Visited for first time recently and impressed. Lots of cute summer clothes and jewelry! Even had a couple sale racks! :)

Unfortunately for me this was my first and last purchase. I placed an order online on 4.19 and…read morereceived a shipping confirmation on 4.20. On 5.02 after shipping never updated, I emailed asking to cancel the order and refund my money if they were not shipping the product. I got one email back on the same day confirming they would cancel. I've emailed three times again since that request with zero response back and no refund.

I would strongly advise spending your hard earned money somewhere else. Owner is not concerned with…read moreproviding a last experience with her clients. Had a $25 giftcard I purchased for my wife 3 years ago (for xmas). We met my mother at the Mooresville shop on 12/21 who said she LOVED their sele tion, it was her first time visiting. My wife found a t-shirt she wanted an remembered to bring her gift card. To her dismay they refused it and said it expires after 3 years. Lady behind counter calls manager (Amanda the owner) and asks for additional info from me. After waiting 5 to 10 min we find out they will not honor. My mother overheard the conversation after purchasing a few hundred dollars worth of product. Molly Malones lost 2 customers today and will be receiving a full return of the products my mother purchased that day. My customers would never receive this type of service. Clearly the owner cares more about the $25 i spent 3 years ago than the hundreds to thousands she just lost. Spend your money elsewhere people where your dollar is appreciated in these hard times. Shame on you Amanda.

My husband and I had some time to kill between sushi and a movie, so we decided to check out…read morePlato's Closet. Big plus--they're open until 9PM, which is perfect for a little late-night retail therapy. No big welcome when we walked in, but the staff seemed focused on their tasks, so it didn't really bother me. The store was clean, organized, and easy to browse. My husband actually found more than I did--men's section was solid. The women's section had variety, but the plus-size options were disappointing. Label sign said XXL, but I didn't find anything truly above an XL. As a reseller, I appreciated the selection and price point overall, though prices were on the higher side--pretty aligned with what most thrift stores are charging these days. Shoes were the highlight--nice display with LOTS of trendy styles, including Dr. Martens and platform options. I only found one pair of blk/rainbow Cortez looking platforms in my size 10 size, which the old raver in me really wanted but the SAHM in me had to pass. The bag selection was small, limited to a single basket-style display. They had a mix of sunglasses too--some out and some in a case. Accessories were mid, and the phone cases were for random phone models I didn't recognize. I chatted with one of the employees who was super helpful and explained the selling process--no appointment needed, just drop in with your items. He also mentioned they're NOT looking for formalwear, which makes sense because the store leans more grunge, retro, punk, and pop culture vibes. I will say, this store leans towards one of the best Plato's stores I've been to compared to some in Cali that were just a complete wast of time. Thinking about bringing in a few pieces to sell--curious to see how that goes. Will definitely update after!

The clothes are great, super big choice of clothes. The problem is the employees, I have never felt…read moreso unwanted in a store ever. The employees treat you like you are bothering them and don't say hi or bye when coming in or leaving. Every single time I've been in I've been judgmentally stared at and like I said treated like I was an annoyance just for being in the store. Jm not sure if it's the management that just makes everyone there miserable or what it is but I'm surprised they haven't done anything about it yet. Not to mention last time I went in it REEKED of weed. Would not recommend coming to anyone unless you need to find something for an occasion because you will be treated like gum on the bottom of the employees shoe!
