For the most part, everyone I've had has been great, and you can usually walk in with little to no wait and get a really good deep tissue massage. I've come here so many times with a knot in my shoulder or neck pain, and they've helped relieve so much of it. This isn't necessarily the place you come for a luxury spa experience or the aesthetics you come here because you want a genuinely good massage at a great price. Wow, she really worked out all the knots I had, and after my session with her I finally felt relief. They were able to see me the same day within an hour of me calling and the total was $50. Bring cash to pay as this spot is old school. While I won't say it is the most glamourous of spas, it is a great price and they do a good job. There is a parking lot attached to the building with a good amount of spaces.

After our treatments, my sister realized she had forgotten her bathing suit. Jeremiah and Tammy kindly gave us detailed directions to a nearby Ross and even explained how to use the trolley to get there. What impressed us even more was how safely and carefully they held onto all of our belongings while we stepped out shopping in the city. When we returned, they graciously allowed us to use a room to change so we could continue enjoying the day at the pool. Tammy then escorted us to the beautiful 9th-floor pool deck and gave us a full tour, showing us where everything was located, including towels, sunscreen, and lotion. She introduced us to Alejandro and another wonderful cabana employee who quickly set us up with comfortable lounge chairs and an umbrella. We were also treated to a complimentary birthday guava mimosa, which was absolutely delicious! We ordered chicken wings, a burger, and fries, and everything was amazing. The burger was especially huge, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. By the end of the day, we felt completely relaxed, pampered, and appreciated. Every single staff member we encountered went above and beyond to make my birthday feel special. No lockers, no saunas, no bathrooms on board (except in the treatment room). My massage was very good, if you just want that then you'll be fine. When I first arrived, I found a locked door and no attendant, never a good idea. The place is very clean and everything was very professional. There are a lot of options for the type of prices they are asking for here, you may want to consider what experience you want from a spa before coning here.

Plus they were part of the AMEX Hotel Collection and a hotel group we know and have had good experiences with (IHG). Generally though, Epic isn't horrible, it's just lost some of the luster it once had unfortunately. First off, all of the team here we've come across have been great. Friendly, welcoming, etc. Service for the most part has been solid so far. Where they've fallen down is related to the space itself. The building isn't as striking as it once was. You walk in and the high ceilings and wide spaces are still pretty impressive. Waterfront views and vibes are great. Thing is, the unique elements aren't really there like I remember. Compared to other properties in this category, that stood out. But not a huge issue for us. Zuma is a vibe, unfortunately, Area 31 is under renovation (at least the restaurant area). When we got to the room. It wasn't bad. Good size, decently appointed. It wasn't completely worn but it definitely felt aged. The furniture is showing its age some. Cleaning was just ok and seemed a little rushed. It wasn't nasty so don't want to overemphasize too much. Curtains seem like they've been in service a while. Things like pillows were pretty flat. Things like the privacy button/door bell wasn't functioning so we had to ask for a privacy hang tag. Again, none of this was abysmal, just not what we expected and could have been better. But again, not horrible enough for us to pack up and walk out. I'd give the room a B-, my wife gave it a C+. We got a room on a higher floor with a sizable balcony which was a nice touch. Looks a little like maintenance on it was also rushed. Overall, I think Epic still has "good bones" and a ton of potential to get back to its previous days. The team has been great and, to me, that's always a great foundation.

I absolutely LOVE Lauren's Face the Day!! I have been going to Gloria Taboada for more than six years and have had nothing but wonderful experiences. Through her expertise, she's made my skin look younger and fresher than it did in my teens. Every time I leave the spa my face is rejuvenated and my skin looks impeccable!! They have the best Pevonia products and great treatments. I recently did the micro treatment and was AMAZED on how soft she left my skin. I also go to Gloria to shape my eyebrows. She leaves them perfect every time!! I wouldn't trust anyone else to touch them. I wish I could go to Lauren's Spa everyday. I love the ambiance and stress free atmosphere. From the minute I walk in I feel 100% relaxed. I recently moved to Latin America, but go home to Miami just to do my facials and eyebrows at Lauren's! I have been to many spas around Miami, LA and NYC and none of them compare to the experiences and treatments Lauren's offers! You are received by Samantha who is so helpfull and sweet. You get a glass of Mimosa before you get your facial done. My facial was done with Gloria. She was excellent. She treated me like a princess. She was knowledgeable and really went to the detail in doing my facial. She explained all the process of it and what she was putting into my face, and even gave me recommendations to keep my skin fresh and radiant. Overall, my experience with this place was awesome. I have been going to Gloria for over 5 years and ever since then, I DO NOT let anyone else touch my face. My sister, Caterina actually recommended I try her and that is the best advice she has ever given me. Gloria is extremely nice and knowledgeable and every time I leave, my face is glowing. I constantly get compliments on my face tone and how young I look for my age (I know Gloria is the secret to all of this). Both her and Lauren, the owner, always are very welcoming and treat me like family.
