He backed down immediately when I challenged him. Perhaps he thought I was a easy target because I am a female senior citizen. He most likely uses that technique on all his customers. First off, let me start by saying how wonderful these two gentlemen are. I mean, seriously, I've had such a hard time finding mechanics that are genuine, patient and most importantly, knowledgeable. I brought them my Charger the other day with a few things that needed to be done. they fixed the brakes, and said they changed the oil. I told them about the catch can that needed to be emptied and they completely missed that. I also asked them to clear a check engine code and they didn't do that either. When my tech moved out of the area i looked up 2 Guys Auto in my area since I driven past it many times. My first appt went smoothly a year ago. The waiting room is comfy and not dirty and rundown like other shops I have been to. I thought this is a quality place. I had another issue a few weeks ago. I was given forthright advice but my battery was still having a charging issue, which as of today was taken care of by Mike who was familiar with my issue. They REMEMBER you and your car's history. He also advised me of my tire pressure and I said I stated I seem have a leak in one. I'm handicapped and can't even bend over to keep filling up my tire every couple weeks. That was taken care of too. Ron at the front desk even helped me up from my chair as I have back and leg issues. That's called great customer service. I even heard Mike on phone with some customers during my wait and he keeps things straight and he also gave me straight up advice about my car maintenance also after repairs were made. Most shops will not even do that. This shop has it all, great customer service, great knowledge about vehicles, and great prices. This shop should be all 5 star reviews. I give customer service on phone 40 hours a week for my job and I get surveys too. Used to come to Two Guys Automotive for my car needs. I was still driving a budget car, not worth much. I needed a muffler change and they quoted me for more than the cars total value... It felt off, so I obviously called other places and sure enough was able to get the repair for less than $400 when Two Guys Automotive tried telling me the repair would cost over $2,100. It actually hurt because everyone I knew that needed car help, I would refer to Two Guys Auto... My caution to everyone is, look up costs of parts online (rockauto) and then just compare those prices to the prices these guys offer you on parts. Not only are they making hundreds on labor an hour, they are sometimes making more in profits on the upcharge of the parts. Also, looking up YouTube videos of the repair your car may need, will give you a better understanding of what work they will be doing. There's been times when I have looked up a video of how something is done, and crazy enough, I was able to do it myself. This obviously wont work with complex car issues, but my example was I had to replace some bulbs and a windshield wiper fluid reservoir. All-in-all it does not sit well with me knowing they viewed me as unaware or not knowledgeable to try and attempt to charge me those prices. Would not recommend this place to people whom are on a budget or are looking for the best advice for their vehicle needs. read more

This place is awesome.  I went there to get an oil change; tire rotation and transmission drain and fill on the truck I recently purchased..  First thing I would like to point out is that when I went to the dealer, they said they would only do a transmission flush.. no flexibility at all.. my normal tech moved. i sought these gust out. these guys were a couple doors down from me. i've had several battery issues. there replaced my battery like 6 months ago no appointment. squeezed me in first priority. attended me last occurence even though they has stacked up appts swapped out my old defective battery. im handicapped and run to stores like a mile away from me. my battery went dead after 20 inches inches of snowfall last weekend. due to my work schedule i wasn't able to get to my car in three days and paid to have it cleared out. 2 days later battery dead again. then when i went on trip to store my dashboard started freaking out, not letting me to shift into reverse without it bucking. i drove straight to them thinking my batt was dead and not accepting a charge as batt light and dashboard lit up. i drove straight there. thinking maybe i need an alternator? Mike the co-owner noticed i only drove 500 miles in last months. i say i only drive like 2 miles for errands since i an handicapped and work from home. they looked at and determined batt is fine, alternator is fine, but with the below 0 degree temps this vehicle is not being driven long enough to recharge the batt fully. i drove it 40 miles to sucessfully fully let the alt charge the batt upon his recommendation i drive it more to help the batt fully recharge. he did it at NO COST and inflated my tires to specs as they were low on air pressure as well. i was sooo happy with the customer service provided i brought then some breakfast. these guys are amazing at their expertise and customer service! read more

I'm naturally skeptical of glowing reviews of businesses, such as 2GA, on popular websites such as this one. Skepticism justified. I arrived on time this afternoon for my appointment -- an appointment for a routine oil change/lube/filter, plus tire rotation. After turning over my vehicle keys to the desk clerk, I stepped over to -- for lack of a better term -- the "waiting area." The area was notably dirty, dingy and dusty. (About 10 minutes after I arrived, a contract cleaning crew also arrived -- with their work clearly cut out for it.) The shop performed the oil change in a reasonable amount of time. Once complete, the desk clerk called me over; accepted my payment -- and then handed me the paperwork as though he was anxious to get rid of me. No explanation of the work performed; no mention of what was, or was not, found during the supposed "safety inspection" -- not even a "thank you" for bringing my business here. The only saving grace I can see here is that there's a GM dealer about two miles south of 2GA -- where, for the same, indifferent service, I would have paid three times as much. At least now, I know to avoid both facilities. read more

I had a great experience with Two Guys Automotive. The only reason I am giving a 4 instead of a 5 is due to the wait time. I called on Monday and they could not get my car in to the shop until Thursday. When I arrived, it did take them about 5 minutes to come from the shop into the lobby to greet me. Everyone I spoke to was very kind and helpful. They called and let me know what the main issue I brought the car in for was and how much it would cost to repair, while also letting me know of other priority fixes, and things that should be fixed but we're not safety concerns. They were very understanding when I selected only the safety concerns and did not push me to get the extra work done on my car. Although they were not open on the weekend, I was still able to pick up my car and they set up a system for me to get my keys when they were closed. The work itself was done in less than a day. I could not pick up same day and they did not charge storing fees. they have a very detailed receipt and noted the additional recommendations that I did not elect to fix on this trip. I would definitely recommend and will be back if I need more auto repairs. read more

I often do my own work on things and have for years. I have had several things done buy TGA. Simple things like serpentine belt that I couldn't get off, and recently the timing belt and guides on out Pilot. They have always been honest, use quality parts, and get things done fast, etc. When we took the Pilot to them, they correctly found the problem, and checked other things and even checked the spark plugs. They said the plugs were good and put them back! We know good and well any other shop would have replaced them- if they needed it or not. For these reasons, I trust the work TGA does to my vehicles. I'm taking my explorer in in the morning developed a loud ticking noise near the Rt sided valve train area. I"m hoping for the best, but expecting the worst. read more

I wish I could give them 10 stars! We have brought both of our cars to Two Guys. I am always skeptical of car mechanics and cringe when something is wrong with our cars. My husband was a diesel mechanic back in the day but now we have a newer Ford hybrid and a Mercedes SUV. Both times I expected the worse and they could have said we needed the works done but they are the most honest down to earth mechanics. There were only minor things wrong both times and we are so grateful especially because we have a large family and kids are expensive enough. I waited a few days to write this review because I was angry, I sat on it and asked others their opinion if they thought I was out of line. It seemed to resonate in the same way with everyone so here I go and perhaps they will think through it before working on the next car. I took my car in before I went on a longer trip and had them look at my car, the engine light was on and I got an oil change, they said I was fine to take the trip but recommended over 600 worth of work...fast forward to a few weeks later, I took it in to get the work done and paid 670 dollars only to be told my engine light was still on and and yes Mam that would be another 50-100 to diagnose that...what??? First and foremost, tell me that at the outset, what if I-have a major problem, my car is older, do you think that may have influenced the decision to put another 670 dollars into it? And the gentlemen on the phone was demeaning to me like I should know all that work I had done wouldn't address the engine light, like duh lady, that's how they made me feel. I'm new to the area and was really hoping I had found a trustworthy mechanic but these guys are your typical nickel and dime them business. I had previously had positive interaction with I believe to be one of the owners, (which is why I gave two as opposed to one star)but the older gentlemen and the other owner that day did not offer anywhere near the same caliber of customer service. Honest, helpful, knowledgeable, and great mechanics and really what more can you ask for in a car mechanic?!? They have a great price for oil changes and can do everything else from brakes, electrical issues (unfortunately my problem!), window tinting, and everything else for your car! They do work on some foreign import models which I think is a plus too. While you wait they have Wifi for you to connect to, cable tv, and a comfy lounge area. Well, about 10 days ago I needed a transmission place to service my 2016 Nissan hatchback after I had to be towed home one evening. I found it was a bit of a challenge to find a shop that had good reviews as well as would agree to service my late model foreign vehicle. Two Guys seemed to fit the bill--and I was not disappointed! First came the diagnosis, which the shop completed fairly quickly while I waited. The mechanic/co-owner, Nate, explained that an internal part of my transmission had failed. This was evidenced by extremely dirty transmission fluid that my own mechanic had recently changed due to the transmission intermitently running roughly. My car may seem fairly new to have transmission problems, but I think that is explained by the fact that my car was used as a rental vehicle before I bought it, and for the past 5 months I have driven for Uber as a part time job and have done a LOT of shifting. Two Guys assured me that my mechanic used the proper special transmission fluid for my vehicle and could not have caused the tranny to fail. After running all of this by a friend who is an expert on cars, I asked Nate if they would install a used transmission with a 90 day warranty that my friend helped me locate. Two Guys actually gave me a much better deal: a used tranny of comparable mileage with a 12 month/12,000 mi. warranty on parts AND labor. Their transmission was twice the price of what my friend found, but having a warranty which included labor (which was about 2/3 of the price of the tranny) was too good to pass up and would likely SAVE me a lot of money if the transmission fails. Two Guys also assured me that they have a Nissan-certified guy on staff (as well as guys certified in most of the major vehicle makes), so I felt very well supported in this major expenditure. Remember, my part time job is driving for Uber, so I need to make doubly sure that repairs to my car keep it running reliably, safely, and economically. Two Guys completed the transmission work sooner than promised, and the tranny has been purring like a kitten since I got it back. Two Guys Automotive performs much more repair work than just transmissions; but if they are THIS good with a specialized large expenditure, I think they can be trusted with other jobs. I certainly can recommend them highly and will definitely have them change my transmission fluid in 30,000 miles! read more
