They say they will bring you a storage unit that is ready to go and clean, but I guarantee that…read morefive days and you'll find mice crap all over your unit, and our unit had mice crap in it when we first moved in we thought it would just not be a problem. Would not recommend this place at all.

Not a storage unit that is worth your time. i spoke to a female employee on June 2nd just before…read moreclosing. She said the storage was going to be "$65.00 for a 10X20 with a $20.00 refundable deposit". On June 8th in the am my family realized we weren't going to need it after all. I called and spoke to a pleasant young man who stated that we would have to pay $2.25 each day from June 2nd-June 8th. This I understood but acknowleged I though it was closing around closing time on June 2nd so I shouldn't be charged for that day. He then gave the phone to the "bookkeeper" that ended up being the owner. She informed me that they wouldn't be charging me for June 2nd but they were going to keep my deposit and charging me for five days. She stated they have a 10 day cancelation policy and I hadn't done that. Two issues with this is 1) no one told me of this policy when I was on the phone paying them and 2) I hadn't had the unit for 10 days only half that. The owner spoke over me while I was talking, extreamly arguementative and even accused me of lying. She suggested I had changed my story when speaking to her. I reiterated what I had said verbatum and she made no further accusations on that issue. I believe this company is not a company I would want any of my family or friends to be involved with. I don't mind paying for the five days but keeping the deposit when not one foot was even on the property and they had NEVER even given me or my family a key is very unprofessional and crass. I expressed the unfairness I felt and even explained i was going to share my experience online so others could see how situations were handled. her response was very nonchalant. Now you are informed though. They may not charge as much as others up front but they have a sneaky way of getting money other ways.

I have a small unit here and it turns out they do not maintain their roofs. There was apparently…read morefrost that got through the roof and it leaked water all over my things. Including family heirloom photos that insurance can't replace. I went to the office and at first the guy told me, "I don't have any units leaking.". We showed him photos. I felt no kind of apology or anything. They wouldn't even offer a discount on the rent! If you don't wish to file a property insurance claim, go elsewhere. They don't seem to care at all.

We had a unit at the 2nd street location. We visited it on 3/28 and everything was fine. When we…read morevisited our unit again on the 31st it had been broken into - the sliding hasp had been pried open making the locking mechanism useless. We called the number multiple times to get someone to come down on the Saturday and work with us - no answer, left multiple messages which were never returned. We called the police and filed a report, and even the police had trouble getting a hold of the manager - who still didn't care to come to the unit. During this conversation with the Police Officer we were informed that the 2nd street location had several break ins over the last 6 months that the owners/managers never let the customer's know about. So we moved all our items out and swept out the unit. I left a message saying that we had vacated the unit and I didn't want to be charged for the month of April. On Monday I called again (no answers), and even went to the main street office to talk to someone in person. We waited for over 30 minutes for someone to open the office door. no one came. We left and finally got a hold of the manager a couple hours later. She was rude - like she didn't have time for my petty problems, but finally said she would be vacating our unit as of the 31st and I would NOT be charged for April. Well today I noticed that my card was charged on the 4th of April. My husband and I went back to the main street location and were met by the same woman whom I had talked to on the 2nd. She had the same attitude, like I was bothering her. She looked up our unit and it was NOT vacated. She said that she would cancel the transaction. I questioned how it could be canceled when it was already completed.. Finally after a bit of pushing she returned my storage fee and gave me the cleaning deposit back. I will be watching my account for the actual return very closely. I will NEVER rent from this company again. I'm sorry that they only have one person working two locations, but that is not the customer's fault and customer shouldn't be greeted by crappy attitudes and definitely shouldn't have to fight to get a refund when their unit is broken into and we had no option but to vacate the unit..
