Our youth softball team was in the area for a tournament, and we needed something to do one hot summer evening that involved air conditioning. We found Laurel Lanes and were easily able to book 2 lanes for 15 players. The package came with a large cheese pizza and unlimited pitchers of soda/water, bowling shoes and the lanes for 2 hours - all for about $100 per lane. The facility is huge, upscale with entertainment screens showing movies, sports and other shows located at the end of the bowling lane. There was seating for the parents behind the kids who were bowling. Happy Hour in the bar required you to stay in the bar to drink your cocktail. Our server worked very hard and was extremely friendly and attentive, but the kitchen ran very slow. The food was terrible - we joked around that they had clearly raided the BJ's Wholesale Club frozen section. I think the wings were the best thing they served, but I was weirded out at the idea of touching bowling balls and then eating wings. Do not order the "nachos" with 4 dipping sauces unless you want a french fry container of tortilla chips with sauces in little tiny single serve containers (think those diner jelly containers). We had a good laugh over those. It was still a great experience for the girls who made sure to hit the arcade after, and the parents who were able to have some drinks while the girls entertained themselves. There was one horror moment though when one of the screens was showing the R-rated movie Bridesmaids and a very graphic sex scene played itself out for a LONG time. Thank goodness the girls were too absorbed in bowling to notice the movie but several of the moms saw it and still have nightmares about our girls realizing what was on screen!

This is not our 1st time at Laurel Lanes but our 1st time having a private party in the suite. The space was beautiful and the staff were super friendly & helpful. Since this was a sweet sixteen we ordered finger foods from the catering menu but they had so many options to choose from. The big hit was the ice cream sundae bar - the kids & the adults loved it. The private suite also included access to a PlayStation 5, pool tables, speakers to play music and ofc alcoholic beverages if you like. Such a good time.

Came here for the first time since they renovated and I must say , I am impressed. The bowling ally is very nice, modern and clean. This could be somewhere you go for a date or bring the kids. The employees are very nice and accommodating. My husband and I were impressed with the food too. The food was better than average for a bowling ally. They also have a full bar. Definitely coming back.

Was here for a birthday party on a Sunday from 1-4pm. The bowling alley is beautiful and updated. Newer flooring and updated electronics made for a nice bowling experience. We were in the luxury suite for the party which had 6 lanes, multiple TVs (with 2 big screens at the end of the lanes), some arcade style games, and lots of seating / space for a large event. Our server was very personable and easy going (all drinks had to be ordered through him and we weren't allowed to order directly from the bar). Our party host was also kind and accommodating. Food was lackluster but what I expected for a bowling alley. Veggie tray, chicken Caesar salad, chicken tenders, and fries. Edible but not the greatest. The beer list was better than expected. Some good IPAs that I've never had before. Seemed like the lanes were oiled extra heavy, but all things considered a great experience for any kind of private event.

    So dissatisfied

I came here on a date and we had made reservations but when we got there it was pretty empty and my bf and i was hungry. so the guy allowed us to get something to eat first and then we could bowl after. The staff was very nice. everybody wore a mask and gloves and the place was very clean. they gave us bowling shoes and social distance was very much enforced. they have plastic in between each lane for protection too.

Stopped here with my kids and mother in law after eating dinner . We came here to play a f Couple games . The price is average like other bowling places. We had the VIP room which is a first I enjoyed coming here the VIP room was great. We had a some what private area where we were able to order drinks with the waitress. I never bowled here before so this was a first and I must say I am happy we stopped here. Great atmosphere and great service. I would come back here in the future!!

We've been coming here for years and it was always a great, affordable time, but not the case anymore. Our family of 4 spent over $300 bowling and eating their disgusting, overpriced food. We had a waitress for about 2 minutes who got us drinks only and then wanted to cash out and get her tip since she was leaving. We debated on going bowling or to a 76ers game. We picked bowling because we thought it was the more affordable choice, boy were we wrong! We wont be back!

The new ownership has completely changed the atmosphere for the worse. Tonight, after spending around $300, I tried to order a large pizza with a pitcher of soda and an additional pitcher of water, and was told that they "no longer serve water" and that I couldn't even get both pitchers. Absolutely ridiculous. How does a family establishment deny basic water especially when customers are already spending good money to eat, drink, and have a good time? The new rules and lack of customer service are beyond disappointing. On top of that, they're gouging us with $5 water bottles. Beyond disappointing! This used to be a fun, family friendly spot, but it's clear the new management doesn't care about loyal customers or basic hospitality. We won't be returning until things change.

I do think if I went on a day where it was packed, I would not have enjoyed it as much. The racing simulators are pretty cool! The chair shakes while you are racing in order to give it as much real effects as possible. As your driving/racing you have to pay attention to the guides on the floor in colors red, green & yellow signifying you to slow down on certain curves and turns on the different tracks. When you pay for a race, five rounds of racing is included. You can pick your level of difficulty for each round. I went with "rookie" for all of my five rounds and each track was different. It was neat not knowing what to expect each time you began and it was cool to know you could enjoy it even at the most basic level, which is rookie. The food was not bad, but I could've done without it. The fried chicken sand-which was kinda salty, but I was a fan of the truffle fries. The prosecco was good, light and extra bubbly (not pictured). I think the interior was very nice! Being that there was barely anyone, I got to capture some pics which was nice! I see this as being an arcade you enjoy, when it's not many people, as couples and with some friends. Not a place to frequent often, I think.

Parking: No parking, you are in Center City; used parking garage. Value: Average. Experience: Nice experience, especially for F1 fans, will return with my F1 fantasy group. Notable mention: The service here is top notch. Love the guys working the entrance, the front desk staff, the bartenders and the folks helping you with simulators. I went online and made reservations, you can use debit or credit. I received a response shortly after submitting the booking request. The staff sends you reminders once you book, the closer you get to your reservation window. COVID-19 precautions are practiced here. All of the equipment is sterilized, after use. So its clean when it's your turn to put the gear on. Since the VR goggles are worn on your face, you are given a disposable mask to put on that sits between your VR goggles and your face. The goggles never touch your face. There are several choices of games to pick from. Ranging from Easy to Hard. My wife and I had never played VR type games before. Our fun here was worth the price of admission! I suggest getting here a few minutes before your scheduled time. The staff has to set you up and get you positioned.
