It was my daughter's 21st birthday and I live in California. To make the day special I wanted to get a really good cake. I contacted Racquel and she asked what kind of cake my daughter might like. Here in San Jose there was a bakery called Aki's that made a guava cake that was my daughter's favorite. So I asked for a guava cake, even though it was a not flavor listed on the website. I loved reading all the wonderful reviews and I have no doubt the cakes are delicious. Sadly, I did not have a good experience. I filled out the online order form 8 days ahead. I ordered a very small cake, for a simple birthday dinner. I received an immediate response that my order was successfully received. I never received a confirmation email as they said they would send. I then called and left a detailed message several days later. No one responded or called back. I am assuming that my order was simply too small for them, which is understandable, but it would be nice if they would have let me know that. So, for customer service I am giving a poor rating. And sadly, I did not get to try their awesome cakes! read more

So impressed with the cake!!! We requested a low sugar, lactose free cake and it was wonderful! Racquel uses naturally lower in sugar ingredients and substituted coconut milk for regular milk.
