It's tucked away in the back of a hair salon. Tass delivered both of my services. She was kind and easy to talk to. We had a great mix of conversation and silence during my massage and facial. I had such a lovely experience today! Opted for an aromatherapy massage and a facial. I requested both to be done by a female and Tass was wonderful. While she gave me a full body massage we engaged in pleasant conversation for the first half and beautiful silence for the second half, so I enjoyed the relaxing music and exquisite aromas while Tass worked on my back and legs. Then came the facial, which was also very relaxing and very complete. Tass not only did the work, she discussed with me things that are important for a holistic approach to health, such as nutrition and exercise. All in all a really great experience. Visited this cute cozy spa in Coral Gables and enjoyed a 50 minute massage by Pecan herself! It was absolutely perfect as she knew to focus on the most tense parts of my body and loosened up the stiffness in my neck and back! Her and her husband Don have been in the spa and massage industry for over 18 years, and you can feel the magic in her hands! I signed up to their mailing list to stay on top of all the updates (FYI! So knowledgeable, so clean & she always leaves my face feeling sensational. Pecan's is a gem of a Spa- before Covid they were top of the line service and to see all of the measures they put in place to keep the space sterile and yet still welcoming is truly impressive. It is the best service and quality work is done 100% of the time. The spa has 3 rooms total and I love that about it- small feeling with the best products and tools. I have never been there when another person was which is also nice. The space is extremely clean and I felt comfortable and relaxed. Rates- extremely fair and value for the quality I would pay double! I canceled massage envy membership to get there's because both Tess and Don are miracle workers. It's consistent quality. This past weekend I went to Pecan's Day Spa for the first time, and it certainly won't be my last time. I was gifted a certificate and felt unsure about what to book. I called and spoke with Tass, who walked me through their services and helped me decide on the Deep Tissue Massage and the Signature Facial. When I arrived I was greeted by Tass and she was the one who guided me through my facial and massage. The facility inside is beautiful, clean, and well kept. It wasn't busy, but I was pleasantly surprised to see a group of 3-4 friends, getting their hair done, sharing and laughing together. It was clear to me that this was a spot where people came to unwind. The room where I received my facial and massage was peaceful and truly set the mood for a calm, revitalizing experience. Tass was wonderful in keeping the balance between chatting and silence. She communicated how the services would go and what she would be doing, which made me feel comfortable and allowed me to let go, thinking about nothing else but my relaxation. I've been to Pecan's Day Spa for massages with Don several times and he officially has earned his place as my only go-to masseuse. I went to Don with acute pain that was severely debilitating. Don was able to identify the source of my pain and tremendously help make me feel better. At the end of the massage, he recommended exercises to help work on the pain from home. He is a great guy, highly knowledgeable and able to assess when the client wants to talk and when they just want to be quiet and enjoy the massage. Facials with Tess are equally awesome. Among the highlights - she does a great job with extractions, uses soothing products and gives a mean mini massage at the end. Absolutely the best facial and 80 minute deep tissue that I have ever received. My face never felt better. Extraction were done with very carefully and my face is free of clogged pours and refreshed. After a successful facial I decided to book a deep tissue massage two weeks later and I was very happy with the service. Boy did I need it. Pecan's Day Spa is a little gem tucked away in a drab medical office building on Red Road in South Miami (south of Sunset Place). Go through their door and you are in a different world! Tranquil, relaxing, and very clean. Ahhh. Pecan, Don, and Priscilla are some of the best massage therapists in town! Pecan also does a wonderful facial, and offers a full line of Dermalogica products, which are fantastic. They offer a monthly massage club, which makes the massages even more affordable.
