I, a blissful dope, have been posting the baked goods I bought at this shared storefront under Steger's page and wish to rectify my error. If you read nothing else, please do yourself a favor and try the lemon iced butter cookie here. It is my overall, consistent favorite. It is perfect. I've never special ordered for any occasion, just walked into the storefront on a whim--well, once for an emergency Thanksgiving pie, thank goodness they still had a couple left. Muffins, cookies, slices of amazing cakes, chocolate chip banana bread, and that one fabulous pecan pie I mentioned. Today I shared a huge whoopie pie the size of my face with some co-workers and they all went nuts. So worth trying! We have orders 2 times from Lauren. The cake is unbelievably good. Some of the best chocolate cake we have ever had. The pecan pie is incredible. The best I have ever had. Apple pie was really good, but my husband compares them to his mom's apple pie and not much is better than that but Lauren's is definitely 2 nd to that. We will be ordering again no doubt. I popped into this cute bakery while I was waiting on my food next door. Robin was pretty knowledgeable about what to order and shared her favorites. I tried the sour cream coffee cake, chocolate chip cookie and lemon glaze cookie (which is free your first time at the bakery). They were all delicious, my favorite dessert was the sour cream coffee cake. I love that they have dinner options, as well as vegan and vegetarian options. There is plenty of parking available. I'll definitely have to come here again, to try their famous chili. read more

Yelp is reporting this bakery as closed, but Lauren went above and beyond to make and deliver a gorgeous cake and lemon cookies to my son in quarantine. The cake is GORGEOUS, and my son says it is delicious. I especially appreciate her working with me long distance to get the birthday surprise to him. Lauren made my wedding cakes and all of our guests raved about them. I didn't really know what I wanted so we decided on three different single layer cakes, one chocolate, one vanilla and one lemon and all were fantastic! She was very accommodating and added my flowers to the cake to make them perfect!! read more

I went here on the way home one day, expecting a nice little bakery to satisfy my sweet tooth. I did go during business hours. When I arrived, I was greatly disappointed. It is located in a very small strip center. The business was closed. Not sure if they went out of business or not. When I looked inside, there was complete disarray. Very messy, and unorganized, and nothing in there really that would suggest they are a bakery. I would not recommend this place at all. Don't waste your time. read more

Lauren made a German Chocolate Cake and some Blondies for my birthday party this week. I loved the Blondies....very moist and delicious. But let me tell you....that is the best German Chocolate cake I have ever had. She delivered it freshly made right as my party started too. ALL of my guests wanted to know where I had gotten the cake. One of my guests asked for a second piece! I have had several of her desserts at Summermoon Coffeehouse as well, and have liked everything I have tried. And on top of all that, she is extremely nice and pleasant to work with. This is a very sweet bakery with outstanding service. We actually stopped by right before closing just to grab a dessert, which we felt kind of bad about, but the ladies did not seem impatient at all. They were smiling and took their time.
