It was confusing, unprofessional, and unnecessary. Instead of helping, the attitude was dismissive and rude. When customers are spending good money in your store, basic respect and clear communication should be expected. This is unacceptable, and I will be contacting corporate about this experience. No customer should be treated this way, especially while spending so much money at your store. Management seriously needs to address both customer service and the lack of clear direction at checkout.
