For the lack luster service I received they charged 96 dollars for a clear gel manicure on short nails and a gel pedicure. I usually pay that much for a full set PLUS a gel pedicure that includes hot wax and callous remover! And this is at a top nail salon. The manicure is a disaster. My cuticles are a mess. They are ragged and the gel isn't even filed smooth. This manicure will be lifting by next week. I wanted to like them as they seem like nice ladies but their quality of service does NOT warrant charging that much. So steer clear. Go to Avalon beauty bar or QT nails across the street. BEWARE! They add on a $15 charge to SIT IN A RECLINING/massage TYPE PEDICURE CHAIR!! I have never heard of this! There is 1 other small manicure table so I guess that's where they would put you if you knew enough to not sit in one of the 20 or more massage chairs. And then maybe they would bring out an old-school pedicure soak tub?? You walk in and they tell you where to sit down. They do not ask you if you want to pay a $15 charge to sit in a pedicure chair!! This is a ridiculous fee that they don't tell you about until you are paying. BEWARE!! There are lots of other places within 5 minutes. Stay clear of Lavender Nails! (P. S. I never write reviews but I just had to for this place. I went yesterday and originally wanted acrylic nails and a pedicure. I never get my nails done because I always have bad experiences but this place looked good when I did a quick yelp search. The nail tech that worked on me told me they don't do acrylic anymore even though A) it's included on the big services list in the shop and B) we called at 12 to make an appointment for 3 for acrylic, she didn't say anything on the phone, I HAVE NO IDEA WHY YOU WOULDNT SAY YOU DONT DO ACRYLIC WHEN WE CALLED LIKE ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME. Basically swindled us to go to these scammers. So the lady tells me they do dip powder and it's soooooo amazing and better for the nail, blah blah blah all the typical nail lady scammer talk. I accepted because I was already there, I got off work early to fucking get my nails done at this stupid place might as well get it. So I get it done and it's decent it's literally fucking French tip anyone could do not amazing. What I'm really upset about ultimately, is the pricing. NO WHERE does it say $60 for a stupid ass dip powder French tip manicure, it's says $52. I didn't get any stupid designs, no obscure length request or anything, all these scammers did was put some stupid powder on my nails and make them French tip. I could've done the same and I honestly should've just done that. I asked the lady that did my pedi why the price is so high and she was just like oh it's bc of your French tip. Wtf! What kind of dumbass reason is that? I just wanted to get the fuck out of there so I paid, $120!!! Look at my pics, it's so basic. Don't bother coming here. Also the pedicures are $51, ridiculous! I wanted to get my nails done last minute so I called them and they said they were free. It was my first and last time coming. I got a gel X fill. Although the ladies were nice, it took forever. Took abt an hour and a half. She kept messing up. She glued the nail on crooked and after she realized she took it off and dropped it on the floor, then put it back on my nail. The foot lady was good but the main lady Kim was not as attentive. She rushed through the job and didn't massage or provide lotion on my arms as they usually do after a mani. We found Lavender nails just this year in the middle of the year. I've heard of Powder nails before but never tried them before but since they had them I decided to try them! I do not regret it! I have always been a constant nail biter but ever since I've been doing powder nails I haven't bitten them at all and they're now actually the longest I've ever had them. (See photos I attached. Pink one is from near when I started and the green one is my recent nails) The staff at Lavender Nails are always so nice and accommodating! I always have the best time there and talking with them is fun. They always remember me and remember previous stuff that we've talked about and are very caring! Crazy pricing !! I rarely write reviews for anything but I had such a horrible experience that I felt inclined to warn others. My sister and I went for a simple manicure, not even color! On the pricing board a manicure is listed at $20. The lady asked me if I would like to buff my nails and I agreed, unknowingly, to an $8 up charge! I was barely in the seat for the whole process. We were both in and out in under 30 minutes!! It did not take that long for her to trim my nails or cuticles and buff. It took her even less time to do my sisters nails. On top of that, she cut my cuticle and she didn't seem to notice or care! My sister was cut twice on the tip of her finger and the side of her finger! Like you weren't even cutting anything that far up the finger ?? Apparently my sisters lady had such long nails that she cut the side of her finger with her own nails! How did she get cut there of all places??! Absolutely upset about the total: $56 which did not include tip. For the amount of effort, time, and mistakes that took place during this visit did not feel like it equated $56. read more

I can honestly say the woman who did my nails shaped my natural nails the best I've ever seen. Usually people don't understand that I want more of a square-shape to my square round. I had to knock off stars though due to the price and gel color selection. I could not believe it was $28 for just a gel manicure. That's $8 more than most places. I also had some chips within the first week, but overall they did hold up fairly long. I was looking for a nice blue, but they had almost none from what I recall.
