They barely seem apologetic and don't say a word about why I was sent a text message to confirm an appt that no longer existed. The new staff is awful. Avoid this mess of a practice at all costs! I will find a new dermatologist that respects their clients and their time.

But after trying different doctors, I decided that I would rather go to someone that is trusted; and what a great decision. He spent over an hour explaining various options to me, did an examination, reviewed some photographs, and was honest about what he could and could not provide. There was no hard sell, but rather an array of choices from which to choose. I have been to other MDs who were pushy and that seemed unprofessional. They would talk about my poorly aging skin in a critical way. I suppose it was intended to motivate me take care of that under their scalpels, but it made me uncomfortable. No one knows my skin better than I do, and I do not need to feel worse. I have been looking for solutions, not confirmation of the problems. In contrast, Dr. Lange did not comment in the same way. Instead, he told me what he could offer. I appreciated Annrika who explained the financial part of the practice - again, no hard sell, just the facts. The office staff was friendly and efficient, and the office space is clean and beautifully designed. I tried explaining that I've had severe reactions to a number of drugs but he didn't want to hear it and handed me a stack of papers nearly 3/4 inch thick about the drugs he says i should be taking. I personally believe he never reviewed the list of drugs i was currently taking. So my entire double appointment was a commercial. Do what you want but I'd NEVER recommend Randolph Dermatology to anyone. I'd rate them in the negative numbers but this site doesn't allow that.

Was told minoxidil would be a good treatment for me even though I have been on it for 8 months and have only been thinned out and receded more. anyone familiar with these conditions would understand why minoxidil on its own is extremely inadequate. He just does not seem familiar with the various presentations of these conditions or up to date on the science and treatments. unfortunate
