When I went here to grab a bite of food before work, I ordered a chocolate muffin that tasted so bitter, I couldn't even finish one bite because it had no sweetness at all, instead it gave me a stomach ache and I was disappointed, it's like they forgot to add sugar. This coffee shop needs to improve their food a lot. But don't get me wrong, I like the atmosphere of a rustic barn and farm theme, with gardens outside. Delicious drinks! Tried the smoked maple latte and it did not disappoint. They made one of coffees incorrectly but were quick to correct the order. Everyone was so kind. There are live plants all over inside and outside. The place is literally brimming with life!!! read more

Love this coffee shop! Both the pastries (try the apple turnover if you can!) and the coffee (shout out to the yummy rotating seasonal lattes) are sooo good. The cute gift shop, overall ambiance, and details like plants on the tables and flowers for sale at the front just make the place so welcoming. Be aware this place is more of a family-friendly establishment, so if you're looking to study or do remote work, it's not the best option. Outlets are also hard to find for devices, which reinforces the above point. But it's a great spot if you want to meet up with friends and family, or peruse the property, which is beautiful! Sometimes the employees aren't the most attentive/responsive while people line up to order, and if you're wanting to get a drink to-go, you'll need to account for a long wait time to get your order if any other people ordered before you. My new favorite place - what an incredible spot. Finley Farms is a beautiful property and the Workshop is a gorgeous coffee shop. I really can't say enough great things about Finley Farms overall - great service, beautiful location, and great drinks. If I lived nearby, I'd be here every day. A dreamy Midwest version of the Magnolia Silos! Tried: For the coffee, I had an iced s'mores mocha, a fall menu item, and my husband had an iced mocha. Loved: Both mochas were amazing. There were bits of chocolate in it and my s'mores mocha had a toasted marshmallow on top - 10/10! Those with food allergies-- do NOT eat here! I have a gluten allergy and am nursing a young baby with a gluten sensitivity. I was excited to see The Workshop offering a gluten free muffin option. However, a server took my number and sat down a muffin in front of me (without saying what it was). When another server came by with a gluten free muffin, we realized the one I had been eating was a regular gluten muffin. I said, "oh no!" (Knowing that me and my baby would be in pain for days) And the server asked if I had an allergy. I told her yes, but I won't die from it. I gave her the glutinous muffin and she said she would be back with clean silverware, but in the 45 minutes we were there, no one ever came back with silverware or to check on me or apologize. The next day I sent a nice email, suggesting additional training for staff if they continue to offer allergen-free food so the same thing wouldn't happen to someone else (or something worse). Unfortunately, no one ever responded to my email or followed up. My family and I go pretty regularly to The Workshop, but I have been so disappointed with their lack of care, apology, or even a simple email reply as a customer service courtesy. So unfortunately, we will not be returning to The Workshop, and until they put systems and training in place to ensure they serve those with food allergies safely, I can't recommend this establishment anymore. read more

Came for a Santa and Mrs Claus experience. We were 5 mins early to get a seat close to the fire and were turned away by the rude girl working the front, only to watch other families walk in. It was 29 degrees outside. By the time we came back 5 mins later, all seats were filled and we ended up at the back. It was $25 per person to listen to Santa and Mrs. Claus read a story. The event clearly implies that cocoa and treats are included, but they were not. What a ripoff. read more

I was there with two friends. We each ordered quiche. It arrived on a plain white plate. No parsley, no orange slice. Just a bare plate. The quiche was not a wedge cut from a whole pie. It was an individual pie. It did not have a traditional crust. The crust looked like a dark brown piece of cardboard wrapped around a cheese and egg filling. The entire thing was tasteless and unappealing. There were three of us and we all thought it was very disappointing. The food was tasteless, the presentation was unnecessarily plain. Visited The Workshop on a recent stay in Ozark, what a gem for this community. This place reminds me of a mini magnolia farms- it's a complete dreamy vibe in such a good way. We stopped for lunch, and hang out time with friends. I got iced black tea and this egg sandwich, which was so good. Love that everything is farm to table, the gardens are beautiful surrounding it. This place is exactly all I had hoped it would be and did not disappoint. The atmosphere alone was worth the visit! Couldn't love this place more! Fresh ingredients. Friendly and knowledgeable staff- I had questions about some menu items and they were very knowledgeable and informative about them. The heirloom tomatoes on "The Bacon" were sweet and fresh. The greek yogurt parfait was so delicious and was the perfect balance of tart and sweet. My husband had the frittata & cheddar sandwich and he couldn't finish it, it was so filling! The root beer was smooth and refreshing! The seasonal latte (coconut) was hands down the best latte I think I have ever indulged in. The barista informed me that the coconut syrup is a house made simple syrup- honestly it's so good I am disappointed that it's only a seasonal item! (I plan to go back tomorrow for another!) The gift shop area is such a cute addition filled with thoughtful items and a great selection. There is also outdoor seating and a playground area for children. This has been my go-to for a great place to work with coffee since moving to Ozark. Beautiful atmosphere, open and airy. Fantastic when the big garage doors are open but equally awesome to sit by the fire inside on a cold day. The specialty coffee drinks change seasonally so there is always something new to try. When possible, they use greens and tomatoes from their gardens. The bacon avo toast is the best you will ever have, especially in summer with garden fresh toppings. Huge outdoor seating area in good weather too. Just an all-around delight every time! read more

Looking for a chill place to have a leisurely lunch (light fare), this is it! Don't bring a husband that's got a healthy appetite, this is not for him. Historic garage restored to a cool cafe, large wood tables with live plants (sage) growing in the center. Some local artisan products displayed in the corner. I had the cocoa mint coffee, excellent! We're not ever going back. This coffee shop used to have good muffins, for the last 3 visits, the muffins were stale, and tasted bitter, because they were loaded with bitter ingredients. My coffee drink was served in a 3/4 cup size cup, and I was charged full price. We had to walk 1/2 mile because the parking lot was roped off, I had to walk in tall wet grass and had new shoes on. The parking lot was closed due to an afternoon outdoor market. Why is there a market held in the tiny gravel parking lot adjacent to the coffee shop? Open air markets are usually in a grassy area to enhance the experience of shopping outside. If there's no parking available on Thursdays, The coffee shop opens at 7am, and the outdoor market event opens in the afternoon. I guess customers are not welcome. read more

Really loved the environment here! It was extremely busy when I came in to study but it slowly got quieter. Their food menu was incredible. I went with a season drink (based on recommendation, wasn't sure what was it in!!) and it was actually surprisingly good. Tasted very fresh.
