I had to fight tooth and nail just to get my prescribed.(non narcotic medication. But it was withheld for 5 days You hand very little access to medical. About 7-10 minutes a week. Point is, this place is terribly managed posting fake 5 start reviews on their website. I ended up having to come a complain with the department of health care services. Do yourself a favor and stay away!!!

eriously think twice about sending your child here! The owner Joe had a previous treatment center…read morewith his brother which was shut down due to insurance fraud. I was in this program a year ago and there main focus was money. They not only repetitively lied to my parents they did the same with my insurance. Your child per shift is scored on a scale from 1-10. The staff members are not allowed to give any student higher than a 5. I was put back months in my program here because i got lvl dropped due to not running. I was not running because I was born with a birth defect that causes the bones in my toes to grow different directions. This causes intense pain. I got out of this program by running away. They then told the students the staff member that helped me run away had sexual relations with me. This not only a lie but why would they share it with the students who are trying to work on themselves. If you are looking for a place to actually help your child look onto Anchor Academy in Vanduser Missouri (and it's cheaper). I have actual documents proving that this place is involved in fraud.

The best! Liahona Academy Virgin Campus was a light in the darkness for our family. We were faced,…read morelike so many, findings that our son was drowning in the public school with concerns of truism and beyond. We were not able to get the attention we needed from the public schools. We were not able to progress with traditional or intense outpatient therapies. It was tearing our family apart. This was the hardest decision as a parent ever made but the best decision ever made for our son! We were lucky enough to find Liahona Virgin Campus and connect with Bear, Beverly, Rich and so many others that have turned our sons life around. This is a process that involves full parental involvement and trust in the process which was hard to learn as a mom to give up that power/control. They created an individual plan and environment where our son felt supported and inspired to grow mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. The 'trick' for lack of a better word is to finish the program and not trust that your son is necessarily ready to "come home" earlier than expected. Additionally, he got on track in school while on campus. The wonderful team taught us how to implement effective strategies at home for his success in a gradual transition home process! Even several months after graduation, we have weekly therapy calls and he has ongoing support from the amazing role models at Liahona Virgin Campus that have helped him grow. He is successfully home for several months, attending school, getting great grades, on sports teams, attending church, etc. Most of all my Sean is back! He is back to his silly, fun, happy self! This place is a blessing! Take the leap of faith if needed before things get worse....you will be glad you did. Great program, great people! Stacy (aka: Seans Mom and a Grateful Parent)

They recognize that many adopted kids have attachment issues and need a style of care that is different than other residential treatment centers. For example, they are not penalizing. Each week, we visit our daughter via a Zoom call for family therapy. Our therapist is thoughtful and helpful. We are welcome to visit anytime we want. Every few months Three Points Center offers a "parent weekend" where we get to meet with the staff and learn about how we can help our daughter. The founder, Dr. Norm, is one of the most genuine and neat people I have ever met. Within minutes of talking with him, you can tell his heart is helping these special kids. Adopted kids are special and have special needs. Three Points Center is one one the few places that recognizes this. We need more places like it.

The worst staff i've ever dealt with. GROWN MEN PINNING LITTLE GIRLS INTO THE DIRT FLOOR for restraints. So many injuries all these kids had from being restrained. I threw a PEBBLE at the wall and got pinned to the ground by a supervisor named wyatt. Kindall another supervisor was practically evil. Half the grown adult staff were horrible. and the only staff that was good was the 19/20 year old staff!! This place looks good online with the horses ans stuff. but it's horrible. rod the equine director was amazing. he was the only person helping me hang on. we were fed terribly. if you did a bad thing you'd get meals taken away from you. if you got 3 strikes they'd put kids in a room with no windows no bed nothing just an empty room and you'd sit in there for days. Gosh This whole place got sued and i'm so happy all of us are finally sticking up and speaking out about the abuse. it's hard for me to even talk about this point in my life. the hatred i had for my parents to even give up on me and send me there. that place treated us like it was jail. and the center is all adopted kids. Hi hello i was abused and all kinds of stuff before i was adopted. OFC we are gonna have behavioral issues!! places like this should not exist and i will not say no more on this. i pray you parents don't give up on your children and keep them close.
