James and his wife, Andrea are very friendly and fun, as well as quite helpful; before, during and after the photoshoot. The makeup artist for this shoot was one of Houston's finest, Sarah Stafford. She was also quite fantastic to work with! During the shooting experience, I felt like I was being treated like a celebrity. There was tray upon tray of delicious snacks, and amazing wine from a local winery in Kemah. Of which, I got to take a bottle home of my favorite, with a customized commemorative label on it! Along with the bottle of wine, there was a special and specifically curated 'swag bag' given to me with things in it such as a Lavender Vanilla candle (which were lit on set during the shoot) and a gorgeous box of Godiva Chocolate. Aside from the food and goodies part, I felt very comfortable and at ease during the shoot. James and Andrea are both very personable and made the experience a total blast, whereas some shoots I've done in the past had been quite stressful and not a very pleasant experience. Altogether, this made for remarkable images! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the finished product. The Bad Wolf Boudoir team captured me in a way to where I felt so incredibly beautiful and sexy, and I think that every woman deserves to feel that way. I love how my pictures came out, and I look forward to working with Bad Wolf Boudoir in the future!"

How is it that all the 5 star ratings are missing from the reviews and only the negative ones are showing up?? Hmmmm...a little biased? Now on the to the most important part, the actual review. I initially received a Groupon from my husband as a gift to go to Hawt Shots. I am not an insecure woman, however, I am a plus size woman and have had some seriously negative experiences with other photographers. In addition to that, my husband gave me the gift when I was 7 months pregnant with our miracle baby. Every preconceived notion I had about Theresa was blown away. I try not to judge a book by a cover, but my initial thoughts were, "What does this gorgeous, petite, woman, know about posing my pregnant plus size curves?" Boy would she prove me wrong. My photos were amazing and worth every penny. My first session was March 9, 2013. I would come back again to have photos done of my daughter and I together after she was born. Then again for Christmas 2013. I will be back again for our anniversary this year!! I love Theresa's work so much that I gladly volunteer to promote her work, to tell other woman about her, and hand out her cards. She loves her job and she loves helping women fulfill their beauty potential and empowering them. She was made for this job. She loves it and she loves the women she works for. She truly does not care what size you are what your insecurities are. She will help you love parts of you that you didn't know was possible. I only had a small window I could go for a shoot and, even though I wasn't able to give her much notice and she's officially booked through August, she juggled things around to fit me in. I then received a tips email and a reminder email prior to the session. Her studio is quite inconspicuous on the outside. Once inside there's a pleasant sitting area, a makeover room and a lovely boudoir room. Theresa starts by reviewing the process step-by-step including photo purchase options. I really appreciated everything being clarified up front like that. Then off to the boudoir room (no hair/makeup for me this time) and again Theresa carefully reviewed the game plan. 3 wardrobe changes, 3 poses per wardrobe change, and varity within the pose (look up, look at me, look over your shoulder, that sort of thing). Theresa demonstrated the poses and had lots of patience with me as I did my best to replicate them :-) The hour flew by and the pace was fast, yet eveything was relaxed and we had fun along the way chitchatting about all sorts of stuff. She shared some raw results in her viewfinder which were outstanding. I'm a long way from photogenic but Theresa obviously knows just what to do to accenuate your positives, hide your negatives and make you look good. Looking at her work on her web site and Facebook page she spends a lot of painstaking time on retouching to ensure providing results that delight.

It was the first time a lot of our friends and family were getting to see our six-week-old, and so I wanted a photographer there so that we could all enjoy the party and not worry about taking pictures and exchanging them later. Taylor was recommended to me by someone in my moms' group and she was really personable and quick to respond when I was inquiring about her services and firming up the time. I met her for the first time the day of the party and she was fantastic. She got so many pictures, but we almost didn't notice her. She was inconspicuous and down on the floor getting pictures of the children on their level and amazing photos of our friends and family holding our daughter in the most natural setting. She got pictures of everybody in addition to special details of the party decorations. My toddler son just loved her and she got some really fun pictures of him. We got an edited CD of the pictures as well as a password protected gallery a few weeks later and were very pleased. When it came time to take some milestone family photos this summer, I contacted Taylor again. She was able to book me at my requested appointment time within a week and together we chose a location (the Blue Trees on Allen Parkway). I let her know I needed a quick turnaround on the pictures ahead of time and yet again she delivered. The shoot itself was so much fun. She is so relaxed and has so much patience, more so than I'd seen with any other photographer that's done our family's pictures in the past. When my son started to get a little weary about 3/4 the way through, Taylor whipped out some bubbles and all the sudden he got a second wind. It's so nice that not only do I have some beautiful pictures, but some fun memories of the day. It was really important to me to have a variety of pictures and she delivered with a gallery of over 100 photos. I am thrilled with each one and so glad I went with her extra full CD add on to the package. Taylor is both professional AND creative. She's great to work with and delivers more than the standard family photos. They are truly special. Her fine art photography is gorgeous as well and she even manages to be a great event photographer. Kat has such a cool personality that you are immediately disarmed and ready to make magic. As we went through the day and I saw myself, I commented that she was a magician because I felt totally transformed into my better self. To start the day, I was prepped by her make-up artist who was phenomenal. During the session, she gave great directions and posed me to get the best angles for the photos. The preview I saw of the photos (even without retouching) were gorgeous. It made me feel so good and confident about myself. I can't say enough about my experience. You will not be disappointed and I have already started recruiting my girls to do this. Even if it's just for them alone! Women deserve to be dolled up and have our pictures taken.
