According to the fact sheet, this area is 11.2 acres. There's just large amounts of lawn where you can have an isolated picnic, and it's a fairly long stroll for a neighborhood park. It's cool that it runs next to a mini creek, closer to the residential houses. For sports, there are areas for sand volleyball, basketball, tennis (four courts), soccer, and baseball (which looked well maintained, with bleachers). There's a large playground with tanbark and picnic tables. There is an additional covered pavilion (technically you need to contact a city official to reserve this) with picnic tables and small coal barbecue pits, though they looked pretty rusty and dirty. Next to these tables is this amphitheater-like section. Parking is somewhat in a small lot, but there's street parking all over the perimeter that's readily available. The bathroom size is above average, for a neighborhood park. The main park in Foster City is superior, but this park is not bad if you want more seclusion, in some sense. It's right next to a highly trafficked road, but expansive enough to accommodate many parties without bumping into each other.

The smaller playground for toddlers has a climbing structure, seesaw, swings, and some pretend play structures. The older childrens playground has alot for big kids to stay busy and playing: slides, climbing structure, monkey bars, sliding zipline, and swings. They even have a water play area that is active during the warmer months of the year. Their restroom area is clean and the picnic areas around are well kept with adequate waste receptacles. There is plenty of parking around the park as well. Overall, this is a great park to enjoy with your family, especially when the weather is nice and warm!

Restrooms were well stocked and as clean as one would expect for public facilities with soap to wash your hands and an electric hand dryer. They have areas like tennis fields, I think a baseball field, and especially gardens. It's quite rare to find a park that has gardens or maybe I don't often come to parks that do have them. I also like how nice the park is and how organized it looks. I also see that they're doing some construction including a children's playground which just started to be constructed over a year ago. Hopefully, there are going to be some improvements the next time I visit.

I was pleasantly surprised. Parking in the residential area vs coming coming from the busy street there is limited reserved parking. When we arrived there was no body there but soon more families came. I felt safe and the foot traffic through the park was folks going on across the street to the shopping area or resident living near by coming in. The play structure was cool. There is an older kid section and more of a young kid area with swings and a mini house. There is a grass area for kids to play around and picnic tables. The park itself was clean and well kept. I truly was surprised by it. The kids called it the Ronald McDonald park since the park is red and yellow color. This is a nice park to come. For smaller baby infants may not be suitable but more for pre-k and above. The park gets a lot of sun and there are trees to keep cool in the shade with benches there to relax. It was a nice find to entertain the kids.

Other parents and kids were nice, but there were a few people just using the park as a walk through. There are two play structures. The smaller one is not great for little ones and the bigger one is scary big. The park is right along a busy street and has a good gate system blocking access. Unfortunately, on the other side near the houses, the fencing has two open paths. No restroom.

I hiked through Eaton Park to Big Canyon Park to Crestview Park. It's a really pretty park and super family friendly. I'd recommend visiting this park if you live in Redwood City. There is parking at the entrance and has beautiful views at the north end of the park with shade from eucalyptus trees.

Nice little park in the middle of 3-4M dollar homes…read more Pros: Semi-fenced, very clean playground with little kid and big kid structures, and a sand pit. Kids and their parents have been really respectful of masking up and being cautious. Nice, neat soccer field with a rubber track - great for doing your laps while being able to see your kids. Umbrella shaded picnic tables - good for lunchin' before or after playtime. Garbage cans at the ready. Exceedingly safe, apparently -- I left my diaper bag here once with my phone in it O_O and found it untouched in the same place that night! Dogs allowed, but not a lot of walking space for them. Everyone seems to respectfully pick up after their dog, which is great. Cons: WINDY!!! If it's windy in flatlands, it is VERY WINDY here! I thought I was dealing with a breezy day close to downtown, but you come up here and I half expected farm animals and fence posts to be flying around! Small parking lot that is often packed on the weekends. Expect to park roadside on steep hills at popular times. Playground is pretty small compared to some of the bigger ones like Burton in SC or Red Morton's Magical Bridge.
