Stopped in while waiting for a friends next store. What a great little florist shop. Who knew? It's so hidden. Inside there are great gift ideas for all occasions. Very whimsical and cottage like. The owner was quiet but nice. She stated they have been open for 5 years. Didn't buy flowers but they looked beautiful. I saw a few great gift ideas for friends and will be back.

This may just be my flower shop for future floral purchases. It's a cute little boutique shop on the corner of Glenoaks and Magnolia. I was in need of a last minute corsage for my son to bring his homecoming date and they were really speedy, friendly and affordable. The corsage was only $15 + tax and ready when I came back in an hour. I feel like they really tried to get me something that worked with the theme of the party which was Greek. Most other corsages were made with baby's breath, but when we picked up our corsage I niticed ours had these other pretty little flowers and sprigs of Rosemary that gave the corsage a Greek feel. Loved the corsage and I am super happy with my choice to come here.

I had such a wonderful experience with this Florist. I texted the number on the website and instantly was responded to call Hilda- her partner. Hilda asked me a couple questions, making the order super simple and I was able to pick it up the next day when I needed it. With just a few simple questions Hilda made an extremely beautiful bouquet and at such an affordable price. I told them my price range, something with red roses and that I did not want lilies. I am always reluctant ordering and not knowing what I am going to get but wow. This is the best flower shop in the valley and maybe in Los Angeles! For the price, you CANNOT beat their work. For $100, I got this beautiful arrangement for my boyfriend's studio launch in Hollywood. I couldn't spend a ton of money and they understood that. They were lovely, accommodating and worked with my budget. Look how beautiful this arrangement is!

Quick pink/purple bouquet for graduation gift!

This place was very quick and convenient. It was the closest to me and I needed to get a last-minute bouquet for a graduation ceremony. I told the lady that I was getting a bouquet for a friend who likes Baby's Breath and the color pink and that my range was between $15-25. She was able to quickly and nicely put together a beautiful pink and purple bouquet all for around $22. However, when she was done, I asked where the Baby's Breath were, and she told me they ran out and wouldn't get another shipment till the day after. Even though it was still a beautiful bouquet, I was disappointed and wished she had told me from the beginning that they didn't have the only flower I specifically asked for.

I am loving this enchanting little flower shop more and more with every visit and every order. Such talented mother and daughter team. I also live the many little trinkets and add ons they have that accentuate the beautifully arranged flowers and give you that little extra! The place is like a secret little garden, with many choices of different flowers, wild flowers, ordinary and extra/ordinary ones! If I had a garden it will look just like this store! The prices are reasonable and you leave the store feeling grateful and great. I have been ordering few times now and every time I find myself falling in love with the arrangement and the store. Especially now they have Christmas decorations and it fills the store with that magical little twinkle.

I came across Lavanda Flowers on YELP while looking for a florist in the Burbank area that got awesome ratings. My boss got a promotion and the department wanted to give her congratulations flowers. I went in on my lunch hour (what a heavenly smell when you walk in) and just told them the reason I for me coming in and wanting an arrangement for X amount of money. I picked the vase and said I wanted a "happy arrangement." We talked about the flowers in the refrigerator, the colors, what I wanted, didn't want. Asked that the arrangement be ready by the next day for pick up. When I got there, I was amazed. See attached pictures. The pictures really don't do it justice but you will not be disappointed if you go in and not sure what you want or what you are going to get. Be sure to use the YELP 10% off discount when you spend $40.00 or more. Parking can be tricky as there is a medical office next door.

Yes, they a little bit more pricey than the grocery store arrangements, but you really get your money's worth and high quality blooms. If you need a flower arrangement for any occasion I totally recommend this place. It was a bit difficult to find for me but worth finding. The two ladies that work there are the nicest flower shop ladies I have ever met. Very helpful and patient. They will make your arrangement from scratch and make it look super gorgeous. read more

Came in to this store for some flowers for a wedding party. The inside smells amazing. Which i guess should be pretty standard for a flower shop. The girl behind the counter was very helpful letting me know what size and options would be best for my needs. We were able to get in and out in no time at all thanks to that. One other point that's worth messaging is that they are open slightly later. A lot of other places in the area close at 5 or 6 which makes it hard to get to after work. This place was open later and for that I was very grateful. Ill be back here next time I have an event. I also always appreciate a place that gives us yelpers a discount! Bottom line. You get what you pay for. The prices seemed a bit outrageous, $40 for a corsage for homecoming, but absolutely beautiful work!!! I wouldn't normally spend that on something for one night but my son had waited to the last minute to decide to go to homecoming and they were the only place that could accommodate my same day request. Unlike the many make shift florist shops in Burbank (I had visited three trying to find one who could make it that day) where a corsage is just one big rose with some baby's breath haphazardly clumped around and a bow, this was serious art! Mini roses and orchids and all just really really beautifully put together. So bottom line is, it's pricy but probably worth every penny if you care about flowers. If price is all you care about go elsewhere. read more

In Hawaii, we give flowers for almost every occasion (and sometimes, just because) to all those we love. Our "leis" come in every color, so many delicious scents from our beautiful flowers. I couldn't be there in California for my girlfriend's sister's birthday (they live in LA), but I really wanted to send her something beautiful for her special birthday. I found Lavanda's on Yelp, called and asked how much? I told them the occasion (birthday), her favorite flower (sunflower, out of season) and her favorite color (yellow). They gave me a price, and voila!! Beautiful arrangement delivered and smiles all around. Not easy trusting a florist to provide the "right" arrangement without even seeing what they have to offer (except from you, my fellow yelpers!). My husband brings home flowers on the regular scheduled "roses" holidays (thank goodness for Valentine's Day and Mother's Day ‍) and I've always thought they were the most beautiful roses. Yesterday was our anniversary and he remembered, so he took me to go pick out my own flowers. The workers there were so sweet and helped me put together a bouquet that was different and the exact flowers that I love. Such a nice flower spot. Found them yesterday and decided to walk in for two bouquets. They were able to quickly put the bouquets together and made them look stunning! I walked in without any idea of what I wnated the flowers to look like and they were able to help guide me and show me what flowers and colors would work together. Asked for a bouquet of flowers on a budget of $25 and the total came out to be a little over $20 (: !! Best surprise ever! The bouquet looked like it was so much more than what I spent. The person helping me out told me tulips were out of season. So sad, but I did ask last minute so that was my fault for them not being in stock. The mixed bunch she picked out for me still included some white tulips, gerberas, white flowers that I have no idea what they're called, and some pretty roses. They were all wrapped up so prettily (: fit for the birthday girl! Would recommend visiting this flower shop for a beautiful bouquet. I called to see if they had the date available for my wedding and I was told to call the wedding planner. What I don't understand is if they want my business why don't they transfer me to their planner or at least offer me the phone number for their planner. If this is how we are going to start off then no thank you I do not wish to proceed. First of all in response, your comment is very unprofessional and rude for a business owner! Second, I did not say I do not want to work with a wedding planner. I said "I do not have a wedding planner, I'm planning everything by myself ", because you kept telling me to call the wedding planner instead of just giving me their number or just transferring me. You kept repeating yourself instead of saying something like... "Sure it'll be one moment I'll transfer you to our wedding planner (name) to provide you with a consultation for your floral needs, before I transfer you this is their number incase we get disconnected." Third, you are correct every business has the right to refuse their business to any customer but I did not offer you my business and your comment below proves to me that I made the right choice! Lastly, Yelp is a tool that consumers use to make sure that they choose the right business for their needs based on positive or negative reviews. read more

My family and I love Lavanda Flowers. We have been patrons (8-10 years?) since they opened their shop on Glenoaks Blvd before moving on Magnolia Blvd. My girls and I usually buy 8-10 bouquets (depending on the occasion - graduation, plays, etc). These ladies are amazing! I went to them based on their yelp reviews and was completely blown away when the flowers were recieved. I sent them to my roommate for her birthday and they were everything that I was looking for and more. I told the girls there that I wanted pink, green...just beautiful and BRIGHT! She received them on a Thursday, and almost a week later they are still as fresh and beautiful as the day she got them. Three of the tulips have even blossomed:) The price was VERY reasonable too....my favorite part:) Thanks Lavanda! You girls are the best! p.s. they told me that they are moving very soon. I immediately noticed there was no clear explanation of the process -- I had to ask questions just to understand how things worked. Despite that, I gave very clear and specific instructions: a red rose, wrapped with black trim, gold-sprayed leaves, and baby's breath. On the day of pickup, I called to confirm the order was ready and was met with rudeness over the phone. When I arrived and saw the boutonniere, I was completely disappointed -- there was no baby's breath. When I asked about it, I was told, "Oh, I didn't put it. I thought what I added looked more elegant." Imagine paying for something and having someone change your order based on their personal preference. That is unacceptable. I had to firmly express my concerns and insist that it be corrected to match what we originally discussed and ordered. While I waited for it to be fixed, it was frustrating to say the least. Instead of baby's breath, she added small yellow flowers that would have completely clashed with his suit and the color theme of his party. Thank goodness this was not our wedding day -- the outcome could have been an absolute disaster. I'm sharing this so others are aware: double-check your order before leaving. Unfortunately, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this business.

I know Anahit and Karine for already 7 or more years and i remember how the 1st day i walked in to see what kind of flowers they had they were super nice and sweet i felt like i came in to my aunt's flower shop and since that day until today Lavanda Flowers & gifts is like my second home and Anahit is just most amazing person I've ever met i just walk in and say I come for my lunch morak jan which means auntie in Armenian and Karine is just like a sister to me. they are most talented, amazing women I've met. i trust them so much that i can just tell them the amount i want to spend and i am 1000% sure it will be so much more then i expected to be. I am just amazed how in like 5min they make the most beautiful bouquets ever. there has not been once that i toke a arrangement or bouquet to someone and they didn't LOVE it. where ever i go i always stop by to get flowers from them because i am so sure that it is going to be the best of the best. and a special note to my amazing Anahit. As you walk into Lavanda, you will be welcomed by the sweet scent of lavender and vanilla. This charming florist feels like no other florist. It is as if you are in an enchanted garden. Lavanda has been my florist for years since they opened their shop in Burbank. The owner and her daughter are the sweetest ladies ever. They did an amazing job with the floral arrangements for my baby shower. The arrangements exceeded my expectations. They added sweet butterflies to the beautiful arrangements along with a perfectly done bow to the vase. My guests were in awe and I received a lot of compliments on the flowers. The ladies not only worked with my budget, but listened to my vision of my theme. I was so pleased with their work that Lavanda became my go to florist for all occasions. I have called them for funeral arrangements, anniversary, birthdays, graduations, just because floral gifts and much more. I love that they make the simplest arrangement so very beautiful and extraordinary. Their flowers are always fresh and I just adore the finishing touches that they always do- spraying a mist of water and wrapping the flowers in color and a beautiful bow! About 1.5 months ago I had a similar situation with this flower shop. Not that I didn't want to spend the money or was haggling over the price, but the arrangement looked poor and the lady was atrociously rude (I was confused on who was the customer and who was the flower shop employee). At the time I was going to write something in Yelp but I did not as I saw all positive reviews and I thought it was an isolated incident that happened to me. As I saw in earlier reviews, I am not the only one. After taking a closer look at the "positive" responses, I think some of them are doctored , because no real customer will write a review and add a comment in the end: BTW this business is moving to and address follows (See Ralf J's review dated 5/21/2012).
