. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we left with four bottles! The tasting fee includes alot of wines, so its totally worth the wait and time spent at the Mercer House. They do have a newly built area for weddings, see the website for details.
