As women -we struggle with the image in our minds and matching it to what is available to us in the world (we are our worst critics). This store is my favorite dress shop in the central coast area! I needed a gown for a winter ball last minute and ended up at Hey Gorgeous. I walked in about a year ago, close to closing time and Krista very warmly greeted me. I was worried I'd be turned away since it was late, and had driven and hour and a half to get there. Instead, she wasn't pushy and helped with some of my questions. I was one of those girls who had no clue what I wanted and just gave the direction of "it has to be unique and elegant." Helpful right? I was surprised because the shop seems small but they have a large selection and plenty of variety. Krista helped me pick about 10 different beautiful dresses. I ended up falling in love with 2 show stopping dresses, and just couldn't decide. I joked "I could just get both," knowing full well that probably would be a pretty penny. To my surprise both dresses were about half the price I expected. I also didn't realize I came in around a holiday, which Krista was giving a discount for. I ended up buying a ball gown type dress for around $350 and essentially got my second evening gown free with the discount. I still have the dresses and have worn them on multiple occasions. I always receive compliments and lots of stares. They're comfortable, they've held up, and were well worth the money. I'll be shopping here for all my other dresses as long as I'm in this area. I started out seeking suits for my wedding at Men's Warehouse like many of my friends. Their product was just poor material and expensive. Additionally, since I'm a smaller guy, they didn't have anything that fit me (I'm 5' 6", 135 lbs). I was surprised as they are a national chain. I then searched for another suit rental in the area and found Hey Gorgeous. My entire experience with Krista was fantastic. She was transparent in her pricing, the suits were exactly what I wanted (slim fitting), and she was so positive and friendly throughout the whole time. She found me rentals that fit me perfectly. So many good things to say about Hey Gorgeous and Krista! First off they have the best dress buying technique around. Pay $50 and pick two dressed to have shipped in your size to the store. Try them on don't like them, cool order two more, AND THE BEST PART the $50 is applied to the dress you decide on purchasing in the end!! Second, the service. SO AMAZING. They take your measurements, make you feel comfy, and you just feel over all welcomeness here. It is really wonderful. Lastly, they go above and beyond. My dress came in and the zipper was sort of sticky on the dress, she offered to have her seamstress fix it at no charge. I was like no its fine. I can make it work, just have to fidget with it. Well sure enough the day of came and I got the zipper up, problem was I couldn't get it to go down! I was stuck in my dress. She right away told me how to get it off and then was able by miracle to have her seamstress come to my rescue. Lesson learned always listen to Hey Gorgeous and Krista! Simply wonderful experience.
