I selected the "Golden Cadillac" that comes with a miniature bottle of Grand Marnier inside of it. Very good. My company decided on an array of appetizers for his "main course", while I went with their Fried Salmon (served with Mac and cheese, and collard greens). Omg! So tasty! The pepper was prevalent throughout, but it did not over power the flavor! I make collard greens at home (and learned from one of the best), and even I found theirs to be pretty good! My company selected fried ribs, along with the lobster bites, and crawfish queso dip, and their wings! I tasted what he got, and we both agreed that the wings were "off the chart" delicious with a beautiful straight off the grill smoky flavor! So good that he got another order to go! Lol. What made our experience there amazing was our server Ray (Rajean = think "the 90's TV Show "Living Single"..."smooches"!)...she was the best!! From her hello, to walking us through the menu (as first-timers), her recommendations, her energy, her smile, and her being very relatable. Loved her! My only gripe was the bathrooms, the ladies room needed attention (and could use a spruce all around). It doesn't help that it is a bit small, but yeah, they need to focus some efforts on ensuring it's upkeep. As for seating and parking, there is a bar area and limited seating toward the front of the restaurant, but it does extend to back of the house with additional seating. There is also patio seating as well. Because this place seems popular, it is best to reserve ahead to ensure your seating. Parking is very limited! They do however, offer valet (but at $20+). There is off-street parking, but be careful since this is a residential area and nothing is secure. All in all, I really had a great time and left with my belly full! Definitely worth checking out! The bartender even mentioned about the fries coming out first. But I sat for a longggg time before my side of fries NEVER CAME! At 10:13 I canceled my fries! Terrible service! Went for happy hour for the first time as an out of towner new to Houston and was ignored for 10 mins until I'm literally begging for service. The bartender was rude AF and even charged happy hour at full price. Had a whole attitude that I wanted the correct pricing and told me that's the price. Offered no water just choking on chicken dry mouth. Chicken wings were phenomenal though 10/10. It was my friend's birthday and we did not enjoy the experience at all. I will start with the positive! the loaded fries with chicken was very flavorful and a shareable size, 3 of us ate from the plate and we had leftovers. We came on Monday for HH around 7:30 pm, we know HH was almost over, we live 5 mins away and wanted a quick bite and drink. The valet charges $20 or $40 on a week day and its not even that busy. We walked in and nobody was at the front so we asked the first person we saw " do we sit ourselves" , and she said just wait by the entry door and the host will seat you. Well the host came and said "go to the front & I can help you there". Cool. We get seated and given a menu. The menu was dirty, sticky, and over all filthy. We moved inside to the bar and asked a waitress "can you let the bartender know we are here, we think she went to the back for something". The waitress looked at us and said " oh, she know y'all here. She gone come". Instead of letting her know we moved to the bar. Anywho, Bunny took great care us. She literally made our experience go from 1 to a high 8. Ask for Bunnnyyy at the bar!!! Nice music playing. Today is Mother's Day. My friend and our husbands chose this restaurant as the celebration location. I had a small clue that the restaurant would not be up to Par after reading some of the recent reviews. The demise started at the valet-only parking lot; charges were double for this day. Secondly, the establishment's doors were so dirty, smeared with what looked like greasy fingerprints. But it's 11 a.m. (opening time), so it leads me to believe cleaning hadn't taken place the night before. We were promptly seated, but this vendor opens at 11 a.m. Our waitress served smiles and great energy to make up for the lack of eggs, bacon, and another item I can't remember. So we placed our order from the remaining items listed on the brunch menu. If I had known of the lack of key brunch items, we could've stopped and picked up some eggs from the local Sam's Club on my way in, and don't forget Houston is famous for H-E-B, and I am certain several cartons of eggs and bacon could have been obtained. As a small business owner myself, I understand the challenges small businesses may encounter; however, this was unacceptable. We proceeded and asked for lemons for the water. We were brought limes and oranges because, of course, the establishment was out of lemons as well. Our entrées were brought out warm. My pancakes were flat as though they were missing a key ingredient, maybe eggs . For the pancakes only at a price point of $19. I was expecting light and fluffy, not flat and dense . Did I mention that, as I was cutting my pancake, the table tilted to the right because it was unstable and uneven ? Thankfully, our husbands use their feet to stabilize the table so we ladies can celebrate eating our underwhelming brunch without the table flipping over. One of my favorite Houston brunch spots!! I always recommend Lost & Found to my friends from out of town and they always deliver! My favorite dish is their Cajun pasta and this time I paired it with their Golden Cadillac cocktail which is also fire! They have a pretty large patio with plenty of TVs and fans for the summer time, but there is indoor seating as well. Hookah is also available here. Now this is a well known popular spot in Houston, so prepare to wait to be seated, especially if you do not have a reservation (highly recommended you do). Lines can be long and wrapped around the parking lot during peak times. However, once seated, their service is pretty quick for how busy they get. Parking can also be another issue because their small lot is valet only, so if you don't want to valet you will have to find street parking which can be a real task in that area. The aesthetics throughout the restaurant are really nice & you can get great pictures. There is also a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside since that was all that was available at the time and Aspen took great care of us. She recommended we try the frozen Golden Cadillac Margaritas & they definitely were one of the best frozen drinks I tried. We saw these pineapple upside down shots as well. The parking was a bit sketchy and we got charged when we parked our own vehicle just for the parking attendant to move the car. Next, we were seated fairly quickly and we got a great seat with high tables and booth located near the bar. this is my second time coming to Lost and Found and I will say it doesn't really disappoint me. The first time I came I had the Cajun pasta. It was good and this time I came on a Tuesday for their 50 Cent wings and got eight wings. I also ordered their loaded fries as an appetizer. Both were good. I do think they should fry the chicken wings just a tad bit harder because they were just coming apart once you pick them up. The service was good. I had a really nice waitress . I will say to make sure that you read because they already include gratuity and someone like me. I always tip so me not even knowing that they already took my tip. I tipped again so he ended up getting a really big tip. And it's not that he didn't deserve it. I think everyone should have an option of tipping. If you already have gratuity, then remove the tip option after someone pays. Or just remove the gratuity. The ambience is nice . They play a lot of hip-hop music, which I love. They also serve Hookah everyone in Houston serves Hookah. Lost & Found was a great spot to hit up after visiting the Museum of Fine Arts. They've got limited parking so valet or be mindful of where you park your car (thieves in the area, tow trucks, etc.) The patio area is great, the whole place is decorated nicely. Lots of tvs towards the back if you want to watch the game. Love how many booths they had. And the best part? The FOOD. I wasn't even hungry - but my family was. My god, I'll be dreaming about those cheese smothered fries with fried chicken until I go back. The hamburger, chicken sandwiches, even the regular fries are anything BUT regular! So perfectly crispy & well seasoned. The service was terrific - a dark haired gentleman with stretcher earrings & black nail polish served us. Probably one of the most thoughtful servers we have ever had. There was an automatic 20% tip for our group of 5 which I get & support. Only problem is I definitely should've tipped even more so I'll have to get him when I go back. They play loud rap music with plenty of curse words so if you're delicate about these things maybe don't bring the kids. But mine are teenagers & we didn't mind. Let me start with the ridiculous valet only parking. Or signs that say there's a lot of break ins in the area. So, $20 for regular valet and $40 for VIP valet. That was a turn off. We had reservations and they gave us a booth. Cool... however you can tell they don't really clean the tables/seats. There was a long hair on the booth - btw, we were there when they had just opened so they did have time to clean up. The table had something sticky on one of the corners. Service was decent. Met some colleagues here on a Friday afternoon. This is a good place when the weather is good and you have a group. We had about 10 people rotate in and out over the course of 3 hours and it was easy. Our server was nice but her shift ended while we were still there so she closed us all out and we had to start over with someone else if we wanted to order something. I suspect this was so she could get her tips that she rightfully owned, but it just felt a little weird to be asked to do that. Overall people enjoyed their food - wings seemed to be a hit. We all ended up tipping and didn't notice until one of us had the receipt sent to their phone and realized there was already a gratuity fee for the four of us. Prices were okay, we felt that it could've been more cheaper but all our bills (with each plate to one person and no drinks, just waters) came out to about $30+ each person. I have a shellfish allergy so i immediately asked the bartender if the chicken was fried in the same grease as the lobster bites he informed me that the same grease was used, i then inquired about the fries and if they were fried in the same grease as well, the bartender told me that all fried food was fried in the same grease. With my allergy that left me with very little options. The manager was never called to converse with me about my allergy nor was i offered any other food suggestions only alcohol.
