I am new to the area so emailed Sharon at Delicate Electrolysis for an appointment. She got back…read moreto me promptly and we were going back and forth in email as I asked different questions (about appointment time, and whether I could have any forms emailed to me ahead of time to fill out and send back to her). The last email from her was abrupt, and I quote: "I am sorry Kathleen. I think it best that you go to someone else for treatment." ?? I had no idea what had gone wrong, and emailed her back simply to acknowledge her email and to apologize if I offended her in some way. Bizarre! 6/3/16 - I didn't see Sharon's response to my review until yesterday. I emailed her a note letting her know this was a good example of how email communication can be misunderstood. I have a very different take on events than what she describes. I told her I wished she had called me before her abrupt email to clarify what was going on. I could have called her as well, but was too taken aback by her abrupt response to do so. I am very reluctant to write bad reviews but do so when I am extremely disappointed by a product or service. I wish her the best with her business.

It was so neat and clean I asked her if she had just had it redone. She said that she has been working out of that space for 14 years. It looked like it had just been painted and new carpet put it. She was extremely professional and I learned more about electrolysis than I will ever remember in her 1/2 hour consultation. That was before the 15 minute treatment that I had. She was also very warm and welcoming. Sharon works part time and really books up all the spots that she has available, so it was a little hard to get that first appointment in. But once you have your first appointment then you are all set. My next appointment is in 3 weeks and I had many choices to choose from.

Iris was wonderful. I am 70 and have never had electrolysis before. She explained everything…read morebeforehand and made me feel very comfortable about the whole process. Why didn't I do this before! It is less painful than plucking and permanent! The space is neat, clean, and very relaxing. I will definitely book with Iris again.

Wish Electrolysis has changed my life. As a 52 year old woman with Greek, and French ancestry along…read morewith hormonal imbalances, the nonstop battle with hair removal has been waging for 20 years. Melissa has helped me regain self confidence by zapping away the coarse thick hairs, both dark and white. I have had three weeks of two hour sessions to clear the field. Soon, it will switch to one hour and eventually it will be half hour until the problem has resolved. But the dark bristles that plagued me are showing no sign of regrowth at 3 weeks post treatment, and the white hairs are reducing. It will take multiple treatments to destroy the follicles permanently, but if it means smooth, beautiful skin again. I'm in. What does it feel like? Does it hurt? Like all things in life, it is slightly painful. If you're reading this, you are likely used to the pain of tweezingor waxing. If you tolerate that, you'll be fine. There is a little tingle, a little noise (think video game sounds), and then she pulls the hair out. Throughout the treatment, you get wiped down with witch hazel to decrease inflammation and clear the hairs off. At the end of the treatment, you'll get some nice face balm to help take out the sting. It's not an instant fix, and you do have to let your lady beard/mustache grow 24-48 hours to allow the hair to burst through the skin and be able to grasp, though she can grab ingrown hairs too! This is ideal for ladies like me with hormonal hair, guys also who want a clean jaw line, the transgendered community who would like freedom from shaving. I, myself , would like to campaign against the stigma of facial hair. It has always been a source of embarrassment and shame. Ladies, just say yes to yourself. Book an appointment today. You are worth it!
