Decent. Service was GREAT. Ambiance was fine, food hall style. BABS scratched kitchen, had the Cajun pasta - amazing, go back for that. Milo's burger, ok, basic, the fries though, amazing, the spicy Buffalo ones. Bar, bartender was great, anyone can serve beer, she was much batter than that

This is a fairly new "food hall" in Rock Hill...and well, for starters, I'm glad this little town actually has one now! To start on a good note, this place definitely has some merits...with its comfy patio seating area. Unfortunately, since it's so hot right now, nobody was able to enjoy their outdoor accommodations. So...this review is based strictly on the indoor portion. I must get frank. I thought the place could have been much nicer if the floorings were done. The way it is, it's very raw, rough...industrial (??). The place is spacious enough, with some cool architectural points (high ceilings, floating windows??), but something about the place just doesn't feel sleek and sophisticated...rather, clunky. I don't know, I've seen some super-snazzy food halls throughout U.S...and this one is quite modest at best. Also, on a super-hot day (90+ degrees!), they had this one big window open...so on one side of the food hall, it was too hot/humid. WHY did they have the windows open on a day like this?!? Ridiculous! One more thing. The place isn't "distributed" well (I can't find the right word!)...in that one half of the place has all the windows, and all the action (bar, band, etc.etc.)...and the other part is all blocked in (with no winows, no decor, no action). However, the part that was blocked in was much cooler (in temperature!), so that's where we chose to hang out. Again, the vibe was kinda weird...just "clunky" all over. Definitely not one of the better food halls I've seen. Even my husband agreed that he expected more...better...nicer. BTW, not sure if it's only on weekend nights, but they did have an acoustic guitar player near the bar area. However, you really can't hear the music that well if you're seated on the other half of the food hall. There's about half a dozen vendors. Not many, but a good, diverse selection. BTW, the name of each vendor was not displayed well enough. The names were just subtly embedded into the walls...barely visible when walking by. Why, I wonder?? Anyway, the one that I chose to try was the Naroodle Chibi (Japanese, of course!). My husband tried Chilango (Mexico, always his Go-To!). Sadly, my husband hated the tacos from Chilango. I agreed with him...the tacos were toy-sized, and looked terrible. I asked him if they tasted as bad as they looked...and sadly, his answer was "YEP". Never again. Fortunately, I liked my choice a bit better. Naroodle had a VERY limited menu. Only 2 appetizers (chicken or veggie gyoza), and 4-5 types of ramen. No Bao Buns, nothing else! They DID, however, have this super-cute Teddy Bear bottled Thai Tea!! LOVED this lol! I went with their most unique BBQ Ramen...very Southern fusion, I guess. It was fairly good, with an unusual BBQ taste...my first "fusion" ramen! I also tried their veggie gyoza. It was O-Kay...but not even close to being as good as the version I tried in GA recently (at Slurpin' Ramen). Honestly, my favorite part was their Teddy Bear Thai Tea! I must admit, however, that it wasn't as sweet as most Thai Teas...and could have been served a bit colder as well. Maybe I should have done a separate review for the Naroodle Chibi?? In any case, I liked the foods O-Kay at Naroodle Chibi...but they were just passably good. Again, my husband thought the tacos at Chilango weren't even passable. Despite the underwhelming foods (both taste and presentation - in paper/plastic get-ups!), they were WAY overpriced. We also tried ice cream at The Local Scoops, another one of their vendors...and well, here, the prices were a bit more reasonable. However, I didn't quite love it. The ice cream had a thick, super-sticky consistency...and well, just not that delicious (to me, anyway!). Overall, I just didn't think anything we tried were too impressive. We did agree to return and try them at least one more time in the future...if for anything, to check out their nice outdoor patio scene. Am thinking THAT may be the big redemption for this place...given the "clunky" indoor space and the way-too-pricey-yet-underwhelming foods we tried. I'm hoping I can upgrade this review on my next visit...when we can actually sit outside, and enjoy their patio scene.

I loved the stone columns when you walk up to the venue. Walking in and towards the right you'll find the Men's and Women's restrooms with 3 stalls. Also in this side there's a Grooms room with a sink, mirror vanity, dining table that seats 4 and a door for him to walk to the ceremony site. Back down the hall towards the reception area is the larger bar area. You're welcome to bring in your own bartender as long as they have the proper licenses to serve. South Carolina License are required. Looking from the bar is the reception area that seats 250 comfortably. Southern Charms provides black chicory chairs and both round and rectangular tables. Which can be set up to your liking. Back down the hall to the left of the bar you'll find the brides room. This cute room has a large vanity for the bride and her girls to primp and finish the final touches of their look. It also has a restroom inside for the bride so she isn't seen by anyone before the ceremony. Also on this side is the door that leads the bridal party to the ceremony area. Outside the ceremony area is fully covered with a comfortable seating of 250. It also has a fireplace that can be utilized for cooler ceremony dates and the option to rent heaters as needed. There's also a larger grass area to host a wonderful cocktail hour and/or outdoor games if you choose. I highly recommend contacting Southern Charm Events for your next event!

I contacted Southern Charm Events to inquire about the possibility of having the ceremony there. Although they were unavailable on that day, the events coordinator went out of her way to send me a list of other venues in the area that I could contact & made other suggestions. She did not have to do that & I am so appreciative of all of her help! Even though I have not had an actual event here, I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to book an event in the area solely because of their amazing customer service!

Wedding Day: My bridesmaids were placed in the Bridal Suite---lots of space to move around. The guys got ready downstairs in the mens locker room. Around 11am, I ordered a small lunch for my girls: Small tea sandwiches, mimosas and fruit....There was enough food for eleven people. I only had five mimosas brought in. Unfortunately, it rained during our ceremony. In case of inclement weather your event will be moved indoors....I was so overwhelmed, I couldn't breath!! I made the foolish decision to move forward and go outside.....WORST DECISION EVER!!! I wish someone would've shook me! We finally moved inside and continued the ceremony...Everything was wonderful!!! Food: We attended a Food tasting in March 15' it was PERFECTION..There were several other couples there. My fiance is allergic to shellfish. I asked if we could substitute the crab (when we finalize our menu)..IMMEDIATLY Several people rushed to our table, First the Chef, followed by several other staff members. Now that's amazing service! Our guest loved the menu we selected!! White Zinfandel, Chardonnay, and Pinot Grigio. We also served Champagne during the toast. Here's a few tips: Have signage for your guest!! or assign someone to direct!!! Our guest have never been here, I heard several complaints about people roaming around. Lost...The people we hired only directed a small number of guest. The Bridal Suite: This is located across from the women's restroom. I would ask about adding signage so people wont barge in. This happened several times. Attended a wedding and the owner just wouldn't let this special event take place without her presence at every moment. The family had the venue rented until 10pm, and this "Karen" came into the venue and started removing linens from the tables at 9:20pm and moving trash cans close to the dessert table to start throwing things away. She was asked to stop, so she stood outside the door making the guest very uncomfortable until they all started leaving. DO NOT Pick this venue for your special occasion, guarantee the KAREN owner will ruin your event too. Tee boxes are all in great repair though Senior tees don't offer much of an advantage over the White tees. Check in was smooth and easy as a guest and the young man was able to answer all my questions before I even asked. There is a driving range on-site that offers complimentary range balls. You even have an on-site clock to help you be ready for your tee time. The putt practice green is right beside the #1 hole. The cart path is not very wide here so it get's bottle necked because there is so much traffic. Sadly, our electric cart died on the 13th tee box. Water only comes into play on a couple of holes though there is a lake on site which adds to the vista. Pace of play was very good as it was a 1230p tee time on a Tuesday. We were able to complete in just about four hours even with a slight rain delay. There is an on-site bar and grill that offers a great view of players rolling off 18.
