Last year, on my first trip to America, I wanted to bring flowers to Michael Jackson and Elizabeth Taylor at Forest Lawn. I found Honey Bee Flowers and came by metro and bus. Mary made two huge beautiful baskets for me with a discount. When she found out I didn't have a car, she told me I couldn't carry two big baskets to Forest Lawn in the heat and offered to drive me there herself. She drove me there, came inside with me, even help took photos of me, and then offered to take me back to the metro. I tried so many times to give her money as a thank-you, but she refused. Family owned, Affordable prices, good website interface, beautiful flowers, what more can you ask for. Wanted to send a friend flowers to Forest Lawn Glendale they charge $10 flat fee for delivery but they don't charge for ribbon banners. So I think it evens out. I like that they don't place the banner over the flowers. I had a scare when I got a delivery notice 3 days before service.. they said notification was sent out as a mistake thankfully they made it on time. read more

Called Honey Bee for an arrangement for a funeral and spoke to Arpi. She was very helpful and even though it was near the closing time she made sure I was taken care of and didn't rush me. She was very accommodating and even waived the delivery fee which I was very appreciative of. The arrangement turned out beautifully just as I had seen in the website so I was very pleased. The afternoon that we came home from the hospital we were sent a bouquet of flowers from Honey Bee Flowers, which initially looked lovely. Unfortunately by the next morning the majority of the flowers were turning brown and dying. We knew that this was not normal and called and spoke to the owner told him what the problem was. We even sent him pictures of what they looked like. He agreed that what he saw was not right and said that he would make it right and send us a new bouquet. He was bemoaning the fact that we were so far away so we told him he didn't have to do it the next day. In fact if it would make it easier for him he could bring the replacement the following week. He agreed that would help and said he would. That was over a week ago and still no sign of the replacements. We come from a family who in the past owned numerous flower shops in the San Gabriel Valley and even owned one of the biggest Rose Parade Float manufacturers. So when we say that this kind of customer service in the floral industry is not only unacceptable it also gives the local Mom and Pop florist shops a bad name and forces people to use companies like Pro Flowers. We will not be recommending this shop to anyone in the future and will not be suggesting those that do use them not to in the future. read more
