There was ample seating available. The location is convenient as well. I ordered an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese. Although they were out of a regular everything, they did have a whole wheat variety, which is what I ended up substituting it with. The bagel was fine, nothing to write home about. I have heard that their bagels are fantastic so I will probably be back to try a different variety! My understanding is that they sell bagels from College Town Bagels, which I have not tried on its own yet. Note that they call their everything bagels "Long Island Bagels." I also ordered an iced matcha with vanilla and oatmilk. This was the perfect matcha in my opinion! Perfect amount of sweetness, the matcha flavor was spot on, and the oat milk was creamy. This is one of the better matchas I have tried. Overall, pleasant experience and I would like to try more of what they have to offer! From the outset, Kim was exceptional - she was aware that an offsite - park setting had its challenges, and given our menu suggestions, meant creative chef work along with special logistical support. I could not have asked for a more professional, supportive partner for our event - we were on the phone a dozen times; we met personally to cover final details (she even visited Myer's Park and took photos for us!!) to work out last minute issues such as decorating picnic tables; mason jar flower arrangements; and a dozen other fine details. The food - and we are foodies - was one of the best Taco Bars (Mexican with creative sauces, balanced with vegetarian salads) - This was quality restaurant-level offerings provided at our Cayuga Lakeside Pavilion - I can only note the repeat lineup from our over 100 guests as proof that they couldn't get enough of the chef's creations. Our guests were coming up to me to comment about the amazing food! To sum up, our event was an outstanding success (fyi: Ithaca also baked the wedding cake - equally superb). Kim worked with us through all the steps; was available whenever we needed to chat; offered professional advice; and personally, managed the event (she was on site with us from late afternoon until our event concluded late in the evening). I think that's called the Washington Park neighborhood, or west-Downtown. For pickup, we parked on Meadow. To eat in, there's a pretty large parking lot on Court Street. We saw what looked like more than 40 pastries in the display case, more than 15 bagel varieties, smoothies, teas, lemonade, and a host of creative coffee beverages. Of course, i got an espresso, neat. Rich, dense, dark, hot, perfectly drawn. And a regular Americano with oat milk. Fresh and tasty. Got a generously decorated well-crisped BLT to-go. We split that enormous blueberry, strawberry, kiwi tart. I wont even tell you what we added on top, but i'll say it was nearly next door ;-) Quick friendly service. The happy chatter of well-caffeinated well-sugared people. We even saved a fellow pastry-aficionado from forgetting their purse!

It can easily be missed due to the small signage outside the shop, but if you keep a look out for the exclamation point logo on the side of the building, it's easier to locate. They sell a variety of their coffee blends and quite a few pastries. It's such a small place that they do not have any tables to enjoy your food or drink purchase, so grab and go is pretty much your only choice. Service was quick and friendly. We got an Americano, a mocha, and a piece of their coffee cake. While none of them may win any awards, they were a solid substitute for Starbucks which doesn't have much of a presence in town (plus you're sporting a local business). While I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to visit Gimme! Coffee, it's worth a stop if you're in the area and in need of a caffeine fix.

We drove over 2 hours that day to be able to meet with her for the tasting just to have her disappear. I'm glad she didn't take my money and disappear, however, this is inexcusable. I would never recommend her to friend because I have no reason to trust that she will follow through. I do remember that she mentioned during our meeting that I should get the deposit to her quickly because another person recently inquired about the same wedding date. My best guess is that she got a more expensive order and ditched us. Either way, that is terrible business etiquette. Not only did I waste my time driving to meet her, but also waiting on her response when she never intended to fulfill my order in the first place. If you're looking to hire a baker, do yourself a favor and keep looking. I'm sure there are many more trustworthy ones.
