Came here to play mini golf and had a pleasant experience. The course is decently sized but none of the holes are too challenging. I know it's family friendly, but everyone in my group tended to get all the balls in within three putts. Wish it was ~slightly~ more difficult. I mean it's an okay place. You can tell it's been here for a while and feels a little given up on. The vibe is nice don't get me wrong. and i did have a good time with my gf which is why i gave 3 stars. But most, if not all of the games in the arcade we played were broken, half broken, or just didn't work properly. The staff was nice which was cool. Their "bowling" i mean it was okay? A friend took me here for the mini-golf through a groupon. The minigolf was a lot of fun and feeling the effort put into the decorations for it was awesome. We weren't expecting it to be indoors as we could've gone earlier on a day when there was waaayy too much snow. If you see a bus then keep driving. 2 adults for 15 little kids that were jumping on everything, walking all over the course, one kid took my wife's ball and started to walk away, no apology from the adult. We tried to sit out and wait multiple times even tho we were nearly half way through the course, and arrived before this group, but after trying to play again and getting to hole 10 we called it a day! This review is primarily for the mini golf course. I haven't tried any of the arcade games, but it's your basic arcade, no different from others in the area. My eight-year-old son and I are mini golf fanatics. Connoisseurs even. We've been to most mini golf courses in South Jersey, and the course here is ok, not terribly challenging. Kind of annoying how the holes all bleed into one another and there isn't a lot of variety between them. It's $13 for adults and $11 for kids, which strikes me as a lot for a mediocre course. The decor is... something else. This place is like if the movie Tron and a Spencer's Gifts from the 90's were two parents fighting while blasting loud music to disguise their matrimonial issues, and you, the customer, are the confused child caught in the middle. Not for the faint of heart. Bonus that it's in an industrial park so there is ample parking, and it's of course indoors so perfect for something to do during inclement weather. And finally, it's right next to an amazing brewery: Forgotten Boardwalk. Take your kid mini golfing and then take him to a brewery where he can play old school skeeball and arcade games. Monster Mini Golf is best described in terms of "little;" It's a little small, a little dark, a little run down, a little cool, a little expensive, a little loud, a little weird, a little more than a little goth..... Walking in, it's immediately like a cave. Very little lighting is going on inside, and the music is bumping. There's enough light to see, but it is a little dark. Also, the building seems smaller than it really is. Immediately in front is the putt putt course, which is kinda mashed together, and to either side are a few games. (Some of the games were in various states of disrepair. My daughter likes the Mario Kart racing game, and only 1 of the two sides worked.) They have "bowling," but it is this mini bowling, with miniaturized lanes, pins and balls. There was still a decent selection of games, but nothing like a Dave and Busters type variety. The mini golf seemed weird. Again, it's all 18 holes just smooshed into the middle of the building, and because there is one entrance that is also the starting spot for hole #1, the line for golf starting backing up immediately, and led to this mass of people milling about, waiting to "tee off." So, much like real golf, you will spend a lot of time waiting for the people in front of you, and getting pressured by the people behind you. The birthday room is very gothic, with bats and spiderwebs and shit strewn about, so it's pretty much your only aesthetic choice for a party. Parties are also the industry standard absolutely insane prices, starting at $325 and working their way up. Not a terrible place to spend an afternoon, just not somewhere I'd really go out of my way to frequent. There's nothing WRONG with Monster Mini Golf, it just doesn't do anything appreciably better than other places. Bonus though, there is a TON of parking. *shoulder shrug emoji* read more

When it comes to indoor mini-golf this might be the best option near the Philly proper, and it's also pretty easy to enjoy all of the games that they have! I first discovered Monster Golf when our squad visited Forgotten Boardwalk Brewing (review coming later) right across the street. When we did we could help but not the MONSTER sign emanating from the other side. The intrigue had us so curious to the point that we needed to do a search of what it was, and when it came up as a black light mini-golf spot that also did bowling, arcade games, and laser tag we knew that we were sold on checking it out for a future visit. That time came when we were trying to round out birthday week plans and we found that things like the mega karaoke party we wanted to do were still largely on hold due to Covid-19. Monster Golf felt perfect because we were looking for some socially distanced fun in the afternoon near a restaurant or brewery that we could enjoy afterward. And when it came down to it MG and Forgotten Boardwalk were a perfect combo for that! I give four stars to this monster time because I'm an old-school arcade purist who prefers Ms. Pacman, fighting games, and pinball to the new school prize-grabbing machines. And the closest thing they had to that was a new fandangled 3D version of Spaced Invaders. But I did enjoy getting reacquainted with Skeeball while waiting for our turn at golf, and I also enjoyed a new vice of playing some video bowling. There were some elements of mini-golf that felt crammed together, and there were a couple of holes that had too much of a wait time. But I didn't feel that unbearable thanks to my crew of 20 strong, and the staff did do a pretty good job of moving things through within a reasonable time frame despite the crowd. While I do normally prefer outdoor mini-golf, I really enjoyed the blacklight artwork, secret elements, and spooky stuff that Monster Golf included. They even have a spooky clown and a giant ogre coming right at you bro! for $20 bucks a person, we enjoyed a full 18 hole round of minigolf, $10 of arcade games as an added bonus, and plenty of eclectic works of art (I probably could of just let the photos speak for themselves). For a good afternoon of fun at a reasonable price Monster Golf is pretty hard to beat! read more

This is probably a great place for kids but definitely not what we had in mind for a bunch of adults to play mini-golf. It's a a big arcade with this random but not terribly interesting mini golf course in the back. We still had fun but we'll probably skip this one next time. Although if you have kids and want to have a fun day out this place looked like it was great for that! This was the only local indoor mini golf I found. I would check group on for any discounts. The place is not huge but they have various sections: VR, arcade and golf. The entire setting is glow in the dark. Once you pay they give you a club and a ball. Then you are off to the races. We were a group of 7 and it took us a little over an hour to play each hole. Some areas were easier than others so we did try to rush as to not have others waiting. I enjoyed myself as this was a decent family night out. read more

This might sound insane especially during covid, but me and my family love Monster Mini Golf. I came across MMG on Groupon, that's how I found out they exist. I bought one thru Groupon but never got to used it, because of covid, it expired. But that's ok, it definitely didn't stops us from trying out. First time going, not much of a crowd, it was great. Me and hubby had a little date night, it was really fun. It was so much fun that we brought our little one the next week so she can join the fun too! She hated mini golf due to a previous experience, but for some reason , she start to like mini golf, hooray! We return for the third week, but this time, we play with arcades too. I went here on a Saturday night so the place was packed, as to be expected. They really do the theme-there's Halloweenish props and tons of monster themed, glow in the dark artwork. The artwork has a local theme (like a glow in the dark Kelly Ripa called a Kelly Reaper) which is a nice touch. The biggest downside is that the course is very tight. This means that other golfers will sometimes walk on your green as they have nowhere to stand on their own or you'll finish a hole and awkwardly have nowhere to stand while you wait for the next one to clear. It's a minor annoyance but could easily have been solved with just a little bit more room. read more

The mini golf is all on flat ground with some really cool black light glowing monsters themes that were well put together. Everything was kinda silly but just had a nice artsy vibe for fam-fun style aimed for adults and kids alike. The game wasn't overly challenging and for 2 adults who didn't rush, it lasted 1 1/2 hour. He won :( WOMP WOMP! Cheater. My golf fun put-put was on a Sat afternoon date during 90 degree weather. A great way to kill some time from rain/heat and easy fun. It's also right near a small museum (?) and brewery. The price was $11 for regular price adults; 9 for "little monsters". (See Groupon$ saver) They do not have food onsite but they do have private parties, a few arcade games($) and photobooth. I'm guessing they may eventually add more. We came just in time before a huge crowd of random groups and double person parties came in. Staff had to hold back the entrance line so no one was on top of the group ahead. We went to play mini golf and when we were done, we thought we would play 2 rounds of bowling- which for 2 people it was $20.00. We paid our $20.00 only for the machines to be broke. We asked for our money back since we were unable to play and we were told no. So, I contacted the owner Ranid Lister and he said he would mail refund check in the amount of $20.00. I provided my address as requested. Now two weeks have past and still no refund. The place is a rip off. If your machines are not working, you should at least put an out of order sign on them. Such an awesome spot!! I discovered it through Facebook and decided to go with my boyfriend. It was way more fun than I imagined! We walk in and we're surprised to see an arcade as well! The way the mini golf was set up inside was also really cool. We bought two mini golf tickets ($12) and got in line. The way everything glowed with the black lights was awesome. The holes were very fun and challenging and made for a good game! We got held up in line behind families but everyone seemed to stay 6 ish feet apart and we're nice! After we golfed, we headed towards the arcade games. We played almost all of them and had so much fun! They also had a crane and a photo booth that you could take a picture from the outside. We made so many awesome memories! We unfortunately didn't have enough time to do the laser maze, but it is only $3 and it is 100% on our list to come back and do (with friends!!) Pretty cool place to spend some family or friend time. Other than a random date night I couldn't see myself here without a child or YA. The glow is a nice change up. It is not too dark and safe. There is a decent amount of arcade games for prizes. With the game card with a family of 4 (paid 3 - toddler) we spent about $55. We opted not to take score obviously we had too many teachable moments. The sound effects and that huge electronic troll had my boys in fear. I personally enjoyed it. They carried the theme through and through. The games were all over and fun. And with the two the $20 card was plenty. We could have done more, but if there were a crowd with maneuvering around other children and parents this would have been more than enough. Thank you Groupon for helping me discover Monster Mini Golf! I was looking for something to do with a group of children, of a variety of ages. Something that would be both exciting and entertaining for the "majority" of the group because how can you 100% please 5 children between the ages of 4 and 13 all at once?? Anywho...This place was beyond any of our expectations. There was ample parking, the staff were pleasant/informative, and the overall experience was superb. We spent the majority of the time trying to keep up will the balls that went flying all over the place, so we weren't concerned with scores at all. It seemed like the course would be over quickly, but once the competitive spirits get awakened.... SO much fun! We also played a few games, they had a VR experience, bowling and a few other things to checkout. This is such a gem of an establishment and literally such a fun place to hang out. I've been here a few times now and we always have a blast playing the arcade games as well as a round of minigolf. I am only taking one star off for the insensitive (although I think it is totally unintentional) change in Muhammad Ali's name. I know they did it to make a pun, but Muhammad Ali is a very important and highly respected modern Muslim figure in American history. He is also famous for being the first celebrity to refuse to let his star be on the floor in Hollywood's Walk of Fame due to his respect for his name. I really wish they would change it and erase the "boo" and make a pun about something else. This place was so fun, the mini golf course had a little bit of easy, and a little bit of challenging. My friend and I did bowling, arcade games, and VR. Went here with five kids ages 7 through 12 and got accosted by another patron angry we weren't golfing fast enough. The large man got right in my face (I'm a petite woman), maskless and cursed at me, in front of our kids, and then threatened my friend asking to fight in the parking lot. You in to see the arcade, which looks fun and exciting. Looks and execution are different things. There are only 12-15 arcade games, so your kids will get bored easily. The queue for golf is poorly managed and people ignore the rules constantly, so your wait time will vary. Stumbled upon this place after driving behind the Discovery Museum. There is a banner on the back of the building. The place is still pretty new, so I assume a larger sign will be placed on the building soon. Each round of golf is $11 per person. There are 18 holes on the flat course covered in black lights. There are a few arcade games and some party rooms for birthdays. There is not a cafe inside, but there are 2 vending machines. The decorations were unique, but was lacking a bit in most of the areas. The course took my wife and I about 25 minutes to complete, so it was a short visit. I wish we looked on Groupon prior as I found 2 rounds of golf for $10 today. I will make sure to look at Groupon next time before returning as you can't pass up the deals. Just felt the $11 per person for about 20 minutes of golf was a bit much, but we had fun. Really cool place for kids and adults. I played mini golf first it was great. I liked the extra scare factor. The game card was fairly priced. All the games kept the kids entertained. There is a maze and VR which both are great additions. Also during covid-19 I did see the workers out on the gaming floor wiping down all of the stations after kids were done. New venue that opened in South Jersey with an interesting concept. It's located right next to the well established Discovery Museum on Springdale Road. Brought my family here a few times on slow weekends when you're trying to find something for your 5 year old son to do. I like the concept, it's like a glow in the dark rave but it's mini golfing. The holes are well decorated but some of the obstacles don't really make sense but that's not really the point, it's just meant to keep your kids occupied which certainly did the job. They also have a decent arcade with your typical games. Overall, this is a good addition to the area as it allows another venue in the winter. read more

Walking into the place you can tell it's a super beloved place- super clean, creative, and immersive. While the building is on the smaller side, they utilize the space amazingly to fit in all of the activities and decorations.
