I had the opportunity to eat here last week. I had the chicken and it was good but basically just chicken. Service was good. I couldn't believe that they charge a cover...... I have never paid to go eat at a restaurant. That would be the reason I would not go back. There are so many good places to eat in Springfield that paying to eat here is a no go for me. I'm behind on reviews so I'm going to do 2 in 1. First off - I have to say we were lucky enough to get 2 reservations in the month of June and had absolutely lovely experiences both times. The first trip we took my husband's cousin and wife as they were visiting from out of town and everyone was in love with our seats out on the porch. There was a fan going and the temperature was perfect! Everyone's steak was cooked perfectly and sides were unique and yummy! Our second trip was with our daughter and was the last evening they were open for the season. Again everyone's food was perfect and the waitress surprised us with a round of cheesecake at the end of our meal as we were her last table for the year. She even brought out all of the sauces and drizzled them on table side. What a way to make us feel special. Can't wait for next year! read more

This was a really fun experience. The location is off the beaten path and a fun drive not too far out from Springfield. There were some concerns about parking but they had an attendant that helped us park and made the process a bit smoother. We were seated outdoors but could still hear the music inside. I ordered the salmon with the risotto and side salad. My husband had the chicken. My salmon is tasty. The risotto was good as well. I had a bite of my husband's chicken and it was very moist. As far as sides goes, skip the salad and get risotto or something else. It was just a salad. Nothing outstanding or interesting about it. We were celebrating birthdays and they brought out cheesecake for our birthday people on the house. That was a very nice touch to cap a great night with family. read more

We had an amazing time at lavender falls! The scenery is beautiful, the service was top tier (our server and the sweet junior hostess, Ellen, were the absolute best!), and the drinks (get the lavender margarita!) were incredible. Getting a reservation was difficult but I'm glad we managed! We loved the bruschetta and goat cheese appetizers. Our steak medallions were pretty good, and the mushroom risotto is a must! Expected food to be more lavender infused, smallest scallops I've ever seen and parking was a nightmare

We were so excited about snagging a reservation. On the the website it was made to believe that it was a year out for a reservation. We arrived 20 minutes early because we were worried about parking. We had never been to the restaurant before but received a text message saying all must carpool any single riders will not be allowed to park. They wouldn't seat us until 6:00pm sharp. We sat down at the table and we ordered chicken for our 2 year old to come out first. The chicken came out cold and looked to be half cut up and half torn up. It was very unappetizing and had zero flavor. For an appetizer we ordered the scallops as well as the bruschetta. The scallops again had no flavor and looked like they came out of a can. For the entrees we ordered the rib-eye as well as the medallions. Everything that came to the table was cold and flavorless. The salad had zero dressing. Usually for $120 you get a very yummy meal with great service but sadly this restaurant just has a unique atmosphere. read more

So last year I booked reservations here and we had to go to a funeral and so my daughter stayed and invited her friends and they got to go enjoy the food and restaurant . Now mind you, I paid a $70 deposit and because there were only 6 that showed up they kept $10.00. No big deal, they enjoyed themselves. So this year I stayed up on Feb 1 and made sure I got a reservation so I could go this year. I was so excited. Even today, I was so excited to experience it. There was seven of us and when I booked I paid a $70.00 deposit. We all ordered and when we got our food: my steak was cooked medium and I ordered well done. Three people ordered potatoes and they got the mushroom rice. So they had to bring potatoes out to the them. Everyone finished their meal and when my steak finally came out to me I was eating alone with everyone watching me. We get the bill: $335.00. But this is the part that really upset me. When I asked for my $70.00 deposit back, it was a cover fee. They are charging it so they did not have to raise prices in 2025. Please, I just paid 50.00 a plate. Which note: this is not on Facebook but on their web page about the deposit. Soooo, I just paid $50.00 a plate and you are keeping my $70.00. So now I have spent $60.00 per plate on fatty Ribeye that was not cooked properly. So disappointed and I was so excited to eat here. The deposit should be applied to the meal if the customers show up and keep the deposit of the ones who do not show up. It's wrong. I would have rather eaten at Flame and not spent $425.00 on this food. read more

I'm going to give this a four, with the caveat that I'd give it a five for atmosphere and service, and a 3/3.5 for food. We were really excited to try this. I used to live in Springfield, and I couldn't make up my mind which "old haunt" I wanted to visit for dinner, so went somewhere new! It had been recommended to me months earlier, so I made reservations on the day they were open. I loved the feel of the place, and our server was incredible. She was super polite, friendly, not overbearing...really did a great job! It was a beautiful evening, and we loved sitting outside. The food was just okay for me, though. I loved our app (the tuna tartare or whatever it was called), but the main dishes we had were not super standout in my mind. I had grilled chicken, and tasted like something we would normally have at a summer bbq...good, but not great. My husband had the salmon, and it was about the same. Sides were decent (mushroom risotto and I can't remember what else). Dessert (panna cotta) was pretty good. So, overall, okay on the food, but not quite what I had expected. read more

This place is heavily hyped - so much so, that you need a reservation potentially months in advance. The reservations for the "2021 season" opened in February and my partner snatched one up for June, really quick, and placed it on our shared calendar. Imagine my shock when we finally got to our reservation and it was just a terrible experience, for all of the hype involved. The good: the farm, just a short drive outside of Nixa, is a really gorgeous property. It's in a hillside, very scenic and appropriately decorated for what it is. It's probably a really great place to take pictures. The "meh": Parking could be better. I get how parking is limited - it's a farm on a hillside. Highly recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle! And preferably one that's narrow in width. Don't be early... they will not seat you, even if there are a solid number of tables available, until the exact minute of your reservation. We were there *TWO MINUTES* early and were told to go look at the farm until our time. The ugly: Literally everything else. From the first encounter with the hostess, who wouldn't seat us for being 2 minutes early, to being seated next to an obnoxious table full of local sports TV personalities (hi Ned Reynolds! You weren't obnoxious, but the other folks with you were!), to our server who couldn't give less of a crap in the entire world, to the food itself. I ordered the steak medallions, my partner ordered the salmon, and we both ordered hummus and lavender honey cheesecake; we also ordered a "Lavender Margarita" and a "Lavender Prosecco". The drinks: they were plain ol' drinks. Not even an accent or garnish of lavender. Just a mediocre margarita and a Prosecco. There was nothing special about any of the entrees, either: while they were advertised in the menu as being flavored or cooked with lavender, we could taste no such thing. The steak medallions were slightly charred pieces of steak, and the salmon was undercooked and partially raw. The risotto with both of our meals was more than al dente and bordered on "uncooked". Finally, let's talk about what was perhaps the best part of the meal... the lavender honey cheesecake. The honey was delicious and the only thing we could taste lavender in... the cheesecake? It appeared to be straight from the Sam's Club freezer, and was in fact, still partially frozen. In summation: don't waste your time. The hype is just that... hype. If you want a really great meal in the area with a really great atmosphere with the same kind of ambiance as Lavender Falls, go to Harvest over in Rogersville, instead. read more

What an interesting place just a short drive from Springfield and you are truly out in the woods! A live band which really set the tone. Lavender infused items were great and different than used to. They have wine and food trays - it's good but probably store bought Cheesecake but with a homemade sauce - same with cake and other food items. Relaxing environment. Wonderful and peaceful location. They had a band on site. Plus a friendly dog walking around! We walked down away from the serving area and they had chairs set up around a pond. Beautiful view with string lights set up. Really relaxing. Portable potty on site, outdoors so a few bugs and gravel driveway parking - just so you know it's a little rustic but a really cool place and we'll be back! read more

We had the ribeye and it was just l a bad steak on a grill that someone threw on out back, tough and no flavor, not from a chef. The potatoes were just boiled and cold. I want to love this business, but there are a lot of little issues that made my visit less good than I expected. I have high hopes that it'll be able to develop into a great venue though. I came for brunch with a small group. Service was fairly prompt. The lemonade was bad. It didn't taste sweetened at all and needed more ice. It also had zero lavender flavor. The iced tea was better on the lavender flavor, but the ice had melted by the time it was served to us. We had to request additional individual cups of ice. The menu is very, very limited. If you have dietary restrictions, I would reconsider coming at brunch (I can't speak to the other menus). I ordered my favor café food - bagel & lox. It was lackluster at best. Certainly not worth the price. The salmon was so, so salty I really considered not eating it. The yogurt I split with my mother was scarcely better. I'm sad to say that it felt to me that we were clearly paying for the mystique of quality rather than actual quality. The dog that was there was very sweet and cute, but smelled terribly. If this place was billing itself as low brow, easy fun (and charging a comparable price), I think this would be a different review. Lastly, while there, I saw a snake at the water area. I'm not a snake identification expert (so I don't know if it's poisonous) and I understand wildlife do what they want, but it seems reasonable to mention it. I am obsessed with lavender and was VERY excited when someone told me about this venue. I only wish it'd lived up to expectations. read more

This is one of my favorite places in the world! This is our third time here, first time brunch, and first time bringing the kids. Service was a little slow for their first ever brunch, but they graciously made up for it with complimentary dessert (we got one one each dessert on the menu), which was delicious! The smoked eggs Benedict was perfect (although the red onions may have been better pickled instead of raw), and the goat cheese with lavender honey never disappoints! They have a bunch of new culinary treats in their shop if you are a foodie, and they have a huge yard for kids to play in by the waterfall. This is such a picturesque place and a unique find in the Springfield area. Thank you for being a part of my best Mother's Day yet, Lavender Falls! This place is the MOST perfect place for date nights during the late summer early fall season. They only accept people with reservations and he process of making a reservation is super easy. While they don't have a full dinner menu, they have MANY cheese and meat boards and a big menu of wines and drafts. Their specialty being lavender, we tried lavender everything. My favorite has to be the goats cheese with lavender on little baguettes. The mulled wine was blissful and felt like happiness and warmth in a glass. They have a prosseco with lavender that's also pretty good. The meat boards are pretty filling too. Expect to pay a little more than springfield standards (around 70 for two), but it's worth it for a beautiful evening. They have an amazing patio and a little sit out place by a little pond. They had a nice live band that played good music. The highlight was the chocolate cake with raspberry and the lavender caramel! It was SCRUMPTIOUS. The only thing I'd improve was not serve the wine in a plastic glass. Cutlery could definitely be better. It's a very friendly place with bonfires and all things nice! read more

Beautiful hidden gem in the Ozarks! Eating lunch here made me feel like I had just taken a trip to a European countryside. The covered patio overlooking a stream down below was the perfect setting for snacking on lavender hummus and sipping on lavender champagne. They also have a cute shop full of the products made from the lavender they grow on site. You can even buy bundles of dried lavender! I will be back here soon! read more

I have a girlfriend who lives out in Clever and she was like let's try this place. Now, if you ever been to Clever, Mo. or how most people call it Cleeeever! I was a bit concerned thinking there was anything there worth seeing. Holy jumping jacks Batman ! This place rocks! Upscale, great people and the veiw was delightful. I sent my boyfriend out there to get some more of that seriously insane delicious Berry sauce they sell there. I told him his love life would deminish that weekend with me if he didn't return with a jar or two.
