I had been in a pinch as my car ended up needing some help with some connections apparently. So, very obviously know nothing of engine matters! lol so, I looked here on Yelp for a fair and reputable garage for my engine repair and very thankfully found Lau's. They immediately sent a very affordable tow truck and took care of my car the next day. The really nifty part is they didn't try to up-sale me nor use my lack of knowledge or my gender (female) to take advantage me. Just an expedient and quality shop that treats its customers fairly... So, yes!! I highly recommend them. So, as such, word to the wise; it would be very worth ur while to at least call for an estimate? U will know what I mean right away. Cool guy!! read more

My car was completely dead and since I had purchased what I thought to be a good battery just 3 years ago it was discovered my battery was bad. Lau's Tire & Auto explained to me what was my car's issue the battery was no good, a new battery and a cable were needed and replaced they explained its warranty, I'm thankful it wasnt more costly. read more

Brought my car in on a Tuesday and after a cursory check of my belts and pulleys was told that they could fix the issue but could not get me in that day and to bring it back first thing the following day. I brought the car in bright and early and felt confident they could get my issue resolved. Received a call a few hours later stating they couldn't in fact fix the issue because they lacked some specialty tools and would need to order parts and was told my car would need to be take elsewhere. Just frustrated that was told one thing one day and something else the next and was charged for them not being able to fix anything after being told they could. read more

I made the mistake of taking my car here for a flat tire because it was the closest one in my AAA network. 2 weeks of horrible service and excuses for treating me like a criminal later and I finally got my car back with a bill 3x what it should have been. I would have rather paid full price for a tow truck to take my car anywhere else. read more

after taking my car in for a front end alignment for more than 100.00. I got a call from one of the other guys telling me I would have to pay an addtional 100.00 to complete the alignment. I had brake work done in December and two weeks later my ABS and Brake lights indicator came on. I haven't had time to make it here to have it looked at because I don't get done with work until after they're closed. When I brought my truck in today they told me that it would be about $100 to fix the issue. Before they did the brakes this didn't happen. Not until they touched my truck did this happen. Whatever happened to accountability for work done?! If someone asks me for a recommendation for them I will tell them no..DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT come to this establishment. read more
